  1. you making your own lever? or customising an 04 one? could just get an 05 lever!
  2. snap!! i'm 6ft2ish and I'm running a 100mm raceface prodigy stem (with a tincy rise - say bout 15%) and matching riser 1.5" bars. I find this settup pretty good, and i'm highly influenced by the streety side of trials too. At the mo, im actually considering popping on a slightly smaller length stem, to see if it improves bunny hops etc (i noticed the planet x trialskings boys used quite short stems in they're vids recently) hope that helps andy
  3. good job! cheers! excuse my blindness >_<
  4. Really? all the dmr ones ive seen cleary state they are a BMX ring. . . . . e.g. on chainreaction cant find any saturn rings on bikedock - alll dmr on bikedock...

    Tf Suggestion

i'll give it a wirl and see how it goes, but i think they will be too small to read more than one letter..... ill edit with results soonish  EDIT: wont work!! you cant read the letters, they're far too small. It would have to be a single letter an emotion i think - but i'll keep trying and see what comes up....
  6. you zubra!! he he edit: uuuurrgghhhhhh!!!!! >_< that must hurt !

    Tf Suggestion

A couple of quickies from photoshop.... any good? = wanted = for sale problem though - uploading them to the TF puts that little tf sig in the corner, which in these teeny weeny pics practiacally covers it.... but you get the idea anyway... EDIT - heres a couple more.... the right size too >_<
  8. nope, i didnt think so.... The chainring im running at the mo will only fit a nice chunky bmx chain as its teeth are too wide ( and slightly too far apart ) to fit a mtb chain. I asumed all the chainrings that fitted 3piece cranks would have had the same result... no ? >_<
  9. a chainring to fit 3piece cranks, but that i can run a mtb chain on so i can slap gears on the back.... is it possible? do they exist?
  10. interesting points some of you guys have there.... didnt see those super strong gussets  I suppose the geo would be something simular to a good old giant then, where suspension forks would work as well as rigids... nobody ever seen it before then? or seen it built? >_<
  11. Portsmouth, next sunday (week today) the 11th of dec. 11 at guildhall i presume.... Last ride for me while im at uni.... im off back to Guernsey for xmas, wont be back here till mid january so this is an extra special occasion! Im hoping my ankle will be ridable, and tarty supplies me with a new wheel in time! Whos coming?? no maybes! he he >_<
  12. to clear this silly confusion..... im at portsmouth uni using the FREE 56k dialup.... cos i never got my arse in gear enough to apply for broadband
  13. i have a problem... i want a higher resolution on my screen, so things dont appear childlike big! So i go into decktop properties, as you do, increase the resolution of the screen, and this happens....... how can i just make it "zoom out" like ordinary screens do!? Do i make sense? in need of a helping hand..... andy

same - "acess forbiden from site" but with static x for music and portsmouth in the same video i REALLY wanna see it! :S
  16. http://www.nicolai.net/ Just been browsing they're dh and freeride range, which themselves are very impressive. But in the new movie on the site, i see a trials bike!! Go to movies, and DL the latest jobbie, called "legalize". Mainly Dh orientated stuff - really well edited movie too. Well worth the download Called a "BMXTB", an all in one frame. Looks cool, anyone seen it in person?? or better still riden it? Before you ask, all the frames are made to order, so i would asume they would put vbrake mounts on it for us :S looks like the german version of curtis.... Price = 849 euros... = £560!! *choking on my midnight snack* Thought this might be of interest.... discuss......
  17. yeti DH9 - takes a 15ft drop like its a curb :) bit heavy though :S
  18. I would deffo recommend you testing on another frame first! Like mr heatsink - i too have had many experiments that have turned out super sh*t compared with my wishful thinking! After about 5 attempts i finally got the best result yet on my giant. in my sig i've got a couple of pics of the results i tryed. the "old look" being one of my first attempts. The mistakes i made: - - tryed to do it quickly - put spray paint on a shiney frame - without any seriuous sanding down - whilst trying to spray an arkward spot (thats hard to get to) i ended up getting to much paint on the surrounding bits, therfore dripping, if that makes sense!? (i imagine the fancy headtube of a hifi might be hard to do too) - not enough layers of laquer - means it chips off with your fingernails! - touching the paint before the completely dry time - leaves fingerprints that dry like it, or if your way too early, obviously takes the paint off. - that B&Q stuff that says two in one - laquer and paint al in one - doesnt work!! its crappy stuff, you do really need to lauqer it all seperatley Few tips i might advise on: - - Sand ever mm of paint off the frame you can, or if its a super shiney one (think the hifi is) get rid of every inch of shine. (edit: with fine sandpaper - so it will take a long time! :S) Then prime it well. I too used the stuff from b and q, it worked well when done correctly - i'd advise two coats of primer - covering everbit of the frame - Let each layer dry well - it will take a long time - but you cant rush it!!! - Dont be lazy, each layer must be put on as equally amount as possible in every nook and cranney - in terms of colour coats, i did about 3 / 4, then applied the decals, - then about 5 coats of laquer - quite hard to tell where you've put it though - as its practically see through after the first coat! the "new look" in my sig was my latest paint job - the best yet, seems nearly as strong as the original paint job. One colour this time too - which is MUCH easier.... hope my experience helps, its completely up to you - but its always one of those "stay awake thinkig about it" ideas that you think will be amazing, but never turns out as expected! cheers(Y) andy
  19. same here...... yes please!?? and im on dialup so i dont wanna wait for webpage to load, rather just DL it.

  22. yup so i get a new laptop ...... windows xp, first time i turn it on i get all these questions ...... one being which keyboard settup do'u want? Already selected is "amercian english" so i hit ok. MISTAKE! now my @ sign is shift and 2, and my " is shift and '!! and i dont have a pound sign no more! i've looked for ever through control settings but i cant find anything about keyboard language / settup.... anyone know anything???? thankyou please...
  23. yeah you need a head cleaner. (about 10 - 15 pounds ) those lines are there because the 'head' was too dirty to record the full picture, once its cleaned it'll all be ok! In terms of the manufacture of tapes - it doesnt matter at all. They just say panasonic ones for advertisement. The cheapest tapes on themarket are either 'Maxwell' or 'sony' ones. You can usually pick up a bundle of 5 for 15 squids.... hope ive helped :ermm: :ermm:
  24. brilliant - which one u talking about? :P
