Been meaning to get one for a few years now, never done any mountain biking before, i had a specialized camber fsr elite about 6 years ago, i liked it but didnt use it for its purpose just did wheelies. A few friends have recently got them so i want to try it out. Budget is £2000 preferably less. My mate just got a cube 160hpa and it looks really good, nice spec and £1600 in sales. I have been advised against cubes by someone who works at a bike shop, he said linkage pivots go on them and a few frames have had to be wrote off due to this. He said trek or giant for reliability. The giants and treks in my budget dont look that great, and i dont really like the colour schemes. I think id like 27.5 wheelsize, does anyone have experience of 27.5+ tyres? Looks like it could be fun. So far i really like the look of Cube 150hpa 27.5+ Commencal meta sx On one codeine Any suggestions?
