  1. That's really helpful actually, cheers. It was probably a lot more apparent that day because the sun was really bright and low, so there were shadows all over the place. I had to discard a load of pics because they were underexposed in half the pic and overexposed in the other half. But I will certainly have to experiment with using the flash next time
  2. I am debating whether to get a Juicy 7 or a BB7. I had a BB7 on my bike that was stolen and that was amazing, but I can't help feeling that the Juicy really should be loads better since it is Avid's flagship brake, and it's a fair bit more expensive. To be honest, I was perfectly happy with the BB7, but I want a Juicy for the nicer lever feel of a hydraulic. So, is Juicy better than a BB7? I mean is it more POWERFUL, I can't understand people that like their brakes to have modulation instead of power - which is basically my experience of Magura disc brakes. If it's got less power but more modulation I don't really want it. I could just get a BB7, but I have money burning a hole in my pocket and want the bling, really So yeah: Juicy 7 or BB7?
  3. My 9800XT works fine on my Shuttle's 240W PSU . But Shuttle PSUs are known for being decent, and a decent 240W PSU is in most cases better than a rubbish 500W one. But yes, as you upgrade and stuff you may need a more powerful PSU.
  4. Well I got pulled over for going in a bus & taxi lane, when I was just giving mates a lift... So I guess they assume you're a not taxi until proven otherwise?

Doesn't work here either, it says: "You have downloaded 107205 KB. Want to download more? Get your PREMIUM-Account now! Instant access! (Or wait 42 minutes)". I haven't downloaded anything off that site, let alone 107Mb... Get a better place to upload to to
  6. I'm sure they'll be back in stock within a week or two.
  7. It is definitely illegal, there has recently been a couple of stories in the news of people getting into unmarked taxis and getting raped. So I wouldn't be surprised if the police were cracking down a bit.
  8. Is your Dad verified on Paypal? That might be the reason...

  11. Maybe Daysleeper - R.E.M.. Although there are loads, I couldn't possibly choose one.
  12. Try using a proxy. Set your browser up to access the internet via a http proxy. Google for "http proxy list" and choose one of the results and then paste the IP into your browser in the proxy settings. It's not really practical to use the proxy all the time (it's slow and it's not secure, for starters), but for a one-off it's OK. Remember to change it back. Or do what I do and use a different browser for whenever you need a proxy. I use Opera and use that with a proxy, and in the normal browser (Firefox) I leave the settings as normal.
  13. What ISP are you on? I'm on NTL and I can't get onto eBuyer at all at home (without using a proxy). No idea why, just one of those things.
  14. Well I wanted to try Aperture (Apple photo processing app), see if I liked that. There are a few versions floating around on the torrent sites, one is 30Mb or so with a crack. However, the only version on newzbin is the full 2.6 Gb .dmg (equivalent of .iso). Apparently the other 2.57Gb is just media and the app itself is only 30Mb But the torrent sites don't seem to be working. However, the 2.6Gb dmg is downloading at a steady 200kbps, so it shouldn't take too long The other thing I need is a Mac version of newsleacher - At the moment I'm using Unison which seems nice, but it's a 15 day trial, and I can't find the full version on newzbin.
  15. They're sending now Should be ready in ten minutes or less I would guess. And yeah, Manchester is pretty cool. Should definitely get a ride going in the new year some time
  16. Blimey, I think I got this sorted, not easy though Anyway, I've signed up for newsgroupdirect (£5.25 ~ $9) and newzbins (96p for 8 weeks). So I've searched and found something to download. But there are some things I'm looking for that are not on newzbins, so are there any other sites that search other places? Like for example if I can't find something on the pirate bay, I'll look on mininova or ISOhunt. Basically if I'm paying ~£6 a month I want it to be awsome, is there something I'm missing?

  18. Yeah I'll send you some bigger pics if you like, what's your email address? Or MSN. And I'm at Manchester uni at the moment, but I came down from Lancaster for the Leeds ride. A long way to come, but worth it I reckon
  19. As long as you grind on the right Looks awsome though.
  20. That system would probably struggle a bit with BF2, but there's no reason to suggest that it should crash. Try searching some BF2 forums for similar issues?
  21. No good ones though. The only one I have is this one, which is slightly out of focus and just generally shit
