Dave its not too long. When I used to ride, when I was a spongey flexy teenager mind. I rode literally 12 hours a day 7 daya a week. Just stopping for food/drink/ciggy. Now I ach all the time... I think I just need to keep at it and itll go away. have a rest when it does hurt too much to pull up on the bars.

Hold a tin of beans/food and with your arms extended out to the side whilst standing. Make small circles not too slowly after a while rotate the other way. Theb strech your arms by laying them flat against a wall (elbow & wrist) and rotating your body as to 'lever' your arm.. change position (hands upward with elbows and wrists on the wall) and 'lever' your torso and such down.. try many positions and do each arm equaly. Just basically repeatedly exhert. Then stretch almost straight away (wiggle your arms wrists whilst limp is nice) Repeat as much as you can.

Dissasemble. Clean. Re-bleed/new parts if necessary. Lubricate. Assemble. Or if you can't do all of them, as many as you can.. Even just undoing it and cleaning may work. Check lever bolts are not too tight as to hinder the return of the piston. Also clean etc calipers. If after that it still is slow. New piston/lever. All I can think of right now. Cheers.

Just to add to my previous post... Today my shoulder feels better and my wrists are my weakness... I will give it a few days and then it should be fine, and maybe I'll see a new ach or pain...or create one whilst riding lol Cheers.

Im same... but for me i'v figured out its just because I haven't done anything remotely physical in about 8 years lol and I smoke and am very skinny... fist day I rode I was fine no problems atall and I was hitting what I call "the confidence wall" where I was unsure of doing certain things after such a long break. Then the next day I was a little achy but was still able to improve on the previous day in terms of skill. When I got home from the ride I noticed that I was supremely hungry and I just ate for the rest if the night, just about... the next day I was still achy and couldnt do as much as the second day ( frustrating ) and was very hungry again throughout most of the day. After riding steady and eating and a good sleep I felt like my shoulders were getting bigger and were not hurting as much and I did bigger stuff than all the other days... then after a while I started to ach again.. but in different places, like my wrists and hands.... again I feel hungry... So to me I just need to strengthen up the related parts of my body and eat more to allow it too. Sorry for yhe long boring post...

Na i just like a decent debate, whatever side i was sort of under that imprrssion but my views have changes after learning what people have to say about it. I think its good, but not for me as i like brakes. Changed from "its not trials cuz u cant compete in a trials comp"... Like u say official.or not its still trials.sport. Cheers

Like? Theres no definite date or anything but if ur interested in a sausage bap then get urself on this topic saying, Dates you can/want to come. How many will be coming with you. Style of riding and estimated skill level. This helps, if other good people see.good riders going.. And likewise noobs want to ride with other novice riders. Im available almost any time. Will be bringing 1 person. Ride 20" trials w/brakes and am novice skill level. Thanks all.

Related to that, relates to argument about brakeless trials n other sports that are somtimes not recognised or sneared at... Just somthing highly relevant IMO... "oh its just trials for people tht cant afford a bike".... Cheers

Think theyre about 120 for front and back. Brand new.. 30seems ok but as he says.. Not the best brake out there. HOPE or Magura is what iv allways trusted.
