Hey, I want to replace the pads in my Hope Tech Trial Disc Brake. From what I understand they use the same calipers as the old Hope Mono Trial Disc Brakes, so do they use the same pads? So are these the pads I'm after? Also some people aren't fans of the Hope pads, although I find them great, what other pads are highly recommended? Links to where I can buy them would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I guess for the moment your just going to have to buy your own hub, check the forums though if you're short on cash. Guess the moral of the story is that you shouldn't lend your bike to someone who you feel that you have to give them conditions that they will pay for any damage. When I let someone else use my bike I know they would pay/fix anything that they broke without me having to ask, unless if was already half broken. Edit: Definitely don't do anything stupid/illegal that could compromise your 'mate' giving you the money back.

I commend you for making videos but it's all about quality rather than quantity, as they say. If your out trying to create a brand for yourself it would be better to make one video, 3-5mins long, which is really good, touching on epic and post that up. Rather than a video every couple of weeks reusing clips that are in other video, unless they are truely epic of course. But that's my opinion, if you want to make loads of videos feel free! Edit: Another thing, your riding has improved loads since the first few videos, so awesome job.

Do good videos stop just outside of Inverness?

I wouldn't say it was very popular, millions?

As far as I understand that there are going to be a number of programs about 'the streets' the one titled 'Concrete Circus' is the one most of us will be interested in.

Remember you still have to get it to Tarty. There are a few shops around me who do wheel building ranging from £20-£40. Went for the cheap option and the wheel worked out really good.

You could go down the route of taking some silly supplements but I'm not a fan. A lot of athletes take ice baths, although cold water could be used as a substitute, after training to reduce recovery time. The cold apparrently makes blood rush to the muscles to help them repair quicker. linky Riding more often, for longer sessions, will also help as you will get stronger over time and need to use less energy, muscle, to do lines.

The rear sprocket can be any number really. I'm not sure what is popular on a mod but most stock and mod riders use a front freewheel (FFW) and they are normally 18t. The lower the number on the back the harder it will be to pedal, the larger the number the easier it will be.

Technically it is still the shops' property, but you could argue that because they intend to dispose of the items it is OK to take them.

Freeganism isn't all about bin raiding the local co-op bins. My Dad know quite a lot about plants and such so often goes on walks/cycle and finds loads of fruit bearing plants on public property in the suburbs/countryside. He's found everything from raspberries to apple/pear trees full of fruit.

I guess there isn't very good production value in the Highlands, that's a lie there have been some epic videos of riders in the Highlands. I don't know why we need to see all these Preview videos, if you are going to make a video make one, not a hundred of them leading up to one final video of which we have already seen all the content. Sorry

You should be able to push it on, it will take a bit of force because you wouldn't want it to fall out while riding. You could use a hammer but be gentle!

Is it a Echo SL Rear with a Magura HS33 Lever?

If they have banned you from the shop because you raised an issue, on a forum, don't go back. You don't need to go to Highland just because they sell trials bikes. All bikes are the same really so any shop will be able to service/fix your bike whether they sell trials or don't. -

I had this same issue a few days ago on my Android. Couldn't reply to a topic. Wrote out a reply pressed 'Add Reply' and it just took me straight to the TF Home page without add the post, I was using the full site version, not the mobile version, if that makes any difference. -
Really nice video guys! Loved the chilled out feel and the music really suited it. Only bad thing, and this is just be being picky, is that you can hear the man behind the camera but I guess it's all about taste.

After an invite? PM me.

Well you could either steal one, so that's pretty cheap. Or buy one from a reputable online shop or from this very forum, not as cheap but comes with the added benefit of no criminal record.

This is what a grinded rim looks like as opposed to a smooth non-grinded rim: People usually grind their rims to give better brake performance in wet/muddy conditions, or to give an excellent bite in the dry. But it's all personal preference. Edit: Here's a video: Rim Grinding

Either your sprockets and chain are worn out, or you need to take a few links out of your chain. Could also be the tensioner?
-
Fix your links! Good luck with the event, will probs pop by and see how you're getting on, on the day.

I use this chain, works well. Z610

Stewart Lee is an arsehole. I do find jokes about Top Gear funny. He isn't funny, and the fact he looks straight into the camera when joking about Hammond crashing. Especially when he says that joking about Gordon Brown's lack of eyesight isn't funny, plus he talked utter bullshit about how he did lose one of his eyes. It was at an University rugby game, not as a child. Dick.
