Yeah if you laqure it, it will hold its shine but its a good idea to clean it with METHS not white spirirt as i leaves a residue!!! Halfords sell laqure for about 2 quid a time, wilkinsons have some of their own brand that £1:29 and seems ok but its not 100% clear so its a tiny bit erm foggy. If you have to strip your frame its worth remembering your not meant to use nitro mors on alloy and you will probably invalidate your warranty by polishing it.

Have you removed the decals yourself or did you buy it unmarked? Do you know if it will be available without decals or how easy they would be to remove, as in are they under an inch of laqure like onza etc? -cheers Chris

Theres been a lot of talk about Dalby recently becoming a "development" area. They are building a new xc loop and dh track aswell as far as i know but it miiiight be like a bike park such as Aston where you pay either a daily fee or become a member. The nearest town is probably Thirsk or Pickering but its a huge place (goes nearly up to Brimham) so it kinda depends where abouts your coming from. Its pretty near Whitby if your coming from the north. Theres a skatepark just been built here in Sheffield (Parsons cross nesar Hillsborough) that looks like it might have some very trialsly potential, lots of walls step things rails etc. Trials is deffinaetly becoming more recognised, good to see Porthy on extreme aswell as quite a few other bits.

That was a truely awesome vid. Some of those ups were just plain stooopid. I dont like watching street vids very often especially on stocks, they just dont look right on street, too big and clumsy but you were so flowy and smooth. Are the initial figures available on the Kot?

Spend a little bit more and get Dainese. Lasts longer, lot more comfortable, doesn't move around and better ventilated than any of the 661, fox or axo pads i've used. Never used roach but i'd rather go with Dainese as millions of people use them with virtually no problems. From the 2 you've listed i'd go with 661 but seriously consider the dainese

The feeling you get when your going over the bars when theres a drop infront, like landing a big gap to a rail and dropping the front wheel or a few times riding dh in like rockgardens because your in the air and all you can see is rocks. That sewage you get in the sea thats sort of foam is horrible too, i'm so scared of swallowing any when i go surfing (even though you know the waters full of it- bit irrational really but i guess a lot of fears are). I reaaaaaly hate cotton wool aswell, i'm cringeing just thinking about it >_<

I have the same thing with hair, long shitty hair+ beanie+riding ergh its horrible. I use that tres-emme or summat like that but then it goes all fluffy, stops it getting so horrible under a hat though. I've been using that physio sport anti persparent and that seems pretty good Summers coming too so theres going to be lots of smelly riders around :ermm: >_<

Pedals will get scratched to bits in no time, as will bar ends and the headset spacers would need the tops and bottoms sanding after so they were flat again otherwise you'l be putting uneven load on your headset- not good.

I know some protec signature helmets come with coloured straps so they might be able to sort you out

I just sprayed my bash for the exact same reason.... Boredom is a dangerous thing, if you do spray a bash make sure you sand it loads 1st though. Mine was gold before anyone takes the piss for spraying a bash >_< If you spray your hand you'l just end up touching your bike anyway but yeah your bike will look a bit stupid. (unless your covering goldness- nothing looks worse than gold)

At least they dont still have the 03 bikes on the site unlike ONZA (Y) Its a crap site but it does its job i guess, they dont need anything flashy so theres no point wasting cash on it. The service is pretty poor though from the few orders i've had. Seems to be down to luck with them, somepeople havent had a problem and some never get sorted with what they want.

I run an xtr lever with a dx and even the same shimano booster on the back and its the nicest v brake i've ever used. Thought i was the only one still running the old school stuff :turned: I'd deffinaetly get an xtr lever for it, you wont regret it

My post wasn't aimed at you Luke, just a general point that posts like this do turn in to almost a competition on who has the most violent revenge. If you report it to the police and hes allready on a warning or something its possible he'd get a bit more than a few days off school so its worth contacting them, if he does get a warning it also means if he does anything else to you or anyone he's more likely to be dealt with properly. If you went and did what he's done to you back you'd probably end up worse off so its not worth it

Its not free but this gives you 3 pages. you can have a logo and graphic on each page and it also include an equiry form so really its 4 pages, you can choose .co.uk, .com, ,org and all the usual for 10 quid for 2 years and it works out cheaper the longer you keep the space. You also get 10 email accounts with the option of forwarding to your existing email so it looks a lot better than using a hotmail account and obviously a .co.uk account looks better than @freewebs.com or summat. Its as easy to use as word aswell but you can upgrade to use html if you want to. Its nothing too flashy but it does the job well and is very cheap

Posts like this always turn in to people trying to show how "hard" they are saying you should go and kick the sh*t out of them and stuff. Its not actually going to get you anywhere. Get it sorted properly then if they start again afterwards report it again. At the end of the day if you start on them you've got no chance of sorting stuff properly and even if they did get arrested or something they will still have mates, if it stays between you and him it wont go any further, if you fight back he'l probably end up getting an enitire gang of people to jump ou then you really will be farked. I'm not saying you should just sit and tak all the crap he can throw at you but if you drop to there level it'l only get worse
