cool - cheers for the response guys! surprised so many people like it! Yeah those pictures were done with the "trace" method people have described, but since then i have found other ways of doing it. So they do take ages!! At the mo, im working on another one, but in some serious detail, to get it perfect, should be posting it up once im done, its looking proper good at the mo! andy

sku011.cab file is missing! dont know why, but ms office (any program) needs this thing to open... wont let me open a thing otherwise!! Anyone on here with ms office 2003, with that file, that they could send me!? (with where its sposed to go!) and would this work!? i dont know what the hell ive done!? cheers and a mars bar to someone that fixes it for me

cool!! you obviously took a bit more time than me.... e.g. getting the lines straight lol yeah i spose... you could send them me, but its gotta be a good pic in the first place, a photo with a tiny weeny rider will look crap for example. And theres no garenteee i will do it only if i have time cheers guys

think i saw this of a DVD cover somewhere... but i had this idea come up in my head in a moment of boredom, but with the problem of "how the hell do you actually make it look like that in photoshop!??" Well, i worked it out (my secret - pretty simple though ) and here are some results.... comments please... Andy

Love IT!! few commments... - crop it, or take it closer, and avoid putting the flash / light in the picture itsself maybe - in terms of how much light there is, i think you've found the perfect balance! anymore and you'll burn bits out, and loose details, any less and it could be too hard to identify - in terms of composition, this particluar pic works well with both the biker and light in the pic, but if you do take out the light in future, i feel there should be something else in there too... a wall, curb, post box whatever, because you dont want 100% of the attention on the rider alone. (hence this one working well with the light) - (im also going against what i sed above:P) if that makes sense!? ha - B+W works well here.... have you got a colour version? curious to see it.... i suppose the rest is down to experimenting.... what if the light was lower? you'd get more facial detail, so i dunno if that would work out better / worse? quesion though - how did u take the photo with such a high enough shutter (to freeze the moment), with so little light and it come out ok??? was there any editing involved? might just be me sounding stupid andy

hello, and happy new year everyone! With the arival of some more camera equipment for xmas, i am now taking even more snaps than before. And i would like to publish them online. I've done pinkbike, msn myspace and other freebee bits n bobs in the past and i have a rough knowledge of what i need to do it. I want my site to look super proffessionall as i would like to direct possible future clients to it to view my work.... you get my drift.... So i would like to know please if anyone has any advice. I would like to make it on photoshop, the slice it etc into Macromedia, but then im stuck, as i've never put a website i've made actually online...... With a guess, i need a server? and a domain name? is that it? i can upload it up through macromedia yes? or would i need something liek ftp? also, is there something easier than this photoshop to MX idea i have ? - something dead basic i can begin with, because obviously i'm going to be playing with 10s, maybe 100s of images... and i wanna experiment a bit Cheers Guys in advance!! well.... if the clonk is at the same point everyrevolution, it cannot be anything to do with the rear end of the bike.... e.g. hub, derailer, tensioner, chain or whatever. So it must be either pedals, cranks, bb or chainring? Stuff at the front end. nobody has mentioned chainring yet....! check all the teeth etc? apart from that i'm outta guesses.... good luck

well... just as an example tarty sent my a new rear wheel recently, with postage coming to about £10 including a chain. so something around that? Just take it to a post office!

i love michelling tyres!! My comp 24 is amazing! In terms of pinch protection, its very good! i've had a few... but thats my own fault with running the tyre presure farrr toooo low! They are very good tyres..... however i have noticed they tend to wear quite well - dunno how bad in comparison to other tyres (having only ever used a michellin!) but i got through 1 tyre riding every day for about 2 months..... So i spose its not all that bad. Go for it!
