That's rediculous suggesting you should kill her/let her die. I'm sure she doesn't wanna die. Click here for info about some other girl with the same problem. She's had a lot of surgery and her face looks ok now, and she's a doctor. I bet she's quite glad that she wasn't killed as a baby...

I'm suprised none of you have mentioned that the guy is most probably trying to scam you. Transactions that occur outside of eBay are completely unprotected by eBay's insurance if something goes wrong (Although I've heard it's pretty pants anyway). So he'll probably try and entice you with a high price and then maybe get you to send the item before the money clears, or pay through Western Union or something. Just ignore him, and save yourself the moral dilemma to boot  EDIT: When you answer questions, you have the opportunity to say whether you want it to be displayed after the item description, or not at all.

Oh god that handbags thread. Makes very interesting reading

Here's mine at the moment

I might be being stupid, but how does that spring thing relate to the chain problem? Given that all the links are from the same chain, essentially k is the same. But we're not talking about stretch, we're talking about breakages. The non-science way of working it out would be to say that chains only really snap in real-world situations when they're a bit worn (i.e. there are irregularities), so they snap on a worn bit. I think it would be reasonable to assume that a smaller chain would wear faster, simply because it goes around more times. So it would snap sooner. But in theoretical terms, with a brand new chain, what would the answer be?

You have 2 network cards?

I drive one-handed most of the time anyway. Phones are bad when you look at the screen to dial/text, not because you have to hold them in one hand. Having said that, you are supposed to drive with two hands on the wheel all the time  Woman driver?

That's happened to me too. Can get you into a lot of trouble if you don't reply...

I'm sure on Steve-A's video he tapped something quite big on the 24"?

What's the impedance on the amp? If it's within the speakers' range, you will be able to bodge I reckon. Although I don't really know. But I would have thought that big speakers would have a greater impedance and would be incompatible even if they could be physically wired up.

I think Buck was talking about T-Shirts...

Right. Firstly, I stand by the first thing I said about how the notes don't match up. They don't. Simple as that. If you watch it closely enough and play the piano at all, you will be able to stop loads of obvious instances. A very obvious example is at the end where he's playing Yankee Doddle Dandy and he's jiving about, dancing from left to right, when the tune doesn't change where it is on the keyboard at all. And if all that isn't enough for you, there is one instance about 75% of the way through it where he drops the ball and there is no sound. Well, if there is a sound, it's not the same kind of sound as the others. Definitely something up there. Still sticking by your guns eh? Well: Each ball bounces on the ground. The duration of each bounce (The time that each ball is touching the ground) is obviously the same for each ball. So explain how he plays some long notes and some short notes? It's part of the act. Doesn't matter if it's fake or not. He's a magician right? Their job is to fake stuff. Still good to watch. So what's the problem?

That's impossible though  (10ft) It would just be so stupidly hard that even if it was possible, it'd take you a life-time to learn it. And what's the point when you can just mime it?
-
Only if you do barspins the right way though (Y) Do them the other way and they'll get tangled up much worse... There doesn't seem like much point for doing bar spins. But I can see the advantage in braking power.
-
Yes I know. But what's that got to do with having the brakes on the front or the back of the forks?
-
That's a lot for a second hand bike. Although it does look pretty nice. Have you seen the bid history though? That guy reeeeally wants it. Or he's just bidding on it without intending to pay - like that carrot that looked liked a vagina that sold for £16000 (Y)
-
Doesn't Mr Leeson say it's for bar-spinning or something? I never understood that. I can't really see any disadvantages. Let us know how you get on (Y)

Well for a start it's difficult enough juggling 5+ balls anyway, let alone bouncing them. And then to add inch-perfection to each one is rediculous. Not by a human being. And then there's the fact that if you watch closely he throws the ball down and nothing happens (no sound). He does that at least once. And at the end he is moving up and down the keyboard even though the tune stays in the same place. Meh. Although it is still very impressive juggling and synchronisation.

Peanut butter on toast. There's nothing better when you've just got in (Y)

Although I don't really want to start the whole "shit BMX" thing again, I do think that, to the average person watching at home, street is more dangerous, exciting, cool et (I.e. More extreme). Obviously natural is harder and probably more dangerous, but in terms of what looks coolest, it's gotta be street. I vote pay your town council back for the benches you've destroyed through riding (Y)
-
Yeah, but you saw the laughs/applause he was getting. It's just part of the act. It was a fake. Although it's still very impressive timing it with whoever is playing the piano.
-
No-ones gonna sue anyone. Oh and Mark your link doesn't work (Y)

Sorry to burst the bubble, but I'm pretty sure the piano one wasn't real...
