  1. How do you even begin to make these creations of yours? Grab a pile of images and chuck em together with some nice creative odds n sods?
  2. What happened to those 'All metal' RB levers people were talking about ages ago? The lever blade housing and everywhere that was usually carbon fibre was going to be made Alu wasn't it? I thought a few people on here had them...
  3. I want and I want! Mika Mäkinen makes these? Wow! How could they be brought into the UK?
  4. I don't know of any specifically, but maybe you could try and find or get a booster designed to fit a mod, because I seem to remember that some mods have really wide stays so wide boosters. I think onza mods are like that. Give it a try?
  5. Reminds me of those 'Bonz' cranks a bit, with the carbon fibre inserts. I do quite like that bash though.
  6. Not quite the answers I was going for! Haha, I'm asking whos school has closed on account of the snow!
  7. I'm at home now, at 1 O'clock because school's been cancelled because of all the snow, except for a few people that are re-taking their modular science exams! Who else has/had a day of school or College?
  8. Police round here are usually alright, usually its just a, come on lads, move on please, we're getting harassed by the old folks on the phone and theres nothing we can do about it. Once they even pulled up by a wall on the road and wind down the window and the driver says "My colleague says, well done, you're very good" or something to that effect to jack (trialking on here). Tis bad that you lot have been booked for riding, they should realise that all we're trying to do EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US no less, is to ride smoothly and nail our lines with grace, most times even without the use of a bash and just SOFT grippy tyres! They should start on the real problem, the chavscum. They're so easy to pick out, it's silly! Flat peaked hats raised to 45%, baby blue and white or pink hoodys and trousers and makes like burberry, schott,Lonsdale, nickleson and Mckensy! topped off with trousers tucked into spotless white nike tns or other make like Reebok workouts and either smoking or drinking all the time and swearing their grade 1 shaved skin 'ed mouths off!
  9. I think he was going for that 'other' meaning for people to think haha. It looks like the bottom end of that's been on fire! Still looks mighty tasty generally though.
  10. Yeah I saw about it on tv, on the news of all things. Said they've named it Cruz or Cruise or whatever because: either it was concieved on a cruise, named after Penelope Cruise or her ex. husband Tom Cruise or named after a spanish star, some woman with the second name 'Cruz' but pronounced "Cruth". Some other things were mentioned but I can't remember.
  11. Yeah all of those UK bands are good, except The Killers are American but still good. I like Kasabian, but I also listen to that lot.
  12. My biggest's 5'6" but thats from 3 pallets to 1 so probably a little less than that.

  14. So are the Maxxis minion super tackys going to be/are the same price as CCs? If so I'm getting another for definate when mine runs out. But if its from SuperCycles that means a £6 postage charge  .
  15. You know what would be funny if his mouth stuck to the ice and the stupid idiot was stuck like that! He'd look like such a fool!
  16. No snow down here! Although yesterday it snowed for about 30 seconds and this morning there was ice on our pond and as I know from my ride last night it's been freezing! Hoping for snow tomorrow/Tuesday!
  17. Hi Guy, I've had my RB lever for over a year now and it's still working perfectly, it hasn't snapped or cracked and the seals are fine, even though when looking into it, it looks dusty, no problems here! I stripped it from the red colour to just the bare alu and shined it, looks nice. Yes, I got it from Hastings cycles.....£45 or something down from £60 ish.
  18. I think the frame and colour of it are quite nice, but the spec on that looks terrible! Those orange lined tyres! The bar and stem look like cheapo no-name jobbies. The forks should be black. I'm sure it would build into a nice bike if you threw some money into it. Edit: The cranks and bash are still nice as ever, probably running a nice raceface BB too...
  19. The strongest rims out there have got to be Mavics, but being a thinner width make pinching easier (it seems) but also don't give as much grip as wide rims as the profile isn't as wide and the rolling resistance is more as there's more bounce in the tyre slowing you down. Wide rims are good for all of this but some say that because the actual rim is wider there is more leverage for spoke bending if you fell on the side of it of hit it or something. I'm moving to a 38mm wide Ronnie from a Mavic D521 which is 29.1mm wide anyway soon.
  20. So is there alot of snappages or breakages of these brakes? As I'm thinking of getting one. Cheers.
  21. I'm in exactly the same situation, backwheeling about 26-27" when my brake will lock and hold the backwheel. I'm not sure what techniques apart from front bumping I can use. For small things I sometimes forward hop but any larger and I try to use my feet like: power with right, left and then up with the right or power with left then up with right as I'm right footed. Any help appreciated (Y)

Why not just ask them politely to fit a differently coloured shell for you? I'm sure if you give em a call and send them the hub with some money in a jiffy bag or something they'd do it for you. Sound like a good bunch of guys!
  23. I've always ridden bikes, my first memories are me riding bikes. I learnt to ride when I got me dad to take the stabilisers off a lil purple bike when I was 3 and steadily got bigger bikes every year just to ride around as you do when you are little for birthdays. Got to the age of about 11 when I had some raleigh thing and made tiny jumps in the local woods which me and a mate would jump, we also made little ramps in the garden and things...got a GT agressor which I used for street but couldn't do anything good then after that I bought myself my first trials bike inspired by Martyn and Martin on tricks n stunts and also saw people in MBuk riding it. Joined this forum and continued to ride on my newly bought second hand Pashley 26mhz. I've now been riding for a couple of years with one friend joining me along the way in the following of our sport. I'm now running a Planet X Tibo frame and with new wheels and other parts on the way! Roll on 2005!
  24. My 'chocolate foot' to quote the Mart's word for it is my right foot. I wouldn't call left or right goofy/regular as that is skater term and means something completely different. Also I don't think that something that is supposedly 'goofy' would have more people with it (poll results currently 50 for right and 37 for left) as that sorta word is usually associated with things that are not usual, abnormal or what have you. :P"
