  2. Well if you watch Dave it's on everyday, but sadly I have a job, and anyway TG has always been on Sundays.
  3. I make it 11:25 Friday 1st of July. But Top Gear is on BBC 2 @ 8pm! Edit: On Sundays! And I have the feeling that there may be a bit of F1 action this week!
  4. +1 Been using them for a few years now. My download speeds are usually around 3-5 Mb/s in the evenings. Upload varies quite a bit I think max I've had is 0.8Mb/s. Although I'll do a couple of speedtests when I get home. Edit: Talktalk also includes unlimited 01/02/03/0845/0870 call and line rental, which can cost around £100/year.
  5. Bought myself an new Echo SL 108 freewheel last week. Started to thread it on to my crank and I heard a rattle. Gave it a shake and it sounds like there are some loose bearings? I'm not completely sure of the construction of these freewheels, but the rattle doesn't sound right. Advice? Edit: The freewheel seems to turn by hand with no problem, and no I haven't ridden on it.
  6. The thread in the spindle is ruined sadly no thread cleaner will fix stripped threads. Went with the 'hit it as hard as you can' method to removed the spindle, worked a charm. Probably not the best way to do it if you want to save the spindle. I'll probably take it to my LBS to install the new BB.
  7. Right, When I was installing my cranks on my Echo BB (press fit type) I completely f**ked the inside thread on the spindle on one side. Going to have to get a new one. How do I go about removing, and installing the new one without breaking it again. From various YouTube videos it seems that most BMXers whack it with a hammer/mallet. Is this the best way?
  8. I really appreciated the 1080p in that video! Looks bad, hope it heals up soon!
  9. Check this video out on how to bath bleed your brakes, made by Revolver. Bath Bleeds
  10. Nice bikes, but I don't think there needed to be three different topics...
  11. I used Vans for a while and they were grippy enough. The only issue is that the outer material that rubbed on the cranks wore away quickly, so make sure you get ones that have proper leather material as this will not rub away so quickly. I have since moved on to using Duffs as these have leather material.
  12. If it's anything like Orkney there might be a lot of random natty stuff in fields and on the coast, the odd quarry (ask the locals), and there might be a few spots in Lerwick. If you can easily take your bike, take it and have a look about.
  13. In no order (apart from alphabetical?): Admiral Fallow - Boots Met My Face Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago Frightened Rabbit - The Midnight Organ Fight Frightened Rabbit - The Winter Of Mixed Drinks Los Campesinos! - Romance is Boring MGMT - Oracular Spectacular Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More The Temper Trap - Conditions Vampire Weekend - Contra Stereophonics - All their albums?
  14. The Shed idea is a great. On an unrelated note it seems that when you click on any advertising banner instead of leading to the relevant website it just links to the .gif
  15. Chains come in different widths (1/8", 3/32") to fit the sprockets that you are using. I would just buy a new chain that was the same width as your old one, if you don't know the size, or have thrown away the old chain you should try and measure the width of your sprockets and pick a chain that has the best fit.
  16. As the Onza Zoot has V-Brakes if you will need to buy a V-Brake adaptor such as this: Magura Evo2 Brake Adaptor
  17. +1 I've been using these for the last year or so and can't fault them at all, I can't remember a time that they have ever fallen out whilst riding. But remember, keep the volume low enough so you can hear traffic!
  18. Hey Chris There are a few of us in Edinburgh and we, usually, meet up at least every week depending if anyone organises anything. Although you could usually catch either myself or a guy called Chris (who I'm guessing you spoke to today on a blue 24" Inspired) around Bristo Square most evenings. Oh, and Johny doesn't work at the bike shop on Leith Walk any more, he's now at the one in Stockbridge I believe.
  19. I think Hulu have worked pretty hard to make sure that you can only view the videos within the US. What are you trying to watch, because there are many other website that have links to videos of US series that are not available in the UK.
  20. It all depends on how you ride. If you want very good bite and hold on the front wheel you should pop a harsh grind on. If, however, you want a bit of modulation either leave the rim as it is or put a light grind on which will reduce modulation slightly but help in wet or muddy conditions.
  21. Farnell, and RS are a good source of components. Try this: TIP120 Search I think this would be the best match: Multicomp TIP120 Darlington Transistor
  22. ...and could I possibly be unbanned
