  1. after removing my beasty 24/7 dark angels and bb the back end of my bike is still colossaly heavy! the rear wheel is heavier than the rest of the bike put 2getha lol think ill just bite the bullet and get 2 new wheels!
  2. yeah i get you. i think my old headset was cut like that! not a prob. ill have a go in a bit, cutting wont be a problem! edit - forks are done lovely now! thanks but those spacers on the bb seem to be part of the axle arrangment. I think its just my tool that is a bit thick on the inner radius so it wont clear them. ill pop around the local shops see if they have any i can borrow / buy 2mo.
  3. on point 2 you mean "cut through" or "just a slot"? i know what your getting at though as its only like a mm away from going right down. what about carefully filing away some if the inner edge of the crown race with a round file?
  4. trust me to have a cog with no holes in it! lol good idea though! im only looking to do it as a temp stop gap. if and when i get a new hub ill replace the rim etc also but dont want to build a new wheel with my old rim as its got slight flat spots and buckles. + ive not got the moolah after soem recent part purchases! ill see what i can do with it!
  5. learn to do stuff 2 the right! i know i know easier said than done lol
  6. basicly just an idea i had to lock my old pro 2 in an "engaged" position , effectivly making it a fixed hub so i can go for a free wheel on the front without splashing out for a new rear hub / wheel.
  7. realy nice riding mate. i havnt got the bottle to do some of that higher stuff you do lol (i can do it but pussy out lol) how old are you bud? star of the future comes to mind?
  8. You mean on the widecombe side of haytor? Anyways im riding exeter now with a couple of m8's so wont make it this time. was up dartmoor yesterday, riding merriville quarry!
  9. i know how long these things take to produce but within reason most companies would oreder new stock before the old runs out, unless the manufacturers are completly replacing there ranges then it makes sence to wait for the new versions.
  10. So ive noticed alot of the top brand stuff is sold out and/or on order at most of the top trials parts websites and have been for over a month in most cases.(at least the parts i want which granted are popular). Im just wondering the reason for such a long turnaround time on new parts, surely if they are popular they would pump them out the production line. IS it metal prices or something similar?
  11. i love that hook technique on such small edges! do you think he gets through alot of forks though? lol
  12. it could have been an even shorter video! lol
  13. id love to have access to your bike shop! my local wants £40 to build a wheel! lol i said can i just borrow your truing stand for an hour then and they said no it would cost them in workshop time so it would still be £40 lol anyways i digres! to the point. yeah you want a pro 2 etc for trials to be honest. im looking to get the new pro 2 t evo soon so if your interested ill sell my pro 2 (2005 model?) to you for £50. still works a treat i just want the upgraded version with more ratchet points.
  14. that very last drop = winner! ouch
  15. mice video! i like bail shots aswell, it shows real riding! lol
  16. Quality m8! ill be down plymouth on the 17th for the ride! more madness expected!
  17. Ill have to save my money then! till they are back in stock just have to keep on with the heavy bike! lol
  18. think ive pritty much decided im getting some! and new cranks. probly rs7's. only problem is i usually shop at tarty and both those products have been on order for months it seems lol ill give the guys a ring tommorrow!
  19. i was looking at something like trial tech sports which are 900g - (4 bolt mount) obviously they are going to be lighter! but by how much? i will take your 1.3kg estimate and make it 1.5kg for the 26 version and compare the weights. if the difference is not that much id rather stick with my trusty fall guys as im practicing frint wheel climbing alot lately lol
  20. Hi guys, trying to find out the weight of some old forks i run but cant find any specs online and the onza site just has pictures with no relevent info. forks im looking at are my Onza Fall Guy 26 forks. basicly i want to compare the weight of these with some new forks to see what the difference would be, trying to do this without dismantling the front end of my bike for now lol
