    Snow -.-

no biking for me, go to the scrappers, get an old car bonnet, find a big hill or tie it to the back of the car and drag some lads round on it.
  5. only have this one little photo on mine, pointless doing the whole thing, plus i dont know how to do it anyway, any football fan will understand
  6. get a tin of winns brake cleaner if you work in halfords, blather the disk in it then set it on fire, job done. as he says, just boil the pads for 10 mins in a pan and watch the oil floating to the top.
  7. i`m dan, i`m 30 years old, been riding properly about 6 months now, after year of dicking about with other stuff. had various pieces of shite, before buying an onza hitman, then got rid of it and went to a zoo python mod. there is only me and 1 other lad in goole who ride trials, and he very rarely comes out. so i usually travel to hull or leeds depending who is out. i like beer, bikes, sex(when i get some)mighty leeds united, bit more beer and driving my car like its been nicked. i have a very low tolerance for bullshit and wankers, and like to tell people of this fact have a nice day. dan
  8. smokey and the bandit. for when you have just crimped off a big un, then a little pea drops out.
  9. boobie spaffing. love it. 10 points for an eye shot
  10. this is why its going to be shit, as it works the same way for motorbike brakes. the smaller bore master cylinder, the more outright power the brake will have, but at the expense of feel. the bigger the bore, the more modulation you will have but less power. this is why the echo would be more suited to trials, as it will have alot more bite. and by the way, never use water in disc brakes as it will boil from the heat and bugger the brake up.
  11. pm me your adress and i`ll post you the right pads, a 160mm front adaptor and a disk thats a bit secondhand if you want it.

    Pad Reviews

Pads:onza limes Time used:1 year Rim used:various, mainly echo 19"sl/26"sl Grind: Yes Ceraminc: n/a Brake used: 05 hs 33 What is your opinion of a working brake:grabby as fook and doesn`t slip How do they compare to previous pads you have used: much better than standard magura blacks, speaking as a novice who is new to trials and knows nowt. Review: i`m very happy with these pads, as i said being new to trials i`ve not had chance to try different ones out, but as these seem ok and me being a tight git i`m gonna stick with em for the moment until i come into some cash. the hold/bite/noise is very good, they have very little slippage, but this is probably due to my weight rather than the pad itself. i`ve used maguras for years on various bikes, mtbs to jump to trials so i know how to set them up right. i`ve been advised to try heatsink yellows by a mate, am gonna give em a go in the new year.
  13. it might not work as a clarkes brake is designed to work with dot 3/4 brake fluid, and a shimano brake is designed to work with mineral oil.
  14. not had any experience with goodridge pads, i would imagine that they being ceramic, would be good for very high heat applications ie proper dh, and don`t understand magura product codes as they are usually in german. my suggestion would be to get a shimano brake and get some resins, as it will be better than the clarkes brake. or just cough up and get a hope

    26" Girl Rider

i want this girl to be my wife. i`ll say even if no one else has the cojones to.
  16. i`ve got these the top one is a 05 zoo python, proper trials bike. The bottom one is a 2011 dmr drone, but with dirtjam pros on it. as standard they come with rigids, but is quite heavy, and has very little bb rise, therefore would be not right good for trials. you are better off getting a 20", as i did as a novice, or save up for a zoot. don`t get a park/dj bike, the geo is all wrong, and will be too heavy. i only paid £80 for my zoo, so look about, you`ll find summat half decent for your budget.
  17. i`ve got one of these on my jump bike, and i wouldn`t use it for trials due to the fact it has no initial bite, it is made for dh/freeride ie trail braking. resin pads are not very good for thid, and wouldn`t last a day. resin are miles better for trials, due to them being softer. i`m running an avid juicy 7 with organic pads and its awesome now i bedded it in right. the pads you mention are sintered, not resin/organic, and only really work with a lot of heat in em. see below for the difference. top set are shimano resin ones, bottom are clarkes sintered hope this helps
  18. just had another one, it were like a mr whippy. the dead pool (dirty harry movie)

    My Zoo Python

tried em rolled forward, couldn`t get on with it, thought my body was too far forward. besides until i learn to pedalhop i`m keeping them like this as i`ll probably not notice the benefit.
  20. this is my zoo python, its an 05 i think, only paid 80 sheets for it, and all the stuff i`ve done to has cost me less than £200, including buying the bike. spec as follows 05 python frame onza 160mm cranks tensile ff freewheel avid juicy 7 front brake, with organic pads hs33 on rear, with onza lime pads funn slimline bars gusset slimjim pedals schwalbe jumping jack frony tyre, maxxis creepy crawler rear green clarkes grips heavy onza forks, think they are t-pros it`s a bit scratched like, but for the money i paid i`m not complaining, and my skill level being what it is, it`s probably for the best. cheers from dan
  21. Boredom on the night shift is how lol
  22. End of the day we all know people can be cocks when we ride on their turf, whenever the time. It's just we have to be the bigger people and not be cocks back. It makes us look like the rest of the scallywags when we gob back. This isn't a dig at anyone, more like gentle advice.
  23. Went to hamsterly forest for the first time, was absolutely ace. Went on my 24" hard tail dmr, was a riot. Never had a better days riding in my life.
