Hee hee, That brisa looks pretty funky although photoshopped, reminds me of the blue Giant there were pics of at one stage with just one huge orta oblong shaped tube for the frame. I'm really liking the look of that Kot! 2 Mono Trials (Y) Whats that S/S tensioner? A Surly Singulator bought by Koxx with one of their 'ST' stickers on it or something? *Edit oops just realised the disks are both Magura Martas, really must look more closely!

My Bulbs holding up fine, hardly ever skips, nice n strong and the repsonse is there when you need it although I'm not extreme. I'd rather a King but thats just for pimpness.

I've been thinking between these two brakes, all points raised here have really highlighted the pros/cons. One thing though, what does the Avid brake actually come with? The Caliper and rotor? Because I've seen people writing about choosing different rotors/cables/levers and all this. If I got an Avid I'd have to get a custom rotor anyway as I have a front Hope phatso hub with 5-bolt disk mounts. I'm just trying to work out how much it'd all cost ontop of the £50ish price on CRC or similar for the brake.

I can't sidehop yet but if I could it'd be to the left. The fender company 'THE' do plastic disk protectors for MTBs I believe and some people run em on their DH bikes, prolly only protects them from stones and mud though really, don't look to strong.

I thought Middleburns policy was to replace free of charge any snapped/cracked crank but if you've killed the splines/tapers/thread on either the B/B bit or the pedal bit they won't replace it or anything cos it's like human error because 'you' haven't tightened them up enough thus not their problem.

Nice, that looks cool. It seems more and more people are going for front vee brakes on Leeson 360 or reversed mount Pashley tvseries forks. The colour is good IMO except looks almost the same as your garden seats,table washing line!
