  1. nearly as bad as mine son. think you should find this lad and take him for a coffee and tell him the error of his ways.
  2. if you are insisting on a disk, they suggest using a magura louise, and its set for a 180 disk. or a hope no.3 caliper. otherwise get a v brake and some heatsink yellows
  3. your booster is a cut down trialtech 4 bolt carbon jobbie, i know cos i have the same thing. the 4 bolt one is stiff as f**k
  4. so here`s how it went last night, all setup for a lovely night in with the girlfriend, bit of tea and some champers to see new year in, then she gets a call from her EX husband saying his dad is ill in the hospital and about to die. so what does she do? straight in the car to see him in floods of tears saying she was close to his parents and its summat she has to do. now if the boot was on the other foot and my EX rang me saying the same, it would be "you go out of that door don`t bother coming back". am i being selfish in saying its not her responsibility? because her being with me and not him surely would mean her being in with me on new years eve? i`m a little bit annoyed by it all, every time he calls her she comes back in floods of tears, and things haven`t been right since he phoned her saying he wanted her back in floods of tears. i don`t want it all to end and lose her cos i love her, but this is a pretty big thing. bit f**ked off with it all now.
  5. if i`m measuring it right, you put a straight edge across the 2 axle ends and measure the centre line to the centre of the bb. was just wondering like. yeah its got 100mm travel marzocchi dirtjam pros on, it is quite tall on the front. wasn`t reading into it too much, i`m a relative noob to trials and just wondered about it all. cheers from dan.
  6. quick geo notice, my zoo python mod is 1040wb and +75bb, and my dmr drone dj bike is 1035 wb and +45bb. i`ve done a measure on the bar height from the ground, and they are only 10mm different to the dmr`s favour. dmr is on 24" wheels, to say they are roughly the same geo, they ride very very differently. ok admittedly the dmr is heavier, but is still very hard to hop about on. i would have thought with the dmr having bigger wheels, it would have been ok to hop round on but this is not the case, my old onza hitman stock was +50bb, can`t remember wb, and that hopped around really well. just suprised more than owt, thought i`d share it. cheers from dan
  7. so far from our end me dan cox carl hopps(maybe) neil robby luke cockshott should be a right day
  8. might do, i`ll let you know sunday night. i`ll ask coxey as well.
  9. get a hw100. i used to have one with a walnut stock and it was the best gun i`ve ever used, bar an air arms EV2.
  10. i`ve got a weihrauch hw97k, with a nikko sterlink 6x16x50 scope on it. use it mainly for hft, and few little comps. puts out 11.5 ft lb consistently, and is very accurate.
  11. anyone out? got no kids, and can`t be arsed decorating. just fancy a nice chilled ride
  12. want want want, gimme one now.its well nice. oh and i`ll have one of those green hope brakes if you are offering lol
  13. yes, unless you want extreme amounts of ball ache, and you need the special avid hose insert for the lever end as well. another bleed kit might work, but for a good solid lever feel it needs to be done with 2 avid syringes. trust me, i run a juicy 7 on the front of my mod.
  14. if you hull lot (lol) are as good as the lads i rode with from hull/scunny in the summer, you should be fine on blue route. you don`t need forms, its all done online. i did green route last year, was my first season, and i`m the oldest there by quite a bit. you`ll have a right laugh
  15. i`ll be out for this one, couldn`t come out today unfortunately. christmas plans
  16. i`m in goole, is only half an hour away for me i`ll come out anytime.

    Pedals

gusset slimjims. never let me down in 10+years of riding. had em every time.
  18. bleed it first if that doesn`t work pump the pistons out with the lever and spray tome teflon based lube on, should coat the pistons and unstick them, whilst not eating away at the seals. always worked for me. try running an oil bleed for a bit if you running a water bleed, the system may need some lubrication inside the slaves.
  19. Well said dude. women are getting too big for their boots these days. All full of mistrust for even casting a glance in the direction of a hottie. Usually ends up in "i suppose you want to go shag HER then do you?", To which the reply is a very creeping "i`ve only got eyes for you my darling". Have you lads found its ok for a bird to speak to a bloke anytime, but when you want to speak to a girl you are trying to get in her panties? i could go on forever, but i`m not. rant over

    Me 'n My Zoo!

is the hope brake brand new? are the pads new also? if so it will need bedding in, and won`t grab as well as your bb7 until it is. A hope mono trial is miles better than a bb7 in my opinion.
  21. i`ve got gusset slimjim copys on mine, never let me down, well strong, good pins and grip, and were only a tenner from lbs
  22. our lass said "I bet he`s got a really small dick"
  23. my left knee is fooked, am off for surgery in the new year, according to the mri scan all the cartilage is wearing away to the point where bone is grinding on bone, and there is a piece floating round behind my kneecap. feels like someone is sticking a knife in and twisting it round. support and bandages to stop me twisting it help, but riding trials makes it worse. looking at at least a 3 month lay off the bike, then should be ok in time for the start of the trials cup
