  1. to get to the recovery screen on an andoid device you have to take the battery out,put it back in and start the device by pressing volume down and on/off until the screen appears. rooting your phone does help alot, mines rooted and i can even tell my os not to listen on certain ports and everything
  2. nice, seems like theres a pretty long front triangle
  3. if your frame has the same mounts as the fork i´d recommend using the black mounts.if so,get a decent brake booster for the rear brake, thats how the "brace"is really called. theyre much beefier than the original magure booster and give a stiffer braking feel. also i´d recommend the search function, those kinds of topics are really often here
  4. there are lockring that are serrated, there are ones with a spring ring to secure it.theres alu, theres steel, theres even ti
  5. only 36 hole alternatives i know are dj/street rims like dartmoor raider, atomlab gi,and rigida bigbull. dmr deevee maybe
  6. what rim width are you looking for? 36/32 doesnt work...
  7. cmon, are you really that bad in mechanics?align the sprocket with the chainline, simples. usually the lockrings are part of a cassette/ss kit,so it kind of fits the serration(right word?) on the part its sitting against. they would have to produce lockrings by themselves that probably dont even fit your setup, would be the only hassle with an otherwise perfect product
  8. morning guys. ok,youre really welding in high industrial standard, thats true! now i´m even more looking forward to see that welds on a frame, crazy accuracy right there
  9. does yours? never heard of you being some kind of technical aknowledged guy either,so whats the point?
  10. and now an example pic with a 0.6mm wall thickness part... ...joking,looking forward to see something you built, awesome weld on the pic
  11. wait, jaf is completely out of business?
  12. i shouldve been doing some gettalented stuff before enteríng,atm its just clips for a normal riding vid, damn!
  13. hey,i´m here,to illuminate you all with my knowledge about bicycle technics, because thats what my apprenticeship was aiming for,to get me having a clue . youre both right in your own way,in much cases experience lets you open the drawer with the right spokes without even thinking about it,in others you only get the perfect result only by going the way step-by-step,measure and calculate everything(and i learned to do it by amathematical formula). the difference for me,in my job,as my profession is that one way is going to just "work out as...",where the other "is.." the (more or less)desired result. i think its kind of a mindset you have to have when doing it professionally, but you can get a good "private result",too, its just not perfect. dont confuse wheelbuilding with building a wheel, people which do it professionally will get what i mean with that edit:and reusing spokes just to get away cheap will only lead you to lacing it again in my experience
  14. they flex a fair bit due to the heat treatment,it seems to add a good amount of elasticity.i have one of the new ones too,i´m far away from riding like ross but do much to-front stuff since a while, becaus i´m practising that a lot. zosters wasnt heat treated, and in that weight range its pretty important to do it(in my opinion) to be honest i´m surprised how they hold up until now, with 1010g i didnt expect much life from them... i think the heat treatment makes the difference in this case
  15. you should add to your topic title that someone in this trials forum shouldnt buy "polo" or "fixed" forks.
  16. man,is it so funny for all you guys here that i am interested in whats going on with marinos products? i´m riding that stuff for myself. its just that i´ve heard from or seen dozens of establish trials brands forks snapped, and this is the first marino fork. maybe at some point mine´ll snap too,but nothing lasts forever,i´ll see. theres so much questions as "how old were those forks" and "what did he do to his forks before his mate did a small bh"(like hooking and stuff),to ask, before i find it acceptable to slate marino for producing stuff that doesnt last forever,as none of the others products do. sorry for your mate though, hope he´ll be fine soon
  17. did you contact marino about that yet? edit:and yeah, dont buy echo, bonz and any other stuff.it could crack, probably.
  18. thanks for the advice guys,i´ll try it that way next time i´m out on the bike.
  19. its probably cracked anyway.... ...sorry,couldnt resist that joke to be honest,i think this one would survive longer, long seattubes make a more stable frame imo
