  1. I may be up for it, depending on who goes to Notts etc.
  2. I think theres quite a difference in sponsorship deals between what an "online trials shop" can offer compared to one of the smaller "trials specific" manufactures of products can do. I can only speak of the experience I have had with the FP setup, not sure how the other smaller manufacturers go about about things. I'm reguarly sending bits of to certain riders who have a lot of experience with trials, to assist in the testing and development of new ideas with products. Its not a case of "you can have it for 90% rrp" nonsense, but more of a process of ironing out problems before bringing a new product onto the market. With the rider more involved with the whole setup, they should naturally help to promote that brand. This is much more valuable in my eyes then having a broader range of sponsored riders purchasing products for a discounted price and riding about with stickers and tee's etc. Ill shutup, I've just confused myself!
  3. Ill see if I can make it, back in the vicinity by then There should be a rule preventing bigman from changing his name! I was thinking, who the f**k is Helios
  4. My manualing skills were average on my 24, with a big fat maxxis on the back. Then, I changed to a different tyre, which rolls so much better. Now I got manuals dialed properly
  5. Winter riding defiantly has its plus sides, I really like it Being back at uni for the wintermonths, gives me the oppurtunity to ride totally different places to what there is at home, with different people. Cant beat a good old winters night ride

  7. Frame weight - I know that 2650 grams (give or take a few). Which is fairly heavy, but then again, theres quite a few extra bits Mike asked for. If I knew there would be pics with it in black, Id have actually done a decent job spraying it, and have applied the decals! Im never ever agreeing to have a frame done by a certain time ever again. It was a long week . Im still only about 90% happy with it, few things such as curvy tubes that just werent working But, its looking good finally built up As for whether eccentric dropouts will be available in the future - NO
  8. Maybe he has a frame with an adjustable wheelbase?
  9. I reckon ZOO's. They say there available mid september, so thats only a week away. Surely you can wait that long

    Rim Jam Pads

I best not say too much, but from what Ive seen they look well thought out and different to whats out there currently. I believe Chris is keen to to use the same material as before.
  11. Thats ok Joe Not a problem at all That was fun
  12. Hope Mini's can be made to an awesome brake, just leave it and give it time. Mono trial is probably your best bit, but Id personally go for the older Mini's.
  13. To push the limits of what is possible? You never know, could become the standard one day They may well not work at all, but from first impressions, they do hold suprisingly tight. We'll have to see
  14. If i remember rightly, i just went in a shirt and jeans. Its only a part-time job at the end of the day! Woah Thinking of it, I havent wore a tie since the last day at school

    Frame Coating

Powder coating certainly is the way to go for finishing off a frame. Very tough finish, thick and smooths off all the joints. It DOES chip, but no where near as easily as a sprayed finish.
  20. Might have been that guy a Pure. Ask wally for his number. I used to go to KES sixth form in Lynn, was sweet there!
