    Kot Ms2

Dunno about the MS - 2 bit , but "KOT" is derived from the name Sergei Kotov , the original manufacturer , or owner of the company .
  2. Can't go far wrong with anything by LTJ Bukem .
  3. Wolfenstein Multiplayer ...Truly awesome game . It's far superior to Wolfenstein Enemy Territory . Such an involving game , that allows players to cooperate to achieve objectives , and the combat engagements are intense . Been totally absorbed in this game for the last few months now . Get . Install it . Get shot lots ... :S
  4. Damn ! Sorry to see that , dude . Looks about as bad as mine after I delibarately cut my frame for guarantee replacement . ( thanks for your responses to that , Sam .)Were you injured ? EDIT : To avoid misunderstandings : http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=52903 The supplier themselves suggested cutting the fame .
  5. Ha Ha , nice one , Pythonrider : QUOTE :"Ultra weight saving option you went for there. Personally I would have drilled my rims or somthing?" Any ideas on warranty replacements from Bikedock ? Gary ( Trials Dept.) seems very helpful , and I've generally been very impressed / satisfied with their service thus far . Might cost a bit sending a frame to Holland , though . Wasn't entirely clear about to whom the postage costs will be charged , the shop or me , as a customer . Any experiences with warranty replacements from Bikedock ?
  6. I work at a pretty neat 4 star hotel in Holland as night security , and am responsible for programming the welcome board . Thought I'd enter this : Obviously I erased it before opening time , but looked funny in an austere lobby .
  7. Sorry ? Congratulations , dude . Excellent video ! Loving the Benny Hill interlude  . Perfect ending , too.
  8. Good link . It's easy to forget Hans' contributions to our sport with all the new products , riders and moves , but most owe him a considerable nod as a pioneer . This guy was hopping around , inventing tricks long before most of us on this forum were conceived . He's also extremely professional , a sponsor's dream .

    Precious...

    From the album: Base Ta26

  10. Having bought a BASE TA26 a while ago , I was dissapointed when it soon developed a fracture where the right seatstay meets the seat tube . I soon read on from other BASE owners on this forum that they had encountered similar failures , even if carefully maintained and not ridden ridiculously . I contacted the supplier , who asked me to submit photographs , and on the basis of those , send the damaged section for inspection . I must say I nearly shed a tear when it came to cutting up my beloved frame :"> . But it was then that I noticed the differing wall thickness of the seat tube , as shown in diagram A : Note the difference in wall thickness at the driveside compared to the left side of the seat tube . ( yes poor photo , but visible nonetheless.) This must be the reason that a lot of 2005 TA26 s are failing in exactly this spot . Shame , really because this an otherwise excellent frame . Ah , well ... here's hoping for a swift replacement .

    Fractureage

    From the album: Base Ta26

  12. Neat , professionally presented site . One of your riders is actually called Carl Hopps ! Talk about born to ride !
  13. What indeed the Hell is that bike / frame ? looks really good .
  14. As Delusional suggests , the best you can hope to achieve is minimising signal loss by running better cable . Be aware of the speaker's magnet in proximity to CRT monitors , and sensitive electronics too .

    P2p Programs

For music files you can't beat Soulseek . Easy to use , good speeds and an unbelievable amount of files . Try http://www.slsknet.org/
  16. I'm gonna have to promote Base's excellent TA 26 again , it seems to meet your requirements . With short chainstays and a fairly long top tube it's kinda an inbetween length , making it a great allrounder . Ask your riding buddies if you can try out their bikes , and see what you like . It's so exciting choosing a new frame and there's never been so much choice . Summer's on the way !
  17. I've always been rather fond of these cranksets , manufactured by RooX . OK , the set shown is 5 arm , but I couldn't find the set I was looking for . I recall Petr Kraus (massively underrated rider) used to run RooX cranks on his Orange Zero . Look into Roox , pretty nicely made componentry . Just an idea .
  18. Phew ... no responses to my earlier post . You guys (and girls ) are so accepting .
  19. Quote :"how cool is that world at night one it can't be real can it?" Erm...nope . How can it be night across the entire earth ? Nice picture , though .

    New Echo ...

I found this beauty on Observed Trials.net .Looks sweet , perhaps Echo's response to Zoo's Pitbull and the whole Coustellier / Ashton thing. How about that headtube? What do you think ?
  21. That's very accomodating of your local Council . Suggest to them hiring bricklayers , or even people in training .Useful experience for them , and a more streety park for you guys . This would also save the council money , as opposed to buying and installing "skate" type stuff . Everybody's happy . Be sure to keep in contact with the Council and nuture this unusually welcoming attitude , gives our sport a good reputation . On the downside , however cool and ridable the end result , you'll soon feel confined and perhaps become bored of the same spot . As already suggested , perhaps some movable objects might keep it interesting ie pallets , spools etc .
  22. I've not tried Mercenaries , but was wondering ... anyone here played Return to Castle Wolfenstein online ? Hugely addictive , and I enjoy having to work together as a team to defend objectives .
  23. "... Thus facilitating his escape . Yet a greater peril awaited him , as he soon discovered when he attempted to ..."
  24. Also useless , but I can translate Dutch and guide anyone visiting . I also do a line in Arcane Occult wisdom with a PHd in Deamonology and Invocaton from the forbidden realms . (only on Thursdays .)
  25. I'm utterly terrified at the thought of developing a mental disorder . Or at least my psychiatric state worsening . It can happen , that a persons's mind just "snaps" instantly , and they are left in a state of permament psychosis . Even with no history of mental disturbance in the family , this can just occur , causing schizophrenia , manic depression or intermittent psychotic episodes . Worse still , we know so little about the mind , and psychotherapy is still in it's infancy , so there would be little help , except for supressive drugs . Even thinking / writing about this creeps me out . Frankly , I'm surprised that I dare admit to this , but perhaps the anonnimity of a forum makes this easier . In fact , discussing my fears is in some way therapeutic . Damn , talk about sharing secrets . (Waits for replies calling me nutter...) On a lighter note , I'm haunted by the fear of mid - gap chain snap . That sucks . Lots.
