  1. Yikes ! That looks promising... It seems that he runs his brake levers at a really steep angle , doesn't that become uncomfortable when leaning far back ? Like everyone else , I'm itching to see the finished video in it's entirety .
  2. I was originally inspired by the exploits of Lord Ashton , then when I saw some dude riding in my village , I realised that anyone can learn it . I used to think that some individuals were "talented " riders , but aside fom good balance and general fitness , being good is all about practice . And more practice.
  3. I've always enjoyed the Nopogo vids , this one was no exeption . It has all the staple ingedients of a cool video - good riding , astonished onlookers and someone trying to extricate themselves from the foliage of a shrub . Playback quality is great too , probably due to the X-vid encoding . Blimey , that dude on the Koxx Vinco is pretty damn smooth with sidehops to rear , huh ?Like the varied locations .
  4. Looks decent.I'd like to see detailed photographs of the frame , and read exactly what changes / improvements have been made.
  5. I'm reading comparisons to the Onza here , but I find it more reminiscent of ( identical to ,) the Diamondback mod.As shown in Diagram A : Could be wrong. :-"

    Names?

Allright , I can only manage about 10-15 front hops at a time , but love the move.Gotta call yourself something.I was thinking about Sinister Cyclist 'cause I'm deeply fascinated by the Occult and arcane.
  7. Seems interesting...a challenger to the mighty Chris King ?If the pricing is reasonable , and they perform like you suggest they do , they can't fail to be popular. My main concerns are long term reliabiliy , and less importantly possible colour options. No one can deny that totally silent hubs are appealing , and I am looking to replace my XTR rear hub . I simply don't trust Shimano.I look forward to further opinions 6-7 months down the line , after extensive thrashing.
  8. Nice logo , but perhaps the Photoshop Geniuses who frequent this forum could offer further assistance.I see you're from Tel Aviv , I worked on a Kibutz there some years ago , and sorely regretted not taking my trials bike.Such a beautiful land .
  9. "Unrepentant , and with a string of previous convictions..." Gratifying that these individuals have been justly sentenced , but it cannot relieve the grief of family and friends.Seeing the bike mangled and abandoned was eerie , that image alone finally prompted me to realise the gravity of it all. My sincerest condolences.
  10. Like the accurate drop onto the drinks can.You have a pretty cool indoor spot there , but it sounds noisy as Hell in there in the last few seconds.
  11. Yeah sure Hip Hop and Rap are pretty cool , but R + B is just totally pointless and generally s**t in my opinion. Some reccomendations ? 5 elements by Shyheim and most stuff off Das Efx's Hold it down album.Probably not to everyone's taste.

    Bt 6.0

I'm feeling curiously aroused...That's lovely.Did you buy it complete , or frame only?Either way , love that lightning effect. From which company did you buy it ?

    Thrashed 2

Always pleasant to see a TA26 in a video. This clip features nearly every discipline out there , with a bit of street , BMX , dirt jumpin' and trials too.Like the night riding.Decent.
  14. When... Your 1000 pound bike has only 1 gear , no suspension or saddle , and is lower than most children's bikes... you select holiday destinations on the basis of good riding spots... You read this thread.
  15. Excuse the stupid question , but does running no seatpost in a frame that is intended for a conventional saddle / seatpost weaken a frame in any way ? I want to use my Base TA26 without saddle and post , but I'm concerned that dropoffs etc might perhaps force the seatstays into the seattube. Is this a valid concern , or am I just being an overprotective pratt ?
  16. May I offer my most sincere condolences. Was this the result of any single impact , or did it spread slowly ?Rather dissapointing that Koxx offer pretty poor warranty conditions.Did you attempt a lot of front hooks?Hope you get riding again soon.
  17. I'd be more interested in what bike related presents they got.
  18. That's unusually accommodating of the council.Nurture that relationship , and demonstrate that you're responsible , it's great for the public opinion of trials.I hope it turns out decent.
  19. Riding to / from spots with my ridiculous SS gear. And having to explain what the hell Observed Trials is ten thousand times , 'cos nobody here in Holland has ever seen it done.I should make up a laminated fact card or something... :ermm:
  20. This gentleman appears to be a somewhat skilled cyclist. Smooth as snakes**t.(and that's smooth.) Neat video.

    Monitors

Get a projector ! Sorry , that was pretty unhelpful , but a housemate just got one , and the image off P.C is pretty impressive.I use an Iiyama vision master 19".
  22. The moderating team do quite a lot of work voluntarily , and I doubt I'd have the patience required to trawl through pages of advice and opinion which ranges from concise to idiotic.I'm sure they would welcome constructive criticism and any recommendations offered.I have no complaints , having been validated rapidly and being continually informed / amused by this , the first site I always visit.Nice one , Team. :S . (P.S : I like the new T.F 3 Beta skin ,too.)
  23. Don't know terribly much about this , but I resolved a similar situation on my P.C by installing the correct drivers , and playing around with my display settings.Sorry if this is stating the obvious.Good luck.
  24. Great idea . The previous one was somewhat hastily organised , and even then the entries were excellent . It produced some of the best footage I'd ever seen , reflecting the U.K scene .Are those entries still available for download anywhere ? Hope there's a lot of interest this time round , can't wait to see people's entries.
  25. Good choice , the TA 26 rules ! '04 - '05...it's all the same, but the Base website isn't being terribly helpful, having seen no updates for well over a year. Can't recommend any Magura boosters , 'cos I run a V-Brake on mine.Different mech hanger ?Hmmm...I know you said your camera's being Funky, but pictures really would be helpful .I wanna see the bike too.
