You don't need to reinstall windows. It's not very helpful to suggest things that are just a total waste of time (like the firewall thing earlier, and suggesting to reinstall Windows). I'm 90% sure it's a DNS thing. You connect to the wireless fine but you don't get an IP address from the router. Like Danny said, just leave all the settings as default (I.e. 'obtain an IP address automatically'). This is in network connections, choose your wireless card, properties, TCP/IP settings. If you need more of a hand, just shout but you should be able to work it out (or google it). If that doesn't work, log into the router settings and check that DNS is enabled, and that there's no protection on the router - I.e. Mac filtering.
