  1. Yeah, I want to try a slightly shorter stem, maybe with a bit more rise, so I am looking at this - Kore Lite 3 Stem. Looks ok and it's a bargain price (£15) but has anyone used them? Any creaks etc? Or can anyone recommend something similar that's less than £20 ish. Or maybe try and sell me a stem that's 80mm. Thanks :D
  2. Not when you're the importer of said rims :D
  3. Out of the people that have Ashtons, who paid full price? And are any of the full price ones left?
  4. Has anyone actually killed a rim from over grinding it? I seriously doubt that anyone knows. It would depend how much you rim out when you're riding anyway. If it breaks, it breaks...

    Chain Snapping

Yeah exactly. I thought Ali was going to say he used a different one every time, which makes loads more sense to me. Anyway. I just use a split link. Have done with Powerlinks and for the last couple of years with the Kool style split link. No problems (Y)

    .~

For me, that was slightly back. Everyone is different though, there's no point asking what is "right". If your wrists are going numb, I would say it might not be a bad idea to change it back...

    Let's Talk Mp3's

Yeah, that's what I meant when I posted the one up there ^^^. IMO a player that takes AAA is far better than one that recharges off the USB, as you can take spare batteries with you. I.e. on holiday and stuff :)
  8. Hmm, that sucks. Why did Ashton go and make that frame 3.3lbs or whatever it is? Gonna get a Leeson then?
  9. Nah, it'll all come full circle. You mark my words. Someone will come on TF and say they cracked their UCI, and then everyone will go and check. Then they will find out that they have also cracked their UCI. In one night, UCI will be so unfashionable, no-one will touch it with a 10ft Vinco pole. Jesus, I'm in a weird mood tonight. Time to curb this shit and go to bed!
  10. It would work. But you wouldn't be able to X-up any more. Where's the fun in that? (Y)
  11. You need both. One reading is for non-drive side, the other (shorter I think) is for drive side. So 16 of each size (Y)
  12. Yeah, Factory DHs are pretty rubbish. Heavy and no grip really. But I have a Blue dragon on the front and it's nice. Pretty grippy and light-ish. I'd like to try a White Tiger on the back, the new tyres look like they might be ok judging by mine. But just go Maxxis (Y)
  13. Tempting. No, really it is. My BMX is really pissing me off at the moment.
  14. THIS ONE? Not very up-to-date though (Y)
  15. I believe you can order them from Hope through your local bike shop for £12. Or send the hub back. They will replace the pawls for free, but you'll have to pay postage and it might not get there in time. Not sure if you can order them direct from Hope, but it's probably worth a try (They might even send you some for free if you're very lucky!). Apart from that, I think you'll have difficulty finding anywhere that actually has them in stock, although you could try just ringing around several bike shops. EDIT: It appears that Wiggle have them in stock, although they call them Hope Paws

    Front Hops

Yeah I could just about, although I've not really tried for a while. I reckon I'll be better at it now, so yes. I just can't quite get the turn in. But I have a few things to look at, gonna go out and try in a bit (Shoulder's too broken to ride properly  ).

    What Viscosity?

Yeah, either just pump loads of water through the system, or attach your pump to the bleed pipe thing and pump loads of air through quite fast.
  18. Come to Manchester and buy my BMX
  19. That was cool! A bit of everything from massive gaps to natural to big ramp stuff to sweet tech stuff (one hand  ) to grinds. Awsome :)

    What Viscosity?

I think that water has a viscosity of 1.00 because that’s how they define the scale – Everything is given a rating relative to water (I think  ). Apparently, you can get rubbing oil for cleaning brass (Ie. Musical instruments) that is 0.6 wt or something like that – almost half the viscosity of water. So that should be pretty good, if you can get hold of any, although I think it comes in tiny bottles that are about 5ml. Might be worth looking for if you’re that bothered? Other than that, just use water, or any kind of mineral oil. It doesn’t really make much difference.

    Swtc Volume 2

I'm not really sure what the point was in that video? Some weird editing and no real riding. Fair enough if it was a trailer to a DVD or something, but it's not is it? Sorry to be so negative, but there's not much point in downloading the video when you could just wait for the full thing in September

    Merseytrial

Looks quite funny, because you are obviously pretty good on the back wheel, but you still need to do an endo to get the front up :) Keep it up

    Dual Monitors

Use a program called Ultramon. It's supposed to be really good, although I've never felt the need for two monitors
