wiggle have 5 carbon road stems. just go on their site and search "carbon stem" to have a look. They look exactly like eny other road stem, and upside-down they could work (at least geometricaly) for trials.

I use 3 different adresses, one Hotmail for junk mail and to use when signing up on less serious websites, another one for mails to friends and companies, and the school one for massive attachments(300 something mb's ), "companies" is usually internet shops or sponsors...

Well, I normally ride alone or with 1 or 2 other riders, who are about equally good. We've never been more than 10 riders, there aren't 10 OK riders around. We dont take beginners/small kids with us out on a street ride, since we want to ride the big stuff and actually talk. Me and Johan Brundin are helping the newbies once a week, on a naturals practice thing organized by the club. Well, help them if we can be arsed to, normally we just ride most of the time...

If you want to practice control on the backwheel, try backhopping without using the back brake. In a uphill slope it shouldn't be too hard. After a while you should be able to stay quite still on the backwheel for a few minutes. EDIT:.Just remembered, Vincent does this in a few vids.

Flat Koxx bars? Saw them there, they're just standard flat ones I haven't downloaded yet, but i know theres some awesome riding in there. Saw most of it live.

A bashplate protects a fair bit of the downtube as well as the freewheel/fixed cog/chain. And, you will propably destroy the mounts too if you remove it and fall down or sidehop onto the mounts on the chainstays.

Sometimes. If they get really muddy or something. For comps i wear monty-boots, and they get a go in the washing machine every now and then. EDIT:Shoes also shrink, be careful. The pixieboots are almost 1/2 cm shorter(measured on the outside) now.

If you finish top 3 in the "scratch" list (cadet and senior, they ride the same route) in the Worlds, and the jury think you have what it takes to ride Elite, you'll be moved up. Normally you are, but a very few people who has been riding "strategically" and dabbing around the courses and yet getting top-3 have been refused to move to Elite... Once you get to Elite you have to participate in 1 World Champs round every year to stay there. The same with Master, top-3 (and sometimes 1-2 other riders that has been riding exceptionally good) in Expert get moved up to Master. Peter

Benito did not participate. Cant remember who won Master 26", just that Martin Kleivard came 3rd.. Vincent was not signed up in time (only a month late...) and did not have a BIU licence. Quite surprising to see that he doesnt know how to enter a competition.. He thought that he could ride just because he's famous, and that we should do as they do in France even though we are holding a European Championship...
