  1. Haha, no, don't worry. Doesn't affect the random highlighting I always do. If anything it makes me waggle my mouse about more. You get a red line to draw with :) Look, see?
  2. I suppose. But if you have a 106 axle and it works, then it's a good thing, right? :) I know what you mean. I don't know how much faster Firefox is at rendering pages. On a fast PC, it's probably not really noticeable unless there's loads of pics (Firefox renders it straight away, whereas windows waits for all the images to cache themselves). Yeah, the plugins is the best thing, for me. I have a tabbed browsing thing (makes the tabbed browsing work, where the default is no tabs), mouse gestures (can do things with the mouse to open/close windows or go forwards/back etc. VERY useful for me), adblock (Allows you to delete any adverts on web pages - like the *cough* TF banners *cough* :( ). I dunno, if you aren't having any problems with IE, then you may as well keep it. I found that IE crashed quite a lot for me, but then I haven't used it for ages so maybe the newer versions are better (if they've updated it :( ). But I like Firefox, ever since I first got it, I've not been back to IE :)
  3. Faster More secure (There are loads of viruses around that specifically use IE browser exploits) Fewer popups (Inbuilt popup blocker) Built in search bar (Google, ebay, amazon etc) Tabbed browsing Ability to download stuff like shockwaves/flash etc just by clicking on where the thing is. Plugins <-- The most important thing for me - you can customise loads of things and basically make your browser much easier to use. The only problems are on some websites (Mainly ones which don't conform to web standards), where the page doesn't work properly. But that's on about 1% of sites, if that. To be fair, it's not very different to IE, it's hardly something you need to get used to. It does everything IE does, but better :(

    My New Leeson

Is that the old Leeson KISSS tensioner? What do you think of it?
  5. What's gan on here? Meks you wonder what it's ahll aboot!
  6. I think so, there used to be lines between each thread on the forum index thing, but there isn't any more. I guess it's all just part of the skin. Looks nice like this :(
  7. Even so, it won't compare. People use Firefox for the security and general niceness of it. Not the tabs (That don't even really work without plugins). Firefox > * I can't believe people still use IE, when Firefox is only 4.7Mb :)

    Linux

It's fun to play about with, and there's definitely a feeling of satisfaction when you get everything set up nicely (Fstab and stuff like that). But there are no real advantages. I suppose you'd be saving £100 quid compared to WindowsXP, but I'd be very surprised if anyone can get by 100% without Windows. I just have a play when I fancy a change, but I need Windows for Premiere, Photoshop (can't get used to the gimp) and just about any game. Having said that, there are some very neat things built into Fedora (yum springs to mind). Plus it's free. For a noob, I really recommend Knoppix. You can run it off the CD and it works really well straight from the go. Mandrake/SuSe are also good if you like your media stuff to work straight from the off. I have Fedora and it was a bitch even to get it to play MP3s.
  10. Yeah, I thought that without even seeing that you also thought that. How odd (Y)

    A Bit Short

I don't understand how people have the balls toi try a jump like that when they've probably never jumped before in their life (Y)

    My New Leeson

What's the geo on that? And how does it compare (lengthwise) to the zebdi? Plus is it just me that thinks that the front wheel looks smaller than the back?
  13. Haha, I saw that the other day. God it's awful! I want to know where you can get 10 cola bottles for 1p (Y)

    Disc Cable

I tihnk I'm just using bog-standard shimano stuff. It does the job 100% fine to be honest...
  15. I think that was the problem. To be a Conservative you have to be dull as dishwater, it would seem...

    Disc

I've not had any problems with fade with my Avid. I guess though there aren't many hills around here. Avids are immense, I can't see a Hope being better. And certainly not twice as good to justify the price tag (Y)
  17. I got mine when they first came out and it's fine, doesn't leak and I've not touched the seals.

    My Curb Entry

OK, didn't know if you'd seen the other thread (Y)

    Leeson Bb

Your best bet is to phone him (Eek!), and see what he can do. He'll probably tell you he can't change the BB shell though, without wrecking the whole design of the frame. Although maybe if he used a 100mm shell instead it would work?
  20. Shut up leave it stop digging Stop all this talk of revenge. Face it, you're a prepubescent fool with an attitude problem.
  21. It's an absolute disgrace that they should take away the pound coin! It's a symbol of this country and I'd rather die than use "euros". Bloody foreign-lovers in Whitehall, we should kill them all. /sarcasm. Seriously, do you know about the effect that being part of the single currency will have, or do you feel some kind of alliegance to the pound coin?
  22. What about Virus checkers? I just use the inbuilt SP2 firewall and AVG 7.0 (+Occasionally I run Adaware and Spybot) and I've had no problems at all with viruses/spyware.
  23. What the f**k? What is the 2 fingers even supposed to mean?
