  1. I actually wasn't joking. Some BBC programs I can't watch in Germany w/o using a proxy server.
  2. Are you serious. If so that's ridiculous! I didn't really like the videos, not because of the lack of HD but because it's kinda boring seeing the same moves over and over. What I did like were the failed attempts on the last video. Shows that even Danny has to do things over and over to get it right on camera.

    Mind the gap

And what does this have to do with the bb spacer and the gap between it and the cranks?
  4. Very very interesting as I still can't believe that sintered are any better than organic pads. Not that I'm questioning your expertise. How did you bed the sintered in and what rotors are you running? edit: The EBCs took a while to bed in though. In the beginning I wasn't too fond of those either.
  5. Mine are bedded in now and are awesome. Funny thing is that pad rocking wasn't an issue in the beginning, now it is. I don't mind it though since the brake is awesome!

    Mind the gap

Could I just leave out the bb spacers? They are rattling and after like 10 rides I don't think that the cranks will tighten any further. There's still a 3 to 4 mm gap.
  7. Thanks! Just one more question. How tight should the plate be? I've taken the freewheel off the crank two times and every time I could unscrew the thing with my hands. Oh and also... how do I fit the ball bearings on the right side w/o them flying around when assembling the inner ring with the pawls. I found a video but I don't know about the thread though.
  8. Ok. Cool. Just wondering... is it called ball or what's the right term?
  9. No to my question or to what Family Biker wrote?
  10. I just disasambled my Echo TR freewheel as I broke a pawl. I counted the balls and there are only 47 on one side while there are 48 on the other. Could this be a problem?
  11. Well.... I've only started with trials in October '13 so I don't really have any experience but compared to different MTB alloy and carbon bars they are stiff as hell! That's the only thing I can tell you and that I think it's worth the money. They seem very durable as well.
  12. This came today. It was actually easier to come by than a SLX 665 lever: and next week this should arrive: If these are mounted I think there's not much I can "optimize" anymore.
  13. I especially like them on my Echo 24'' disc bike. Had to tension the chain a bit and as I did the exact amount of turning the screw on both sides, the disc is still set up perfectly. I'm not sure if that would be the case with snail cams.
  14. Cool! Should be ready to ride on Wednesday then.
  15. May??? I have bedded in my rear brake and a local (experienced) rider rode it and he said that it rides pretty damn well...
  16. Hope and Park Tool. My favorite companies when it comes to customer treatment.
  17. I got some new ones for free. They use INA bearings but I already got SKF ones. Job done in 10 minutes or less, if you have the right tools.
  18. I'd recommend EBC Redstuff. Bedding them in on the rear is a pain in the *** though as the rear wheel skids at the lightest touch of the brake.
  19. So how's the build coming along? Can't wait to see yours. I've just bought a second Saint 810 lever as it's actually easier to come by than an SLX 665. The bike rides incredibly well as far as I can judge it. It's a pity that my riding skills are far far behind. You will love dual disc on a 24''.
  20. I've been doing this but it's rather annoying and sometimes gets me off balance.
  21. I'm currently running Wellgo's MG1s and am relatively happy with them. The only problem is that, once my foot is on the pedal, I can't do any corrections. Is this the same with caged pedals? I have 5.10 Freerider shoes.
  22. Just get this brake and be happy. Once bedded in it's pretty powerful, better than Echo anyways.
