I'm sure a lot of people have seen my bike, but it's had a few updates, to the point there's nothing I would change unless a part breaks. So! A tartybikes package and a trialsaddict package arrived, carrying parts. I finally was able to remove the onza "gash" ring, but I lost the spacer for my new Jaf bash. So I machined one out of a disc rotor spacer. Freewheel took a 2 Meyer extension bar and a shed load of pushing to take off, it had been on there so long.
Final updated spec:
Frame-onza limey 320, champagne gold
Bb: shimano (I believe it's 128mm)
Headset: SARS Italy
Forks: echo sl 2013 disc only
Stem: tryall 3d forged
Bars: trialtech highrisers
Brakes: shimano Deore 2013 BR-M395, 203mm ice tech rotor front, 160mm Ice tech rotor rear
Wheels: front- tryall "h" laced to a tryall hole rim, radial spokes on right side, crossed on the left. Monty eagle claw pro race tyre. Rear- V!z disc hub with echo sprocket laced to a tryall hole 19" rim. 3ply dual cross lacing pattern. Monty eagle claw pro race tyre. Both rims with jitsie rim stickers
Cranks: onza pro, tryall caged elite 7075 pedals, Jaf bash, echo sl 108 ffw
Chain: KMC
As always, feedback appreciated

No, I bought it. But it's got an iCloud lock that requires the previous owners details.
-
it's activation lock so you can't get to the settingsDo you not just go Settings->iCloud->Sign Out (right at the bottom)? Then sign in with your address...
jailbreak doesn't work, needs to be unlockedOr jailbreak it for free with Pangu then update it through iTunes. That will trick it into wiping everything and making it a factory phone hen you turn it on after the update.
-
Master reset? I've wiped the phone but it's still there. What's a master reset?
-
As above, I bought a dodgy iPhone 4s, (although I have one) but I wanted bigger memory. Unfortunately, it's iCloud locked, and the original owner won't respond and has dissapeared from everywhere. Typical. Any help is appreciated.

venting my anger. I regret clicking on it.That's not really Facebook's fault?
-
A friend of mine shared a link on my Facebook- of a Muslim extremist mass beheading. I usually refuse to click on these as Facebook will take you through multiple pages, asking for access to this, that, blah blah blah. But this link went to the video. I watched, almost unwillingly, a man pulled from his children and his head separated from his body by a blade. His head rolled and his body went limp and collapsed. I'm not A violent person, I don't think I've ever had a fight with anybody since I was little, but the overpowering urge to find the man behind the blade and torture him to the point of madness, rip his body limb from limb and laugh at his suffering, frankly scared me and made me angry with myself. Now I just feel ill. Godamn Facebook.

interesting, I really like how it looks! Can I hear the reasoning behind that opinion?I might be the only one but to me that looks dreadful.

I love seeing little bits of engineering that bridge the gap In the market. Personally I'd paint it black to match the stem, but nothing wrong with chrome

Highrise bars on a streety bike like a Marino is a good shout in my opinion, arcade risers is a good choice too. Makes it easier to manual, bunnyhop etc like you said

as you may have read, people have run no top cap. The top cap only compresses the stem onto the bearings when the stem bolts aren't done up, once you tighten the stem bolts it's what's compressing the headset, you can do as you please with the top cap, and also, if the stem wants to come off the steerer, a top cap ain't gonna stop it, I know this from experienceWTF??? Are some people for real? The amount of crashes i have seen whether it has been road, mtb, trials, vmx etc and the moment when a stem turns from the impact. Now imagine that crash scenario but they didn't have a top cap? (Possibility the stem could of slides off the steerer) The situation would be a lot worse. The top cap keeps the stem compressed on the headset and bearing so that there is no play.
(Awaits for trials-forums next topic title: Do you actually need cranks bolts?)

your style of riding surely Is a factor there- huge bunnyhops, manuals etc. There's a lot of pushing/pulling.I tried without one for a while and me headset kept coming loose.
Mind you, it does that even WITH a top-cap.
Only doesn't do it with a threaded top-cap/steerer type.
-
If you've used the top cap to preload the headset bearings, then do up the stem clamp, could you then remove the top cap? As long as the bearings are under load I don't see why it would make a difference

that's just it, isn't it. Smalltheres no one way this can be sorted out I don't think, not without a major overhaul of the rules in the for sale section. I do agree with mandatory photos, and the time and date in the picture along with the username. We are a seriously small minority sport in the UK, and we should be able to trade with other without getting scammed
Sport, still being scammed. Probably has to do with how much the bikes we use are worth- there's a lot of money involved, and that brings in scammers like insects to a lightbulb
-
I think the idea of age restriction is stupid. It sounds like you're basing it off age simply because of one dispute- suggestions about reputation and feedback are much more logical. There's scammers and thieves at all ages.

I've watched this 5 times now and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon

Bit of a bumpage but I'd really like to go to one of these! Any idea if/when?

I figured out how to stop pad rock in shimano brakes,, the pad rock was annoying for me. You can either put insulation tape on the pad backings so the pistons "dig in" to the thick tape and therefore the pads don't rock, or what I did is wrap sticky tape around the pad retaining pin before you put it in, so the pin is slightly wider in diameter, meaning the pads can't rock . Not arguing your choice of brake, just some friendly adviceWas sick of my noisy, squealing, pad rocking saints, so here we are

Along with trials chat and beginners trials chat etc, a topic called reviews, in which there are threads titled things like "disc brakes" "rim brakes" "tyres" etc, as I think the expanse of knowledge on this forum is something that can be helpful to others looking to buy parts they're unsure about , and so forth. Just an idea

There is not a thing I would change if that was mine. Lovely piece of work
