  1. Put say where it says 'Try-All' on the tyre side wall, next to the valve, so say for instance it is pitch black you will be able to find it quickly, and it looks neater.
  2. Old thread was full of me moaning about a problem, so thought I would make a new one! Spec - Onza Comp 2010 Frame Headtube cut out, bash mounts cut out, maggy mounts cut out and rawed Trialtech Sport Forks Rawed, attemted to polish, still dull! 3. Didnt do the driveside cranks to its maximum on the back, couldnt get to it that well... Hope hub proving to be rather tough! Changing batch after had some lunch, hopefully should do the trick! Serious opinions on wether to do the forks or rear wheel? Or both! Posted at the same time as me broo! Doing cleaning up with wire wool, cloth and some polish when everything is done.
  4. Should I change the batch that I am using now when I go to do the cranks? Done the front rim, just having a quick break, then back to it! Opinions on what else I should do? Forks, rear wheel, anything else? Ignored what you said about the spokes Ali, only because I had already done them, but they survived! Cheers.
  5. OT - there is also a 30, used on the mini master from 2010.
  6. £799 brand new if not more, second hand, I doubt you will get one right about now.
  7. Some of your posts that I have seen from you are strange, you have to be a troll. Love Callum xoxo
  8. I think I want a pure compy type build when I get that kind of money, singlewalled rims, dual disc, carbon and ti, ect.

Well I have no meny atm, so staying with out any brakes for a while, and no magura mounts on my comp so would be impossible, if I wanted to.

Ah your wanting to keep the same frame.

      Discs are still great.

  9. The rim is anodised, the spokes I don't know about and the hub is a Hope bulb? I think. I may do the spokes or if there is enough (ordered 1kg of it) i may just do it in a small bath and dip the whole of the wheel in, then scrub it till its silver. also may just do the rear Echo TR rim, again if there is enough! Thanks for everything!
  10. Okay, just ordered some now, d'you think I will be able do the front hub too? Like again without getting it on the spokes? Wrap the spokes with tape or something, idk?
  11. Rather sick, but oh my godd!
  12. 1.25 looks like a great spot to pull some techy stuff! Some pretty big up to rears in this too.
  13. Don't think it's an accomplishment but managed to brake a tyre :L I think, if i'm not wrong there is a wire running through the edge of the sidewall? If not then something is reaaaly wedged in there. Had to put an old half slicked tyre on... Will there be a way to 'fix the old tyre? EDIT - Forgot to put the pictures up?!
  14. Ordering some tomorrow then, will post pics ect. Cheers!
  15. +1 Was a good read about the small roadtrip too!
  16. Did you buy it secondhand? If not why dont you tell them where you got it, then you may be able to get one from the warranty?
  17. How would I go about doing that front wheel though, thats the main question here?
  18. Thinking on rawing some stuff too?
  19. So I have had this thought in the back of my head for a while, rawing some parts. I want loads of new parts but money is tight, so I thought maybe just raw the front wheel, for now, as I don't like the blue and it would look a little nicer. So this is the stuff I would use (http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-Caustic-Soda-500g_923900/) but as the front wheel has a grind would that effect anything, and I wouldnt take it apart, so would a plastic bag do the trick, over the spokes? I think I would also go over the cranks and the forks as there rather battered. How many bottles do you think I would need? And then when I eventually get a job, I would do it up how I really want it! Thanks. EDIT - If anyone could like mock it up on photoshop, would appreciate it.
