  1. That's what I was gonna say... Obviously, this technique is used more on lighter tires. That's why folding tires are usually better performance wise.
  2. Why? Isn't higher TPI the better option?
  3. I'd say that neither folding nor wire beads have anything to do with the durability and performance of the tyre. The latter are just heavier, that's all.
  4. It actually doesn't but I'm up for suggestions. Should they be any higher?
  5. It seems to have more grip and more bounce even though I can't really explain why it has more bounce. The better grip is obviously due to the different compound. The ST is a 42a compound ant the Schwalbe has to be harder. As I am running lower pressures I think this is why it has more bounce... I really don't know.
  6. it's a Maxxis Snyper and I don't know if it's any good as I'm way worse than my bike would suggest. I felt a huge difference on the rear though. The Schwalbe Fat Albert is 400gr. lighter than the HighRoller ST but the latter feels so much better on the rear and I can run 1.2 bars without any punctures.
  7. Finally build it as I had it in mind. Rides incredibly well and I especially like the rear brake setup! Echo 24 Trials¹ by niconj, on Flickr Echo 24 Trials² by niconj, on Flickr Echo 24 Trials³ by niconj, on Flickr Echo 24 Trials⁴ by niconj, on Flickr
  8. Will do. Put the second Saint lever and Goodridge braided hose on it, plus a High Roller ST and SLX RT66 rotor. No color whatsoever.
  9. Biketrial Motivation pt. III?
  10. ... without filing it down? It wouldn't fit my TryAll cranks, that is, it didn't alight with the freewheel. Nico.
  11. Then you should consider Jagwire Ripcord L3. They are the best Jagwire has to offer.
  12. That's some hot shit! I prefer to build my own bikes. This way you can open more than one package.
  13. I've just recently counted the ball bearings in an Echo TR freewheel and came out at 48 on each side. I don't think (also from what I was being told in my own thread) that the two missing bearings will cause the freewheel to creak. Then again, I don't know what freewheel you use and if 94 is actually right for yours.

    stable gloves

Another vote for Jitsies... very comfy!!!
  15. Weren't they recalled because the HS33 mounts broke. This means that the forks didn't actually snap. Isitafox: How much are you gonna pay. May be cheaper here in Germany.
  16. How in hell did you do that with a pedal?
  17. I'm using the Jitsie and wouldn't recommend them when it comes to durability. The mesh part on the back tears easily when the pedal just scrapes your calf.

    Mind the gap

Believe me. If there had been another way to take it off I would've done so. Even with half the isis parts off, the crank was still tight as shit and I had to hammer it off.

Exactly. The bolt doesn't actually have to do sth. with getting the cranks off the bike, well not that much... I was more talking about getting the cranks off the BB. I had Try All cranks that I had to cut of with the grinder once as they were so tight that I broke the threads trying to get it of with the tool (of which I don't know the English term).
  20. Damn... I was about to buy some... I have to admit that the EBCs need some braking when it's wet to perform well. In the dry they are awesome.
  21. Hm... I actually can't get my brakes to slip now that they have bedded in (180mm RT66 rotor), if something slips it's the tyre. Then again, I'm not going big... I just can't believe it as everybody else says that organic pads are better.... On the other hand, the Jitsie for Hope/Echo brakes are sintered as well... So just for the record. What are the best brake pads for the Saints in your opinion?
