  1. Ive currently got some Heatsink Konigs (the red ones) and since i started riding at my friends farm they dont seem to be locking very well (on a grind) and I'm too poor to buy some new ones :S I have a wide range of natural stuff to ride on at my doorstep, and I have worked so very hard at all your other competitions, it would be nice to win something for once :P Cheers for reading, Andy
  2. Yeah cooke, the guy who originally sold this bike to the guy thats messing you about got messed about by him too. If that makes sense? (Y)
  3. Just to point this thread in the right direction, the guy who is selling this bike is a sound guy. He isnt buying any bike off of anyone, he is just selling that Pitbull. And for the person who has bought it: don't start to try and mess anyone about, because you have messed the seller about enough as it is with the payment, so leave it out.
  4. Seems weird that the prices of the frames are reversed, usually the Onza would be the cheaper and the Echo the more expensive, but not any more... I thought I'd just say what everyone already knows (Y)

  7. I've got the Zoo!s with a long Echo Team and I love 'em! Long cranks are great, twice the power with half the moverment (or so it feels). Plenty stiff, well, I've never had any cause to notice them, whic can only be a good thing! They have to have a bash or a spacer though, you can just whack a freewheel on without, as I found out the hard way (Y) But very shexual overall! The new echo cnc ones look similar, plus you can have them in a variety of horrible and garish colours B)
  8. That is without a doubt one of the best vids I have ever seen... I want a Monty <_<
  9. Right - the stereotypical chav is not just based on clothing, i.e: if ou saw someone wearing chav-esquue clothing and the were with one other person and were saying "What, what, Jeffrey, I've nearly completed my completely spiffing stamp collection" in perfectly spoken english, and walking without a fashionable limp, then you wouldnt be inclined to think they were a chav. Chav is much more than that, body language, grammer, expression, peers. Lots of bopping, big gangs, hoods up, caps on, faces covered, lots of "oi boi, what choo lukkin at", intimidating behaviour even in the way they speak to you (right up into your face, shouting, swearing), generally abrrassive, impolite, rude behaviour. Most of these traits can be recognised within seconds of seeing someone... especially because chavs are loud, so you can tell from across the road. It comes to a point when you have been given abuse hundreds of times, attacked tens of times, and seriously hurt once or twice by the same kind of people with the same stupid chav voices and language and aggressive behavious that the stereotype starts to stick very firmly. And once that happens, theres no going back; people like this have used up all their chances, and you would be foolish to assume the next one you see is nice. To sum it up - You wouldnt, (given its reputation) put your head in a lions mouth.
  10. Ive got one of those (S700)! Know any good games/software for it? Anywho, the nano is fine, but because its smaller people are probably giving it a bit more of a bashing or something, but no matter what, plastic will scratch at some point, so whats the fuss?

    Dvd Player?

What about people with DVD players in their cars? Someone on here has one I think...
  15. Heres a bit of food for thought: More men die of breast cancer than women.
  16. If the comments you have read were on here, they would have most likely been about the trials freewheel. Eno do a few freewheels, two of which are the 36 engagement freewheel and the more robust 72 engagement trials freewheel. They both have the same excellent robustness and build quality, but the 72 ep on has double the pawls (three engage whilst the other three are between engagments, giving you twice as many engagments from the same amount of teeth on the ratchet). The trials freewheel is quite obviously better as it has two times the engagments, and is not that much more expensive than the 36 ep freewheel. As for the reliability, they are amazing, although some people have had bad experiences with them. The good thing is, if it does skip, you only hear it but dont feel it, because the next engagement is only half a click away.

    Which One?

Whats the deal with the sony one? the 20/30gb one? thats pretty tiny, big screen, long battery life of a claimed 40 hours, loads of memory... the software is prbably crap, but once the music is on it wont need to come off again! So whats peoples opinions of the sony one? What about this?
  19. Listen to your heart (Y)
  20. I work for WSP Development which I found through Conexxions... I did Maths AS and got a D, Physics A level and got a D, D+T and got a C, and General Studies and got a B. So pretty crap results really! Just be enthusiastic and they should take you on... And if you do go with WSP Development (for more info click here) tell them Andrew Morgan told you to join cos I get £500 then (Y)
  21. A lot of engineering companies will take you on after a levels and will pay for you to do day release foundation degree which takes three years, and if you do well will let you continue to degree. By the time you have done your foundation degree, the pay you will be on because you have got experience and a qualification will be the same as a new graduate just starting, but minus the big uni debts. This is what ive done and we hardly do any maths at work here, so dont worry!
  22. Those levers look awesome! I really could do with one for an 05 Maggie cos the stock levers are so stubby and slippery! Good effort though, they look like a real quaility product. (Y)
  23. Heres some food for thought.... How come everyone can have Christmas off as holiday, including people of religions that dont believe in Jesus being the son of God, but people who arent Muslims (just as an example) cant have time off at 3pm every friday for an hour like all Muslims get? Humph (Y)
  24. I went from a T-Pro with a wheelbase of 1005 to an Echo Team with a wheelbase of 1030, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't really notice all that much difference until I got some riser bars instead of my flat ones. It feels less cramped, but for riding, I'm still as crap as I was on the T-Pro (Y) You should get used to the Echo Team fairly easily, but the Python has quite long chainstays which makes it ride so different. Not that I've ridden it, but I would like to. Test them both out is the best advice really... :)
