Haven't I seen this on one of those gadget shows? Looks pretty strange!

Not to sound stupid, but isn't this illegal..?

Grandad had a heart attack at two this morning. Had to do 8 planograms on 1.2meter bays at work today, had a stinking headache all the way through it.. Aaand they're sending me to another store tomorrow.. I don't drive so I've got to get the bus. FML. And to top it all off, they won't give me time off to go see my grandad. Infuriated.

I personally don't understand conscription, why force someone to do something they don't want to? I had the same views of making people stay in sixth form without a choice. The people that wanted to stay on are now getting mixed with the people that didn't, the ones who don't want to be there. If you don't want to be there, you won't push yourself. Whereas if you want to stay on you're going to strive to do your best, as its your decision. Personally, from my year group (the last year that could leave education at sixteen) the people that wanted to stay on did very well, and the people that were advised to stay on because they had no other aspects (somewhat like conscription) failed miserably. I see conscription in the same way. If someone wants to fight for their country, let them. Give them the best training and equipment possible. So that one person who wants to be there is the best they can be. Get all the other f**kers on the dole to clean the barracks, ablution blocks, to cook the meals for the soldiers who do want to be there. I mean, why force someone to join a war if its not part of their nature? They're not going to be the best, and more likely to end up deaded. Look at countries such as Turkey, they have national service between the ages of 18-21 for ALL males. Albeit they don't always fight, a family friend of ours laid roads for the military for three years but they still trained him to shoot and kill.. I don't see why they couldn't of got some lazy arse dole seeker to pave the roads and my family friend keep his life running as normal without having to leave his family and job for three years. I'm sure he's not the only person it's happened to, he's just an example that springs to mind. And also if they're short of personnel applying they should go back through all the denied applications and reconsider. I got rejected and I wouldn't mind having a second chance at joining ^^

Started watching Breaking Bad after finishing Arrow, just watched the final episode of the first series and to be honest, it doesn't seem all that great. Arrow, on the other hand, it had me hooked from the first episode. Albeit hard to follow at some points due to the facts you're following multiple story lines at once, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Buzzing for season two in October already! Keep the suggestions coming guys, they're much appreciated.

Just finished the last episode of Arrow.. Oops;) Still open to suggestions of decent series? As you guys can tell, I have waaaay too much spare time;)

Yeah, not gonna lie.. I'm hooked. Only on episode 18 at the minute..

I know it's not exactly action packed, But memoirs of a Geisha is a damned good film!

So it's nothing like Robin Hood? I don't watch a great deal of television itself, I watch it on the Internet so it's hard to come by decent series but once I start watching one, that's it, I'm hooked and I have to see every episode.. And I'm not gonna lie, this "Arrow" sounds pretty damned good. Might start watching it tomorrow! But if I have no life because of it I blame you!

Forgot all about Sherlock too! Only watched the first series, never caught up after that.. Benedict cumberbatch owns it. The films were pretty good too but nothing on the series. Saw something about breaking bad being the best tv series in the world in the sun newspaper, from the stories I've heard I think I'm gonna have to give it a watch! Also, fruitbat, is Arrow about Robin Hood? Cause I love those kinda things

I haven't seen American beauty Just remembered another one which is weeds, all about a family who is torn apart by the death of their father and in monetary trouble, so the mum starts dealing pot. It's terrible yet incredibly addictive at the same time

I'm not using a booster at the moment as I can't find one that will clear my back tire but when I find one that does I intend to fit one, so I'll just wait til then:)

While on the subject of HBO, the pacific and band of brothers! Great miniseries! What's six feet under about?

Ahh, NCIS... Forgot that, gotta love Leroy Jethero Gibbs! Also I quite like CSI NY and LA, nothing on NCIS though What are all the reasons for these tv series? Like what are the plots?

Still pretty wet up here at the moment, not getting out much:(

Yeah, I'm fine getting to Leeds, it's the getting home I'm not so good with because I hate the trains;) Will have to come over some time soon!

Anyone have any remedies to stop bolts going rusty? If my bike gets wet i dry it pretty thoroughly before it gets stored until the next ride. The shed I keep it in is dry and pretty humid and yet the bolts are still going rusty on my mounts, but only my mounts.. Is it a common problem with the standard maggie bolts? Do I need to replace the bolts with stainless steel ones? Or will something like a light lubricant (WD40) fix this permanently? Thanks, Sam:)

I know there's a topic about the best films but I am yet to see one about tv series. I watch a lot of tele on catch up but I'm running out of ideas, these are the tv series I've seen and a few reasons I enjoyed them; -Nikita Action packed, high tech gadgets, relatively good story and two young ladies wearing tight clothing.. Who can complain? -GoT Didn't really enjoy this.. -TWD The Walking Dead, i mean, who doesn't like this? -Misfits It's my kind of humour -New girl Zoeey Deschannel.. Enough said -How I met your mother Again, my kind of humour as well as -Friends -Two and a half men That's all that springs to mind at the moment What I'm asking is for people to comment their favourite tv shows and a reason why as I've run out and need more ideas of thins to watch;)

My maggies weren't doing anything, they were just slipping constantly, not even gripping the rim at all:( Felt rather unsafe!
