Wow, cheers for the replies. I don't think it's that old. Second hand, but it's a Crystal one, so it can't be too old. So I get a mod chip from somewhere or another and install that somehow. Would THIS be the sort of thing I'm after? How difficult is the soldering? My soldering iron isn't too dainty... So software. Do I just download XBMC and EvoX and burn them to DVD, and then copy them to the XBox's HDD? I'm a bit confused how they all work. EvoX replaces the Microsoft shizzle when you turn it on? But pop a game in and that will work too? So how does XBMC work? And in terms of stuff like updates/codecs etc, can you connect to the internet to get them? Or do you have to do it via DVD-Rs? Lot of questions (Y)

I have. I had a cheap no-name stem on my (trials) bike ages ago. It had a sticker on it. One day I noticed (through the semi-clear sticker) that it had a crack running the whole length of it, and about half the way around. Needless to say, I didn't do much trials until I replaced it :P

Yeah, but the other guys weren't exactly small. It'd be the same sort of thing if it was me against, say, five 13-year old scallies. Like I said before, if you're significantly bigger/harder than "them", you'll have no trouble however many there are. Just go psycho (Y)

I don't think tape will work for rotor bolts, they'll be too small I'm sure... And I don't think I have any superglue. I do have toothpaste, but I'm very skeptical about that (Y) Nail varnish sounds good. I'm sure I can steal some from somewhere. I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers guys :P

Yo, just got an XBOX, and I thought it would be cool if I could use it as a media box thing for the front room. I've heard about XBox media player etc, and I was just wondering if I could use my Xbox for that stuff? I presume I'd need to chip it, can anyone recommend any good chips? Cheaper the better really. Not too bothered about running dodgy games, just the media stuff. But it has to play normal games too. Not arsed about Xbox live, really. So what are the options? I presume some people around here know. Or at least can point me in the right direction. Can I do it myself? How do you transfer stuff to it? DVD? Network? Can you file share on it? Will it play all my DivX movies and stuff. Even better, play them from other computers on the network. That might be asking a bit too much though... So yeah, anyone know about this shit? Mods, if you think this is bad (warez or whatever) then lock it/delete it whatever. But I'm not bothered about piracy. Just want to watch trials in the front room (Y)

A friend of mine crashed his car into a tree in some woods (by the side of the road). Car was a write-off, so he just went home and came back the next day with the tow-truck to take the car away. No more damage to the tree than a bit of missing bark... Anyway, a couple of weeks later, he gets a note through the door. A court summons for 1. Failing to report an accident 2. Leaving the scene of an accident 3. Criminal Damage (The Farmer who owned the tree was sueing for damages to the tree (Y) ) Stupid red tape everywhere in this country. But at least he got away with it. Farmer dropped charges for some reason.

It's not harsh. I don't really care if there are any more world rounds in the UK. I don't care if trials gets no coverage. I don't really care if trials dries up and there's only me in the country riding. It'll still be fun ^_^" To be fair, there are loads of people who need the money more than all the trials competition boys in their lycra suits (Y) So seeing as neither thing really affects me, I'd probably give the money to some charity :P

That would probably be the camera I would get if I ever wanted a new one, or something similar. I.e. One with a few more features (manual focus, apertures etc). However, there's definitely something to be said for having a small (ish) camera that you can take everywhere. With my camera it's just small enough to fit in your pocket, which is definitely a plus. Although if you already have the Casio one, you could buy this as a more "serious" camera :S
