  1. What channel is this on Tom? I seen it once (I think) One of the men was like begging his daughter for some money or something similar, recently got V Box in my room, I'm guessing 210+'s like quest, discovery, ect?
  2. http://www.observedtrials.net/trials-bikes/nicki-78.html Nick Cookes looks okay, I just don't like the fork/ste/bar combo of a trials bike on a seated/bmx looking frame, looks odd. What brakes are you going to run? edit - Can see it ending up like matty turners 'Inspired' but with a shorter stem. edit 2 - would be good if it looked like this too - http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1280&bih=696&authuser=0&tbm=isch&tbnid=tsdr8IvzChNd1M:&imgrefurl=http://spinwell.co.uk/tag/scooter/&docid=5TKMTY1VozBGGM&imgurl=http://spinwell.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/bikecheck.jpg&w=1000&h=750&ei=W2svUNvFJqza0QXBvYDoDA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=185&vpy=161&dur=1169&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=139&ty=109&sig=103002618154457279540&page=1&tbnh=157&tbnw=189&start=0&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:73 - sort of like the old 24" Echo urban frame, but as a 20"
  3. If you comment within 5 minutes of a post and no one else posts, it just adds on, so it was, but wasnt an edit make sense?
  4. Always liked watching freerunning, but this is a new level of skill! - edit - I know it is backwards..
  5. It may not be square when everything goes on, frame, headset, stem, putting more pressure on one point, forcing more stress points in one area forcing it to break, that may just be my thought though!
  6. It depends, do you know the current geo of your bars?
  7. Stripping it must have made the weight come down a little too Cranks next, look a little out of place, even if there is a black/silver theme going on.
  8. I'm not fussed about the lenght because of the way it clamps ect, I want to try the stem at diffrent heights ect, and if you end up paying that amount of money you are being a fool!
  9. Was thinking around 20-30mm, could go up to 50mm, if I want, I think it may be too high though? But I do need to find the correct height.
  10. Don't know yet mate

  11. So, my steerer on my forks is rather short at 167mm at the shortest and 173mm at the highest point (sloped top) I can't run any stackers, and the top of the forks only just hits the top of the stem. I really want to be able to figure out a good height for my stem to sit at, but obvioulsy can't due to not being able to. Was speaking to Josh @ JAF Bikes about it and he said he would be able to do it, when he gets a lathe, I would also want my forks flatening at the top and would need the forks re-tapping, trialtechs with a starnut. I also seen on OTN, that it wasn't a good idea to run an extension, anyone run one on here? Thanks.
  12. My hightops broke a few weeks ago, I say broke more like fell apart :L Didn't actually think of that, cheers sam!
  13. Think I may start my GET entry again, most of the clips I have are rather shocking but one. Think I will just have a few sessions in Liverpool to get al the footage I want/need!

  14. They don't look like 2012's to be honest, disc only, unless you bought them somewhere else other than Tarty, there is no way they are 2012's, unless they stocked them for a short time, or you cut off 4 bolt / v mounts off? edit *Tarty...
  15. So I have this injury on my ankle, from crank rubbing, pedal kicks, hops ect. It keeps on scabbing over and then like yesterday I managed to pick it (not me the crank) I had a plaster on it, just to help protect a little, but now I keep on knocking it on everything (being a clumsy person I tend to hit my feet alot!) I would get ankle protectors or something, but I wear short socks whenever I ride so dont want to look like a fool. So any tips on protecting it would be appreciated. edit - I have tryed just leaving it to heal, but it just keeps on getting knocked about, Cheers!
  16. So much effort wet and drying forks, only done half of one leg though, bring on tomorrow!

  17. Depends on what size the current axle is on the bottom bracket.
  18. Personally think you should spray the dt protector, then when the front mag goes on, grind the front rim and get some black tape on there, maybe raw the rims too, don't think it will be too much silver! Other than that looks nice, bet that is a good stem/bar/frame combo too!
  19. Don't ride JMCD, it may feel fine, but you could damage it more, therefore making you out of riding for an even longer time. Not worth it at all. edit - snaked.. :L
  20. Alright, yeah sounds good man, keep in touch and keep a lookout on the forums dude!

    1. JonnoDB

      JonnoDB

Sweet! You out in Liverpool any days this week? Would be good to get out riding and it's just a quick train ride into Lime Street.

And once I figure out how to use this properly I'll be on the forums a lot ahaha

  21. Yours at the back, I recognise that dt protector, plus that comment helped a little too!
  22. With the V Booster, I guess if your booster is 4 bolt, I guess you could do it. Excuse the poorly drawn drawing.. edit - just seen you are talking about a 2 bolt, thought I would share anyway as this masterpiece took me 5 minutes!
  23. Weather is sounding a little nicer than what I thought it would have been. Its been alot nicer in Birkenhead, accros the water from Liverpool, so should be good. Confirmed amount of people that are going and who? Name a time and place aswell mate
  24. Ahh, just beacause the Echo is in the back ground I thought maybe, whatever aha!
