I apologise for my incompetence, where's my wank sock, I believe it's that time again....that's fit.
I knew Adam had it, but I wasn't sure if it was his build alone , or whatever haha. Let's just say it was a joint effortAww thanks man <3
The praise should go to Adam though (where the hell is this user tagging this ) as he built the beast.

not that I can see.. It is quite old though. I'm definitely replacing it after this snap anywayHow old is the Tensile sprocket though? Have you checked the teeth aren't hooked/worn?
-
echo sl 108 tensile rear. Old echo sl model (the good ones!)How old are the sprockets/freewheel that you're using, and which ones are they?
-
chai line is slightly out (very slightly) normal tension. Has been very tight in the past (due to an eccentric ffw) could be thatWhat chain are you using aswell?
Check chain line
Check teeth on sprockets
Are you over tensioning?
What gearing are you using?
There can be a few contributing factors.

I have a spare half meter set if links from the same chain, which I then take links from and replace into the chain that goes on the bike. I always replace at least 5 links in case the surrounding links were damaged from the snap.
And it's always a sheared link, the metal actually snapping, not a pin or something of that ilk

My KMC chain has snapped for the third time since February- first time I was uninjured, second time I was doing a gap to front and it snapped as I kicked, causing me to fall on my face, third (and just now) I was dropping off a high ledge, and am now covered in cuts and multiple bruising from the fall, and then the bike landing on me. This KMC is the one that has 5 star ratings everywhere- have I just got a dodgy one? I bought it from tarty after reading reviews- my chain tension is sorted (as we know) and I can't find any reason why it would snap. It's oiled, cleaned and free of rust. Am I just unlucky?

My current echo sl has 108, best I've had so far

Maybe if the iPhone sells

16 points if engagement sounds like it'll hinder everything that's just scary. I couldn't have any less than 70

I put threadlock on my racingline grub screws, as they kept unwinding and the lever would run away that mod is absolute porn. I'm trying my best not to fap. It's hard (ha)

I run my limey with intergrated tensioners- (I can hear the groans already) but no, I managed to find a way to keep constant chain tension with the tensioners, however- every once in a while, under pressure from the pedals, I feel a clunk, and the chain will go slightly slack, and the wheel will rub against my magura the tiniest amount. Spin the cranks once, it returns to normal. It's not the tensioners, or the bolts on the wheel, as I have checked these and they do not move in any way. I'm thinking it could be the freewheel, or the hub bearings? Anyone clarify me on this?

Vans/protec lid for me. As above, it gets flippin hot, but is also damn comfortable
-
likewiseAnyone interested in buying some kits? I have some Tamiya and Fujimi kits I'm thinking of getting rid of. They will be car/F1/motorbike kits.
-
I shall give it a go- (on a smaller note, how do I change my member title? I'm more if a chimp IMO)Watching flipp and when my mate went through his brakeless times, it's not a case of kicking on the backwheel like you would with brakes, but actually just leaning back and pulling the front end back, as of you're gunna do a backwards manual.
-
It's me again- lacking In brakes.
Limey 320, high stem, Tt highrise rolled back- perfect. I wanted to have some fun, and the idea of everything being on edge is an idea I like, if that makes sense.
I discovered something though, if I bump my front wheel off something them go into rear wheel hops (so using the object I bump into to stop the bike, then immediately put pressure on the pedals) I can rear wheel hop as much as I like. When doing it from a trackstand- I sort of keep on going forwards until I loop out, because putting pressure on the pedals to lift the front up to the means I gain forwards momentum. What's the best way to get to go about brakeless rear wheel hops from a trackstand? If I have an object to stop against, fine, I can do as many as I like. But from trackstand I have issues. Any advice?

I'm with kidney ; a wedge is when both wheels are compressed between two objects eg a small gap.
A wodge is what has been described above ?
oh right, potato wodge it isWe call it a wodge (sort of the opposite if a wedge).

Aha! That's the puppy. Thanks
now my echo sl shall be spared from further pain, they're going to snap very soon...
-
right, how do I do it?It's wedge as far as I know, like side hop to wedge.
cheers for the unnecessary information, and you must have read it to see what I was asking....definitely wedge.
p.s. i just looked at the picture and i wasn't bothered to read all that text.
Best looking mod?
