  1. PinkBike link added to original post for anyone who can't view on mobile Anyone know how to use embed code on forum posts & can embed the pink link? Link: http://www.pinkbike.com/video/392855/ Code: <iframe width='500' height='281' src='http://www.pinkbike.com/v/embed/392855/?colors=c80000'allowfullscreen frameborder='0'></iframe>
  2. I was also thinking PinkBike, works on mobile & no ads 9 I think, if you count Burton Upon Trent, I get around a fair bit for work, at least 3 of the clips were filmed in lunch breaks Yeah you didn't do a bad job & you've got a mention in the YouTube description, you lucky boy haha
  3. Vimeo have now got music copyright match stuff, after it uploaded & processed it sits pending, while you choose whether to appeal against it as fair use or not (which is only officially decided when you are taken to court for breach of copyright).. But the youtube version should be viewable, in HD on mobile as well as on PC etc, just not in Germany apparently
  4. Hi all, Here's my latest street edit, filmed in all the different places I've been riding in the last quarter of 2014. Not a masterpiece but hope you like it! Pinkbike link added for anyone who can't watch on mobile: www.pinkbike.com/video/392855/
  5. Yes dudes, love it, flowing lines a plenty
  6. I ran my fourplay without a top cap for months. Plenty of DH riders used to tighten their setup up with a headlock & then remove the headlock after. Thankfully I have an Arcade now so it has plenty of room for running the hose through
  7. Hi G, I managed to watch the video you made of the gameplay on someone's phone earlier while out riding. It's looking really good! Unfortunately the video say's it has been removed & the game download is no longer available, are you ironing out a few glitches?
  8. Good stuff dude, keep it up! Riding's getting well good on the console I feel a trip to Manchester coming on
  9. I noticed this online not too long ago.. didn't do a bad job really. Just need certain people to be forced to watch it
  10. Really glad that people enjoyed themselves & really got involved from the start, even with that initial downpour! (It wasn't looking good at 10:45!) Thanks to everyone who made it to the jam, I was blown away with the riding that went down! Too many stand out moves to mention! Thanks to the judges: Luke Cockshott, Mark Westlake & Flipp Another thanks to Mark for helping me run through route options beforehand, spending so much time filming & taking some photos. It will be great to re-watch some of the awesome stuff that went down & see what you guys got up to on the Saturday! Massive thank you again to the jam sponsors: Phoenix, TrialTech, Tarty Bikes & Inspired for providing such awesome prizes! I think most people got a jam tshirt & it was cool to be able to give out spot prizes (grips & bash guards from Inspired & Trialtech and chains, puncture repair kits, multi-tools & tubes were definitely a good call by Tarty!). Stand out riders that made the final placings were: 1st place - Ben Travis - Winning: Phoenix PRC Tee, OBP Sealed Platform Pedals, Inspired Lock on grips, TartyBikes Multi Tool, KMC Z610 Chain & 2 inner tubes 2nd place - Andrew Chai - Winning: Phoenix PRClean Tee, Trialtech Sport Lite bashring, 661 Raji Gloves, Trialtech foam grips & inner tube 3rd place - Aaron Brown - Winning: Phoenix beak beanie, Inspired Kevlar Pivotal Saddle, Inspired Lock on grips & inner tube 4th place - Ross McArthur - Winning: Phoenix sweatband, Trialtech Sport Lite pedals, Inspired Lock on grips & inner tube Hopefully I'll be able to put on another jam at some point in the future. This is what Phoenix is about! Support the brands that support you & your sport. Thanks, Ian
  11. Yeah best not to approach central London from the north side. If you go round further out & approach from the south east/west, might have more luck. We've moved onto Rothsay street (Meakin estate)
  12. So yeah, weather is perfect... Moving on from the meeting spot of Munton Road now to plan B. Southbank Session
  13. Morning all, there is free parking on Great Dover street, Spurgeon Street & Balfour street, among others. (Lots of roads permit holders only Mon - Fri, this means free on weekends unless it says you can also pay at machine) all very near the meeting spot. Webb street also near by & free at weekends
  14. Just to confirm, yes the jam will go ahead regardless of the weather... Let's hope the rain holds off
  15. Elephant & castle is really close or you can easily cycle from Waterloo if you meant a main station As a few of the guys have hinted towards there's no set finish time & it's all down to how long people wanna ride for. I expect we will wrap things up in terms of challenges & prizes by 5/6pm but there will be a large focus on spot challenges & prizes throughout the day so it won't be all about 1st, 2nd & 3rd Look out for a prize update tomorrow! In terms of road closures I guess this is the main info (found via that link on above post, to the prudential ride London info): If it helps I rode street in London last year when the same event was on, drove in & parked in a similar area & it wasn't too bad. Any day apart from sunday & I guess London would be a nightmare, but it was just normal London busy. While the roads are closed you can obviously still cycle along them & use footpaths so it's only the journey in & out that you need worry about. Last year we just jumped in with the cyclists in the official "Prudential ride london" ride (It was the first day of the 24 Tour).
