WHERE THE HELL CAN I GET SOME STICKERS?!
-
I've made a review of the magrua mt2, the brake is sick and is FAAAAR better than any hope brake I've tried. I have a mechanical disc brake on front which is really similar to the bb7, I'd say get the magura mt2 180 or 203 mm:)

Jesus!! I've never said that I was going to drill my frame! Im NOT going to. I asked for a cheap way to trim the bikes weight down because I know the difference of a light and a heavy bike. And a light makes everything easier. The only mod I might be doing is to cut of knobbs on my tyres. Otherwise buy new parts. And Yeah totally agreing in the 3 comments above me. Didn't wan't this to end up like a big discussion, just wan't to CHEAP SAVE SOME WEIGHT OF MY BIKE. Made that caps so it's obvius now.

hmmm... Wasting my time...? My bike doesn't even have a back brake since it started to leak and I'm not going to ride without one. And if I could shed like 500-700 grams of the bike, which I can, it would make a big difference. And you know it. I'm not thinking of shedding of like 10grams, If i change to Try-all tyres front and rear I would save like 500 grams which is pretty much imo. That was just an example. That was my main reason I wanted to try to mod my tyres.
-
Yeah that was my thought too:) But do you know how much I would save front and rear? So I thought I'd gave you my ansvers under your tips:)
-
Haha yeah how much did you save? And I'm pretty tempted to cut away some of the knobs on the tyre?
-
Yo! So I wan't to trim my bike weight down a tad as cheap as possible. I know tyres and wheels is a good place to start, but since I get my maxxis creepy crawlers for free from sponsorship I think it's unnecessary to pay for new tyres. And I have 3 sets too... So can I maybe modify the tyres (front and rear) and save some weight tyres wise? And is there somewhere else I can easy and cheap shed some weight of? Cheers! Current weight is: 9,5 kg! Though I share a pic so it's easier to know what I'm talking about:)

Very nice build! What's the weight of it?
-
Ah hahah actually I hate them, but they seem to work well for some. It should be:)

Well heatsink yellows is shit pads too, they're only good with a sharp sharp grind thats brand new, they go shite after 10 minutes again. So yeah buy some GOOD pads. and set it up well, grind your rim again and bam you have a awesome brake! Awaiting comments from heatsink yellow fan boys.

I've always been in love with that frame, it's soooo nice!
-
It does to me since I know how a well setup vee feels like:)
-
Can partly agree with you ghostrider, but partly not. My setup with pretty "standard" tektro arms, avid speed dial 7 lever, and rockman blue pads where far more superior than my maggy where. It where loud as f*ck and bitey to. And i ran my maggy with booster, and my vee's without. So yeah, i think it's pretty much up to the pads.

I would probably learn to backwheel hop first, and try to get the hang of balance moves to as these are good basics. Try to get a few pallets and just try to get up on them. Have a blast really. Look on http://www.trashzen.com/ for more proffesional tips. And do the things you enjoy:) BUT, Don't actually "train" on doing some moves to get better etc, just try out things and have fun! I have a mate who bought a bike just because he thought my riding where cool, he wen't out and really trained his arse of trying to get the hang of some moves for a short time, well... He's now bike-less and are pretty good on video games, I suppose you know what i mean Happy riding:)
-
Or maybe, your previous setup only worked well because of it actually where on the front..? In my opinion you need badass brakepads on the rear and a nice grind too. While the setup on the front with pads, grind etc, aren't as important. I would basically say, your problem is that you use shit onza pads, get some TNN's or something among the lines, and a get a nice grind. Job done.

Holy shit... That was sick! Shame about the poor quality but the riding deffo mae up for that! Crazy asian people...
-
nice riding! You might want to edit it a tad more and film with a better camera. But we all start somewhere, and practise makes perfect:) Nice bike to! How long have you been riding?
-
The sound is awesome? Just man-up and start like it haha! I've just changed to dual disc and miss the sound
-
True that! Just mentioned it:)
-
Do it! Or atleast on the rear which i did! So nice to setup and where really stiff even without booster, and really good peformance!
-
Jake, It's out of stock.... One of my mate is also looking for one..
-
I have the rockmans now and have had the neons before. The neons suck! They slip all the time, and I really gave them a chance! The rockmans are really good, never slips. BUT they don't have the same adjustments as the neon ones because of the big groves.

Holy shitballs!

I think that you may have ridden over glass or something sharp which is now in your tyre cutting holes in your tubes. Because I can't really see how you otherwise would get THAT much punctures. Or you might have a hole in the tyre. Take it off and look on both inside and outside. What tubes and tyres do you use? I've only had ONE puncture under my whole "trials career". And that was when I had a whole in my tyre. Btw I do run lightweight tubes to. I think that you should save up too brakes and rotors and forks:) Would be a nice build then:)
