the narrower a chain the more bending tension is on the pin. try to pull a metal rod of i.e. 2mm that is fixed at both ends to bend it in the middle, you´ll do it with one finger. try it near the fixation points and you´ll not bend it,even when its longer.i know that sounds wrong but... in theory its basically as you said, but in real life it happens to be this way :wink2:

everyones different.but i for my part wouldnt want to literally walk on my hands when on 2 wheels lol for the second i hate the thought of not riding a real bicycle haha dear passengers, stay seated till we aproached the airport

1/8" is more resistant due to the width.

you must take into account how expensive living in different countries is. i have to charge 50 euro for a wheel build, otherwise it wouldnt be worth it

end up in the wrong hole. happens to me all the time when i´m drunk but not at wheel building :wink2: sorry i tried to resist but i couldnt

you have to add a "still" between the "stan is" and the "rough as!",and to tag a new one on another sidehop box. just write it on every obstacle he nailed,so you´ll know when its time to rebuild everything cos its all been done already... just joking it was very nice to watch and i thought of how to express this and above is the outcome

isnt that the way diamond grinding discs are made? diamond dust or similar stuff mixed with a special cyanoacrylate glue ganulate sprayed through a plasma "flame",melting dowmn on the surface? i think it could be something someone can do himself... hmmmm.... edit:googled this, theyre sintered.

my boss can be glad to have a trial(ish) rider working for him with me,i´ll never do such a f...k job haha. someone who´s "trained" is only trained in normal bicycle mechanics, that includes taking off a shimano freewheel. if that thing was on there for years it seems like its welded on.so you have to use the wrapped chain method. our senior boss(67 yrs old, works as a bicycle mechanic since he could walk)knew the method, and he has never seen a trialsy bike but mine(cassette hub). that makes the difference between mechanics:do you just do your job,or do you have some passion for the matter...

i didnt say: "come on,join the thread, load your sh... off here!" i tried to help. sure i´d not try it in that way again. the thread started about marino searching a team rider, and through new fork models and a few pics to calm down people wich are waiting for too long it went a way nobody has seen coming. someone,i think seabasss postet bad rep, people jumped on that train and so on. nonono peace everybody make rides not war and again:whats your intention to not let the lion sleep here`? -
i´ve heard there are people who ride street with brakes, honestly

i think its still a big mayority of riders who are glad they ordered a marino frame. for certain reasons(wich werent marinos fault in any way) my frame was in progress since summer, and i´d never complain about. this beautiful piece of welded metal is the manifestation of what i am ridingwise, and if it had to be that long to get it all perfect i would´ve been waiting even longer! to clear things: aprox. building time is 4 weeks to 4 months though, and thats pretty quick compared to triton ,rcp and others. positive feedback is told poorly, negative feedback is massively blown out. but thats just human :wink2: -

you didnt order a frame, you arent waiting for anything and you werent disappointed by marino in any way, whats your intention of whinging about it? friends help each other,he was in trouble to reply to 50+ mails a day,and i did this here on my own. bitch me if you want, but not someone you not even know a little. just my opinion,if you feel offended by it.... he´ll make a new start and he will get on with what he loves. in peru. -

i´m not intending to commercialize this, josh.but if,i would offer a donation without even thinking about it. :wink2: also marino denied my offer to do this just a minute ago,he´ll get an employee for this purpose and doesnt want his friends to do it for free. time for a voluntary "marino frame progress collection thread" others could do one for jaf, i´d like it :wink2: -
