  1. Lesson 24" - ultimate street style
  2. lazercutting? but theyd need to be thin and light, not sure if it makes a good lever. at the moment ive got a rediculously old RB lever, that still isnt working, even after todges best efforts. might just rebleed it, or get a new lever. no idea why or wehre its leaking from, but alas, it is. on that note, any one got a RH 04 lever for sale?
  3. spray wd40 (liquid wrench or something oily) in there, so it soaks in. give it a good old clout on the side of the bb shaft (to break the friction weld) then it should just slide off. it takes alot of elbow grease to get them off, if it was only to grease it, id get a srynge and fill the bearing cups up with grease and just ride it.
  4. No gloves at the moment, mainly because i dont have any. but when it gets a bit colder, im going to have to invest in some
  5. Theres very few products Left that on-one make that interest the ever growing Trials community. Saying that, the Zebdi was amazing, i loved mine to pieces (litterally) and even converted it to 24" to see how it rode. whis was ever so nicely, odd like any 24, but astounding when you got used to it. the material has to be steel really, bumps up the price a bit, just for the strength thats needed for the way there meant to ride. if there was a cheap, steel 24" on the market, it would piss all over hotcakes Hes probably still pissed off about the whole zebdi warrenty issue, but saying "if you break it, we replace it" is quite a statement to live up to. could even sell it with no warrenty, if its a good frame, itll last enough to please most people, for how they use it (feather touch or sledgehammer). Si
  6. getting a road casstte is deffinately your best bet. Shimano 105 are pretty good. as for riding 18t, dont worry too much if its not exactly the same because you just kick a little harder/softer for what your doing. i.e 19t for static gap, 17t for rolling. i went from 21t to 15t and loved it, just get so much raw power out of it. or could get a 20t and see how that goes.
  7. ive had slightly different experience with them. went in, got refferred to about 30 people, got a little sheet of paper with a few jobs going on it (none interested me) 3 months later (after id found a job) they rang me up saying "need any additional help?" i wasnt too polite, but you can see why. still getting the odd phone call (3-6monthly) after asking to be removed from the list ages ago. rant over. but ive got a job (and its hell) im a posty at the moment, just a bit tiring 5 days a week. part time is the way(Y)
  8. go for a leeson, clive is a class bloke, and will build you a perfect bike, for a very good price. curtis are also absaluely beautiful bikes, but they ride alot heavier, alot harder to get hold of, and more expensive. it just depends how much you want the "real british" in your frame.
  9. Max payne 2 was astounding how it only made sense when you played it though second time (because the beginning is the end) but as said, pretty short, but playable with mods and the newyour minute/last man standing modes rock on it Half life 2 blew me away to be honest, some kinda story line, but not enough information, so keeps you puzzling more than if it made sense. astounding graphincs, great game play, and best multiplayer platform ive played. *intruiged to play it, i think i shall
  10. agreed, without a doubt. should be getting mine sometime this week (Y)
  11. Buy a real camelback, because they are the best made. i had a platipus, and it undercame ming-itis, so alas thats gone. pretty good for what there for, just get one that you can clean. going to get a unibottle, as you can put it into any bag.
  12. a lurch, up a wall? or backwheeling, front hopping, 360 or a backflip. where ever you want to take it to mate.
  13. EA70s are extremely strong and feel very nice, good and long too. doublewalls are the all round leader, feel exquisite, perfect length and stiff as anything. only trouble is, 6 months down the line, thell snap on u. up to u really, try other people risers, shop around for the best deal and choose what looks best. id say doublewalls if your not going too big and dont mind checking your bars for cracks every so often.
  14. Oh so very true, gets you up off the ground, and starts the bady moving. cant be bad. but i will be riding most possible minutes through winter, apart from when im just plain too tired/working. *gets out the waterproofs
  15. RBs give so much power they make an awesome brake with modualation and lock (in the set up) but they do flex your frame to buggery (without a booster) and feel nice enough to ride all day unfortunately, after that days riding youll probably need to top up your magura, because the seals are not quite up to scratch. yet im getting todge (fresh products) to make me a piston for mine with 4 seals, before hes off to uni. still to get it made, let alone test it, a full review will come when its all together and ridden.
  16. long bikes have more balance standing still, seem to float more than hop up objects, can only ride pure trials on them, with thier big, squishy tyres. short bikes are easier to roll around and up walls, more of a flow to the ride of the bike. much more manageable (quicker to get to where you need it) when riding a section. personally i like short bikes, as their not as serious to ride (can only ride trials on a long, low and silver one) ive had a koxx 1060 and it rode nicely, but slowly.
  17. id say buy an ashton ET replica, and whack all the parts on, that would feel awesome with a very hoppy feel, but still able to flow round parks/dirt like a beast. and get a rear magura on, or a decent V, discs are perfect for the front, but just put too much strain on the back. and a smaller chainring + bashring should be a beast then.
  18. currently, no because im waiting for my leeson to arrive, just missing riding too much.
  19. is a collapse chain thin enough to be used on gears? i know theres the k810, but the collapse looks a bit beefier

    New Hope Hub

this new hope looks ingenous, completely replaceable pawl carriers - all the bulb needed. im definately getting one as it seems to be exactly what the bulb wanted to be. hope said to me "christmas time" about 2 weeks ago, seems like a reasonable proto time. i know what i want in my stocking :-
  22. im a post man (Y) :D bloody excellent, full time pay, part time hours and the only thing you really need to know is..your odds and evens (numbers) its so easy, all you have to do is muck about in the sunshine all day
  23. if you like pashleys, but want a disc mount, get clive to weld you one on. need a bit more strength, and weight go for tuning forks, mine have lasted me a good 3 years and still going strong. waiting time is anywhere between 2 months and 2 weeks, depends on how busy he is, and how good your blagging skills are. if you want some better answers, ring clive, hes the man to talk to, as he does it.
