Yeah, I think it's gone far enough and now it's just people laying into Beau which is not really fair, however stupid he's been. That did cross my mind, so I'm not going to delete it. Sorry Beau. It can be made invisible but I'm not sure what the point is in that.

Yeah, the first 6.0 I had (Bepe's - which I think you also had?) was really slow. I since changed to another one and the difference was immense. It was so much faster (and more features too). I never really use bluetooth to be honest. I might have to try 6.1 when I can be arsed P.S. Maybe a longshot but do you know of an app that will let me type texts from my laptop using bluetooth? I know address book is/was supposed to be able to do it but it never seemed to work for me.

Can't dave85 machine some custom ones? It's probably worth a PM.

What's the bluetooth fix for? My bluetooth seems fine. I've got the Orange MMS settings cab, cheers though. Changing the OS is a bit of a faff for me since I use lots of programs that need reinstalling all the time. And then getting preferences right again etc. Not worth it for small upgrades. What's WM6.1 like though? Worth it over 6.0?
-
Yeah but what did you actually do to the buttons that made them work again? New keypad electronics? And I've changed the OS and the radio but I can flash it back fairly easily. But if it's easy to do myself I might just do that and not bother with the hassle of sending it back. Although those people in that thread make it sound like it's quite hard to take it apart and put it back together... Having said that, if I send it back, what are the chances they will just repair it? Or give me a new one? Because I'd quite like a new one to flog on eBay

It's like good cop bad cop. Now it's my turn to be the bad cop

Nothing interesting that hasn't been mentioned, but: Snowboarding XC a lot, most weekends - a bit of DH occasionally Climbing - quite a lot at the moment but it goes in waves. I'll go loads for 3-4 months and then get bored and not go for 6 months. Guitar, same again really. Go through periods of playing for at least an hour a day, and then months without touching it.

Just out of interest, is the old dude going to be OK?
-
Haha, I did consider that There won't be a speed limit as such, you just have to reverse safely. Like I said before, driving in reverse at 15 mph the steering is incredibly twitchy so any faster is just dangerous, regardless of the speed limit of the road.

I think I'm the only one who doesn't find dog pictures particularly funny. So I deleted 17 of them. Sorry to all those who went to the effort of finding a funny picture Back on topic then eh?

You can get certain random USB wireless adapters which work but it has to be the right one - I'll let you do the research. Or get an old xbox1 wireless adapter which plugs into the ethernet port. Or get a wireless ethernet bridge. Plenty of options, obviously the wire-into-the-laptop version is the cheapest way though.

lol, they're the exact same two things that's happened to mine, but I was hoping it would be fixed on warranty. I could probably take it apart and fix it myself I suppose. The green button doesn't work at all, and the ones above and below it have to be pressed really hard to register. How exactly did you fix yours?
-
Yeah I'll probably put 6.1 on at some point. But my phone is going back to Orange to fix the hardware buttons (I hope) so I'm flashing back to the default firmware first Jon have you tried the touchpal input? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336121 It's kinda like the HTC keyboard but a bit better IMO. It was free if you downloaded before Dec 7th but I have the ca if you want to try it?

Serves him right for keeping us all waiting so long I reckon. He still did pretty well though, I didn't think it was possible to make a trials bike cost more than £2k, especially without King hubs F+R.

Otis Spunkmeyer cookies? When the name has 'spunk' in it, you know they'll be good.

I don't think it is done through the union. But there are loads of night in Manchester which are only for students but they're independent of the universities. That's what happens when you have a town with 100 000 students...
-
Yay, finally! Looks really nice. Ouch P.S. No King on the rear? D'Oh.
-
You can practise just on the flat ground until you get the hang of it. Do an endo and then concentrate on smoothly letting the front brake off and pushing the bike so it sort of rolls smoothly through your legs. Don't have the back brake on at this point, only use it to catch yourself right at the last minute. When you've got it nailed on the flat, move to walls which are, say, 3ft wide. Then 1ft, then rails

No problem Whoa, didn't know there was a fix for it. Cheers Jon. Link to the thread?

It was all Pakistan's fault, lol.

Lots of places, just blag it. HMV do 10% if you sign up, Virgin records (Now Zavvi), Topshop etc

It's nothing to do with the university as such. Probably just some trendy night out in town. I've never heard of it before

Sorry, I wasn't having a go. I thought it was just funny how you wrote out such a long reply about failing your driving test
-
What's that got to do with this thread? Did you just want to rant about your driving test? Driving tests are bollocks though. 99% of the time, people crash because a) they're being an idiot or they lose concentration. You don't do either of those things in a driving test (hopefully) so it can't test what you're going to be like. You pass your test, then you learn to drive. Making the test harder won't make much difference - it won't stop people driving like twats after they pass and it won't stop people losing concentration because they're tired etc.
