  1. Whats with all the beef, like the root of it? Not the lighter component question but the aggro behind it
  2. I think your style has to do with how long you've been riding. I'm all about the TGS, but thats because I'm riding about a year and a half. If I had been riding five years, I might feel differently about it, because I'd have had enough of TGS
  3. Pretty much yeah as the other lads said. It's still new in the trials world (carbon fibre) and people can become superstitious about it.
  4. Tell your mates that they don't know what they're on about
  5. I see what you did there.......
  6. To be fair, we hadn't seen her face:)
  7. Genes have nothing to do with riding in general. If you are programmed genetically to be strong and quick and fast, then that skill set is applicable to anything, not just trials. Jack Carthy could be an unreal rugby player, having never even heard of trials. And even if you do win the genetic jackpot, you can still f**k it up, by not being dedicated. So, if I believe I can be amazing, and I train and ride like none other, then I could become champion. Gilles Coustellier has a good family background of trials, started young and progressed due to dedication and a passion for trials, that's what makes him so excellent.
  8. He's not unreal. The riding and edit weren't anything special. That being said, it wasn't bad. Posting an appraisal of his riding like that is bound to be received badly, it just comes off as arrogant.
  9. could be useful in the biu, with a wider area meaning more stability
  10. looks more like steroids and addiction to wanking, in popeyes case.
  11. used to ride nearly every sunday, but my dad got bored of going out and sitting in a van for 3 hours while I rode trials. So I just kinda stopped. I want to get back into it anyway, is the main point.
  12. Ok well this has gotten out of hand.
  13. Ah sure why not? It's only a bit of banter
  14. And it looks like she'll be a bit better in other aspects...........
  15. A bit of a f**k up on my part, for the link. As for the content, I don't know this forums limits
  16. you it's fairly common. The resin is just a protective layer, and scratches fairly easy.
  17. Yeah that's little fractures in the resin, like on glass. Its fine. When you start to get gouges or scratches that you can feel distinctly on the bar, Then you might need to worry
  18. Well it's very diffcult to tell if you have, and what I said in my post was you'll find out if its cracked, when it snaps from the crack. But don't worry too much. As most likely you have cracked a bit of the resin from the clamp presuure, which is fine. You won't snap your bars from that. As far as I can tell from your vids, your not heavy and not much of a basher, so its very unlikely you'll have done any structural damage to the bar. Just get pics up and we'll see if you need to worry
  19. This topic has a lot of potential to cause problems.
  20. It should be alright, as long as it's purely cosmetic. If you have cracked the carbon, you'll find out fairly soon so be careful
