I'm right foot forward. So, rolling up to the wall left foot forward/a bit up. Push down on your left foot (bad foot) to bring the front wheel up. As the front wheel hits the wall, you should be right foot forward. Someone good once told me that you should do a bit of a kick with your right foot as the front wheel touches. But that's the basics really. I'm rubbish though (Y) My biggest is about 38" or something, maybe less (with a touch). About 33" or something without.

You need to pedal with your bad foot to get th efront wheel off the ground, so that you end up with your good foot forward when you get the tap.

It's especially annoying on a forum, where you are wasting a lot of people's time. If you are on MSN, you're only wasting your friend's time trying to read it, and it might be slightly quicker to type, so it balances out. But the milliseconds you save typing in text on the forum wastes time for everyone who read it. I know it isn't much, but it's f**king annoying.

I think Tank Rider did that sort of thing and got validated within 24 hours or whatever. Getting validated is easy if you can talk about stuff. Fair enough if you know about the ins and outs of hubs and are willing to write an essay. But most of the new members probably aren't knowledgeable enough to give that sort of reply, and also aren't willing to write an essay. To be honest, you wouldn't expect to have to write an essay just to get onto a forum about bikes. Everyone knows that if you write posts with good spelling/grammar and you have stuff to say, then you'll get validated in no time. It's just that most new members seem to be young, and insist on writing one-line replies to pointless threads, in text speak. Anyway.

That's a pretty stupid thing to say. Doesn't make any sense. Although trials does seem to be overun by young people. Maybe trials is childish? Maybe I'm getting old. I suppose it depends how you define photography. But I would have said that just because he bought everything from a camera shop, doesn't mean that it's photography. I would just call it graphics or something, but I'm no expert.

I can always remember scallies hanging around bus shelters etc. Although perhaps it's only when you're a teenager that you notice this sort of stuff (Younger people don't get hastled so much)? I was wondering if anyone had any amazing tips for turning on the front wheel? My balance on the front wheel is OK and getting better, but I can't turn for the life of me. I know it'll mostly likely be a question of practise (like with turning on the back wheel - VERY hard to explain), but if anyone's got any tips, that'd be cool :D

Is there a reason why the front (sloping) bit of the chainstays doesn't follow the same plane as the downtube? I would have thought it would make more sense to put it in a straight line? Meh, I'm no engineer :D
