My first impression when I heard that on the news was that some guy had nodded off or was driving too fast or something. But when you read the article, it just seems like a total accident, which is very tragic. If it was an accident, my thoughts go out to the driver as much as anyone else, that sort of thing will really mess you up.

Could be a router and a hardware firewall. Virus/Spyware Some version of messenger you're not supposed to use? Corrupt MSN? Long shot. Has this version of MSN ever worked on this PC?

Look in the other topic. You might have to use your brain, but it's there

I did a similar thing, but it was before the days of webcams. I found some recordings of my sister rapping (aged about 11). Was funny shit

Download VLC Player Does that actually make a difference? I'm pretty sure putting songs in a video is illegally distributing them, putting them on a DVD isn't really any different, is it?

He asked if you knew anything about Wankel engines. Not if you could copy and paste off Wikipedia

Before you get too excited though, I've downloaded this and tried it. It's OK, quite fun, but not a patch on the original and best. Anyway, here's the link: Motorama While we're on the subject, does anyone remember Action Supercross? This is the original elastomania, the one that got me hooked about 7 years ago ( ). It's basically just the same as elastomania, but more primitive. I downloaded it again and tried to run it but it doesn't want to work under Windows XP We still have Elma

Haha yeah, managed to catch the repeat

Nah they're doing another Christmas special next year, for definite apparently. And touring this year. But they've not got any plans for another series. David Walliams was on Top Gear, that's what he said

Yeah but that doesn't apply to songs you buy from the iTunes shop. They are all still .mp4 and I don't think you can change that. Maybe with some extra software, dunno. That's fine if you have an iPod, but if you don't, they won't play on your MP3 player

MusicMatch is the biggest piece of shit I have ever used. No actually, Real Player is worse but not by much. iTunes is OK, does the job. What version of Winamp are you using? If you don't need a library thing just use Winamp 2.xx, it's great. Really fast, uses next to no resources, good song search function (better than iTunes).

You don't have a son or a wife. Stop deluding yourself

I put a 26" wheel in the front of my 24" trials bike for shits and giggles one day. It wasn't actually as different as you would imagine, it only raises the front up by an inch if you're using the same forks. So it is rideable. Having said that, your forks are already really long and it's not a trials bike, so it probably won't ride that nice. My advice would probably be to give up trying to turn that bike into a trials bike. There aren't really any useful bits. Just save up for a proper trials bike, or at least frame and forks

Apparently the Source engine now runs in 64 bit, even in 32 bit windows, if you have the right CPU. To be honest though, I've not used the 64 bit capabilities of my computer which I've had for 18 months now. It's still way faster than an Athlon XP though, so it doesn't really matter

Only 'cos my brakes were shagged. Much better now. But yeah, Matt Barlow's felt awsome. I want a Leeson

lol, I thought it was some crap Premiere effect to make it look old-school. To tell you the truth it was annoying me, but now I know it's done on a proper 8mm camera I might have to revise my opinions. Haha. Is it difficult to use? I'm pretty sure downloading VLC will fix that. It plays in fullscreen on my Mac with VLC anyways Quicktime Pro my arse... EDIT: And that 180-half cab crank-flip thing Phil Feeney does is the best thing I have ever seen

That's probably true, but then again you're a pretty experienced photographer and your composition is probably pretty good without resorting to guides. But I think the rule of thirds is useful, as least when you're starting out. But yeah, it's a guide not a rule

Just use Open Office. Then you don't have to be illegal
-
Internet explorer? Firefox? Any browser really. Unless you've got something blocking animations.
-
Yeah, do that. Your computer ain't that old, should run fine. It's just that Macafee and Norton use loads of resources just sitting in the background. AVG is much nicer for that
-
There is definitely something very unbalanced about that picture. Rule of thirds out the window, it looks wrong. But I think that's the beauty, it's almost confusing in that it looks wrong. Anyway, I like it
-
It comes through the same cable though?
-
The other thing is, you are now a year (?) older and wiser, so a GCSE english will be easier. Even if you don't do any extra work, it would be worth re-sitting the exam.

Open Office on the Mac isn't amazing. Well, it basically the same as the PC one, which means it's not as pretty to look at as Pages/Keynote. I generally just use Pages (it can still read .doc files, it just can't write them), but have Open Office there for when I need it. Haven't used it yet though. You can unlock Pages with a code so you won't need to download anything extra

Quick post: 2 raptors is a lot, probably overkill and I don't think RAID will help the speed of your computer anyway. Maybe a bit but probably not worth the expense. If you don't want a raptor then you can just get a big hard drive or two, nothing wrong with that. Might be slightly slower but not by a lot, and you'll save money. Seagate I think have a 5 year warranttee, they're supposed to be reliable. SLI - At the moment it seems like it's much more cost-effective to just buy one card, rather than two cheaper ones in SLI. 19" TFT are a bit rubbish in that the resolution on them is 1280x1024 which is no more than some 17" ones. So I would think about getting two 17" ones, perhaps. And no you wouldn't need any extra hardware for dual screens, that 6800le will do it fine.
