do you mean the crank bolt? +what type of crank is it. square taper , isis etc?
-
you up at section 1 2mo? ill take a look at them if you are m8. p.s i run a middleburn 5 bolt 20t chainring aswell now so no compatability probs apart from possibly the middleburn bash being chunky and not getting as close in on the bb as i would like but like i say id have to take a look. but i thinkmi said earlier it would mean forks aswell at the same time or my bike wouldnt feel at al balanced lol so not in the best position to get them now realy. i appreciate the offers though.
-
Which makes me wonder why u are selling them? lol
-
yeah i know they are lifetime guarantee but you have to go back through the place you bought them from for the guarantee to work. you cant pass them on through 10 owners and then send them back you need the reciept and proof of ownership etc dont you?
-
thanks for the info and thanks for the offer of the cranks but im one of them people whos funn about second hand (major parts) for my bike lol Id rather pay full whack and know ive got all the manufacturers guarantees thanks all the same though

ah sweet that carpark loks alot cheaper then the ones on the park itself! ideal!
-
Cant wait for this! cya all 2mo! p.s any idea were most people are parking? i see there are numerous car parks around castle park but which one is best?
-
problem is i tend to snap frks lol last time i had alloys i snapped 2 sets clean off just abouve brake mounts lol Granted they probably were not the best forks in the world! Well ill have to save up. p.s walst we are on the subject are isis drive bottom brackets an industry standard size? so for example will middleburn isis fit on my current 24/7 isis bb?

i dont c what the father has actually meant to have done? he's saying go go go to let the kid know to stay on the power. if he doesnt he will fall off and hurt himself. other than that i dont c wats wrong. if he was beating him because he would go out on his trials bike you may have a point but i dont think thats the case.
-
to be honest if i had a trials bike and a motorbike when i was 4 id would have been made up! i also dont see anything wrong with strong encouragement. yes there are limits but sometimes its better to train kids in something they enjoy or kids just end up sat infront of the tv or playing video games. The amount of kids i know that have no practical knowledge of how to use tools etc and solve practical problems for themselves these days astounds me! crack on kid im sure we will cya in the comps in a few years time!

that was a legendary video! sod the trials bike i just built im gettin the old school HUFFY bmx out! lol watch me break my neck lol

i can 360 static on my stock now. wonder how far i could get around on a mod these days?!
-
No this is not an add for penis enlargment lol anyways.... So ive been rebuilding my limey 3 26 build with a different handling and drivetrain set up and you wouldnt beleive the difference in the feel of the bike. firstly i downsizes the front chainring and rear sprocket, maintaining the gear ratio. was 22 - 18. now its 20 - 16. i did this so i could set up the BB spacing closer into the frame. (my cranks are actually spaced properly now lol) This meant i could could shorten the chain which in tern meant the wheel was mounted further up the rear dropouts (nearly a full inch closer to frame) The other modifications i made were also the stem and bars. was running a 130mm trial tech 25 degree stem with onza carbon flat bars . now ive gone for a trial tech 120mm 17 degree stem and some nice riser bars which has obviously changed the feel of the bike. I now feel comfortable when sidehopping from back wheel etc all in all the bike feels shorter. more responsive and i can hop higher because im in a better position on the back wheel. A couple of inches can make a difference!! if only i had set it up this way when i bought it lol now i just need to replace my 4kg threepiece cranks and heavy forks and ill have a trials bike lol
-
cuz u can pick up a nice lil mod (not top of the range) quite cheaply these days! ideal for beginners. Stock you realy need a decent one or its just 2 heavy and big to learn on (IMO) p.s i ride stock lol
-
all sorted and fixed. end of discussion lol
-
only issue i can see is that i only have one syringe. ill have to prop the back wheel up and fill it in reverse lol should still work though as long as the oil drains out of the highest point.
-
ah you see it would help if i got a manual with the brakes! legend thanks!
-
right ive looked more clodely at the level bleed port and i removed the little black cap but what now? there are no grub screms behind it? surely there is a bleed kit for this brake right?
-
right so can you get bleed fittings for the lever? i will have to bleed them at some point. may have to do my overfill trick on the back aswell. i like nice tight levels lol
-
you mean you side hopped 5 heavy duty pad locks? epic!!! lol
-
right another question. when i shorten the hoses i wanted 2 check first that the bleed fittings are the same size as the old style?
-
thanks for the replys guys. im NOT setting the brake up with the adjusters! im just fiddling around so i know how much pad life i can get when my pads do wear down. TNN LGMS dont come cheap so the longer i can use them the better! although a bodge may be needed with my thin rims lol
