  1. trial tech sport are good, especially if your running maggy rim brakes up front (ive been told) no flex when braking (non ive noticed) meaning longer life of the material around the mounts. If your running disc then im not sure, you could always get trial tech sport (disc only)
  2. my bad thought they were carbon. the bike looks realy nice though i was just concerned it would break! lol
  3. carbon forks? i hope this bike is just for show! lol
  4. so your actually guna use it for climbing ? or just for protection?
  5. no reason it wount work the same as tnn's idea, aslong as they are glued in properly.
  6. True! I put mine in for a better chain line because im using a longer BB with inbuild spacers. stil the spacer is only 1.7mm.

  9. ive just fitted an echo sl to my 170mm's about half hour ago with a tarty brand bashguard + a trial tech freewheel spacer, the bash and spacer are probably 5 or 6mm and the echo went on lovely. if the threads are shorter on the 160/165's it would go on but just wouldnt be as strong, remeber under pressure the freewheel would try and twist off the threads wereas if it is screwed right on there is no leverage when it tries to twist. realy its a case of do you want to risk it. possible outcomes *it all works and your good! *your hurt yourself when the freewheel pulls off at the top of a 15 ft wall + you will need a new crank arm and possibly freewheel + any other parts that get damaged in the fall! lol :) :)
  10. glue a bit of aluminium to you free wheel and hope for the best! lol
  11. i would double check! but im sure i read that there are not as many threads or they are not threded (165mm version), but dont just take my word for it check a mmore reliable source. im sure you can run a freewheel but mabye it wasnt recommended to run a bash aswell because of the lack of threads. basicly work it out this way... can you get a bash on and still have at least 7 threads for the freewwheel to screw on?
  12. there are probably a million water bleeding threads, remind me of the cons again?
  13. if its brand new i would just use the oil it comes with and worry about bleeding in a years time!
  14. looks wicked! guna have a million trials vids filmed from wheel view on here now! lol + impressed with the sound quality!
  15. on these particular cranks there is a note saying that you may have difficulties fitting bashguards on the 165mm versions with a freewheel. I know ive just bought some (170mm) i was guna provide a link but the page for those cranks isnt there anymore lol
  16. surely if your going to have to start clipping and securing the top of that mount it would be much easier and lighter if you designed a universal magura clip/bolt on mount rather than having all the excess attached down to the axle etc. the only problem i could see then is how you would get around the fact that the rears of most frames are considerably different in shape and size.
  17. 165 is probaly a no go then, you should realy give proper specs when you ask questions like this or it goes round in circles before ou get a proper answer lol

positive chi is good! if i stop and look at a wall or section and think hmm what if i fell off that or didnt make it and dented my bike i never do it and never improve. so now i ride striat into walls not fearing the consiquences! lol
  19. very good riding! like the smooth technique on the rear wheel!
  20. its like people who think traction control will stop them wiping out on corners if they take them at 90 lol Or that think they can ride alloy trials bikes like BMX's lol
  21. +1 i only go to my local bmx shop for workshop stuff. cuz the guys there are pro bmx 'ers and know there trade. the local mountain bike shop is just old men who ride road bikes lol

Ot Pi (sorry spelling lol) what a legend! lol
  23. lol what they are trying to say is you should have bought the other one and put the parts on a pro frame! lol p.s ride the heavy bike for practice (unless your going strait to comps)and you'll find you have improved loads when you get the lighter setup.
