  1. Yeah but holdwise the Saints are more than enough.
  2. They may be.... Mine was only 1 month old before it happened. The other one was older and not mine. As I have yet to see such a picture of an 810 caliper, I think that those are stronger. Just get a Trialzone with Hope Tech 3 lever and Jitsie pads. These will be the same or even better (as some members on here say). I went back to Racing Line rim brake on the rear for now.
  3. I disagree (two different brakes, caliper of the 820 and the 640 are the same): Zee by niconj, on Flickr
  4. Even here in Germany -25 isn't that far fetched. In fact, I've ridden various times when it was colder than that (not trials though).
  5. Has anyone tried them yet?
  6. True, or put some grease under it.
  7. That's what I thought. W/o brakes it's really up to the tyre's grip...
  8. How does the Air King do with 20psi, the pressure I run on my pogo stick bike?
  9. Season isn't over yet or when does winter begin where you come from?
  10. Why that fast? And no, it's not possible to lose fear in such a short time.
  11. And then? When you let some air out. Does it stay?
  12. I did. The funny thing is that is was when I just started sidehop training (not that I'm any better now). Every now and then the bar would slip. I got rid of it and got a Rockman. Hasn't happened since and there's no creaking anymore either.
  13. Can't write this w/o posting some pictures. I went back to rim brake on the rear as I wrecked my Saints yesterday.
  14. Oh crap. How long do the bolts have to be?
  15. I know I know but I still have the Racing Line brake and don't want to wait too long now. Does he Trialtech booster come with longer bolts for mounting or only those washers?
  16. I know that this question has been posted already and I know the differences between the two as well but I was wondering if anyone has used both on an Echo frame and can tell me whether a 4 bolt really is necessary. I used the frame with no booster and the flex was way too much for my liking. Hold was horrible as well. Oh and before you ask... I have to go HS33 on the rear as this happened to my rear brake today and I will have to wait a long time for Shimano to tell me that it actually was my fault and not the 1 month old brake. upload_2014-5-5_11-59-11 by niconj, on Flickr Not my photo but exactly the same happened.
  17. So here's a vid of myself struggling with a height. I actually didn't pay attention to my left foot not doing any lifting and it still happened (or didn't happen for that matter). And here's what happened on my last pedal up attempt. Zee by niconj, on Flickr
  18. Only 130 off? I just weighed my 24'' Swampthing Super Tacky and it's 800gr. It was way over 1000 before.
  19. Can't imagine a slick tyre being any good in the rain.
  20. But isn't the rubber the same? So comparing a slicked Swampthing to a High Roller in 2.5 shouldn't make a difference.
  21. I will probably compare a Trialzone to my Saints. I am very intrigued!!! Just wondering though, whether I can adjust the bitepoint. I really like it close to the bar as with my Saints.
  22. Whether a swampthing or a Highroller doesn't matter (if you slick them anyways) as long as it's a Super Tacky, right? I have both in 42a and a Fat Albert but still thinking of buying a new Conti....
  23. Have you tried the Trialzones or you could get the Trialzones with the Hope Tech 3 lever. Also the XT and SLX levers work the same as the Saints.