  16. Edit felt really long. Guess the minute long intro didn't help with that
  17. UPDATE ***NEW MEETING POINT*** So it turns out Saint Mary's churchyard is fenced off as part of the Elephant & Castle leisure centre redevelopment plans... No bother, we have moved the meeting point to a nearby spot of Munton Road. Updated on the original post with map & google link, as well as on the Phoenix Facebook page We have a pretty cool prize selection from Inspired, TartyBikes, Trialtech & Phoenix so big love to these guys for getting involved! Prize details to follow this week
  18. Meeting point announced on the Phoenix Facebook page & also added to main post
  19. For all the details please see the thread in the "Member organised rides" section of the forum. Updates will also be posted first on the Phoenix Facebook page including the meeting point which will be announced this Saturday (03/08/14) See you there!

  22. Phoenix Riders Co will be hosting their first street jam on the backstreets of London in just a couple of weeks and you’re invited to come along and get involved! Inspired, Tarty Bikes & TrialTech have all got on board & there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, as well as prizes for spot challenges set en route. When is it? Sunday 10th August 2014 @10:30AM Where? Munton road, London What’s the format? It’s a jam, the route will be revealed on the day. Turn up, ride how you want to, session what you want to & get involved in the spot challenges, if you want to. Who is the jam for? This Jam is for all trials riders who like riding street. This doesn’t mean “Street trials” only, ride how you want to. It is an alternative to the traditional comp, where lines are encouraged, not sections. How will you decide the winner? There will be at least 3 judges. As it stands these will be Phoenix Team riders: Ben Rowlands, Luke Cockshott & Neil Tunnicliffe. Offering a good mix of riding styles/experience. The exact judging criteria is top secret, turn up, ride hard & get involved. Push yourself and you will get noticed. Where exactly in London are we riding? As previously mentioned, the route will be revealed on the day & the meeting point will be revealed the week before (03/08/14), keep an eye on the Phoenix Facebook page for more details as the Jam nears. Rest assured that the riding spots are being carefully selected to suit all riding styles & will mostly consist of lesser known spots, out of the city centre. What do I need to bring? You will need a bike… Not just to session the riding spots but also to keep up while we travel between stops. This includes parents/Guardians if they are attending. A bag - There will be prizes, if you’d like to take something home, make sure you bring something to carry it in! The usual – Food, drink (or money to get these), tools & a spare tube etc. We’d like to think these are self explanatory but you are in charge of yourself. We will announce a meeting place on 3rd August, it’s up to you to get yourself there & then get home again when it’s all over. Your manners – yes we’ll be taking over various spaces around London but watch out for pedestrians, security guards, Police & wandering tourists, don’t give us a bad name. Thanks & see you there! Ian Phoenix Riders Co
