  1. Just the olives / inserts as you say. I've had the same issue twice with these ti ones, although prior to that I fit some on my MT7s with no issues. Certainly not worth the hassle, the only annoyance is that you buy a full package through his site so you can't not 'purchase' them so to speak... But certainly don't bother fitting them. Forgot to mention I also bought some lever pivot bolts for my tech 3s that wouldn't fit. All in all, not great haha! Good to know they'd not pass the tarts QC. Let's be honest, ti really is a waste of money. I'm not even sure the top elite riders bother? But who doesn't enjoy bike fettling and pimpin'? Worst thing I ever did was move my bikes into my office
  2. Further on the clock fettling has occurred and I've now got the front feeling really good, much firmer lever feel. Just need to get the rear the same, although I think that's more down to the tape on the pads (only bothered doing the rear for now). @craigjames - Don't bother with the supplied titanium olives etc, I've had 2 leak now. The shrouds etc work as they should but overall his stuff isn't spot on.

    New bike

This looks seriously smart with the silver rims + levers, love the look of those bar/stem combos as well
  4. Further good points! I've also just discovered a slight leak on the front so that'd certainly a main culprit.. Doh!
  5. You could be right, I've never found braided to be a performance upgrade but in this instance it could be part of the issue. That also makes sense regarding the TZ calipers, I can't visually see it happening from above but doesn't mean it's not. However I had E4s before and found my mates TZs to have a much more solid lever feel hence the switch. Yeah I always make sure the pistons are fully returned, I can't comment too much here though as I'm coming from different calipers so could just be that (combined with different pads also). All of this is before I've even ridden them.. So take my thoughts very lightly haha.
  6. I'd say the same on the bite point + squish, I'm yet to ride them so can't really comment too much.. But initial impressions aren't great there. I did give them another bleed yesterday also but not a single bit of air so as you say, it's how they are. I've found the same with the pads, even with brand new rotors I've still got a tiny bit of contact on the front. I've added some tape to the rear pads and it's really bad, but should settle down after the tape's bedded down. I'm with you on the Ti, he also didn't send me the banjo bolts with this order. He can be quite difficult so I'm not bothering asking for the £20 or whatever back this time round.
  7. Thanks Craig. I really disliked the new levers when they were launched but they've grown on me for sure. I order from titanium planet, I'd advise to not bother ordering the titanium bleed nipples though as I've had 2 sets now and neither seal - https://titaniumplanet.com/en/ Ah so it's not just me with the squish then! I was planning to give them another bleed today before riding. The longer blades can't be helping with that.
  8. Stoked to try these out. I really wanted a silver set and I’m too impatient to wait the lead time (was advised 10 weeks then they added another 10). Bought a set of tech 4 E4s and got a pair of trial zone calipers, some titanium bling and jitsie pads. Bit of an arse of a job I must say! Lever feel is really nice, I like the lower profile of the reservoir too.
  9. I’ve had no issues with mine. Is your chain line decent?
  10. Cheers dude. It’s the longest bbb one, 110 from memory!
  11. So this bike has evolved somewhat. Had a fantastic week in Barcelona, dream bike for the job. Covered 20 miles+ a day. Hex
  12. I’d ordered a silver set through a friend’s trade account, but I guess black products are always going to be at the front of the production line!
  13. Mine just got pushed back another 10 weeks so have pulled the plug
  14. Unfortunately mine did this again after a few more rides. Have switched over to external now.
  15. So I got to the bottom of my creaking hub, simply needed to add some grease to the seat of each pawl (thanks @Daan). The dumonde hub oil wasn't cutting it.
  16. i9 help please: My rear Hydra is creaking under light load. Any ideas what to check? Im running a tiny amount of freehub oil, double springs. 135 x 12mm bolt through. Everything looks ok in there to me. I’ve just swapped the axle from a 135 x 10mm bolt in but had the same creaking on both set ups. @Nigelstreisand @Daan @Swoofty any ideas chaps? Also if any of you have upgraded the bearings do you know what to go for?
  17. I noticed yours, that bike is something else. I actually ordered a set after a few beers and have since been wondering if this is my most daft purchase to date. I also only just noticed today that Danny’s bash is on in reverse, I’m hoping no modification is required!
  18. Does indeed Ali, thank you.
  19. Ludicrous price aside.. Has anyone taken the plunge? 10 year warranty is appealing, although not sure that would cover trials use. I’ve seen Danny is running them, however as a sponsored rider he could be on his 10th set for all we know. My main concern is that they are hollow, the official test video shows they dent from a serious rock strike however still hold some impressive strength. I rarely catch a wall but it’s certainly a worry.
  20. Ok I’ve decided I fancy a set of these. Anyone know where or when they will be in stock? After a silver set
  21. April fools day is tomorrow Adam!
  22. That has to be up there as one of the best looking trials bikes. Love the spec too!
  23. Thank you both. Adam - I’ll try source the axle + end caps first but will reach out if no luck. Edit - All sorted. New axle + end caps on the way for both rear hubs. Cheers guys
  24. @AdamR28I’m just going to tag you in this immediately
