  1. Yep, it sure will be. The team is going to the Silverstone, Hockenheim and Fiorano events this summer. Its was regarded "unnecessay" for us to wind tunnel test it and develop any aerodynamics, due to the relativly low speeds involved. I personally have an interest in aerodynamics, and would have loved to do some aero work on it, but our time scale wasnt kind enough for that.
  2. I like CAD This was my last project, styling the bodywork for the uni's Formula Student car. A few screenshots of various views, with proposed livery. The best thing about this project is that its being made and will be raced! Currently in final stages of the full size clay model.
  3. I am shitting it regarding a few weeks time when I head off to Italy for 4 months. I am also increadibly excited and its gonna be absolutly awesome, but the first week is gonna be rather weird. My Italian isnt quite up to scratch either
  4. When you read this wallly, give me a shout. Jon, did you ask your rents?
  5. Sheringham! Nice Jon, but your echo was better

    Trashzen T-shirts

I must say, I am rather fond of my orange Trashzen T-shirt. It has rather a nice fit to it.
  7. Pencil Wally and myself in for Sheringham on Sunday.

    My Ride

Those tyre were what came on it originally, so when I do finally get round to replacing them, I will get something better. I dislike Nokians with a passion! The sprocket is a 18tooth Surly, with a prototype tensioner (a simplified Rohloff effectively). AS FOR THE GRASS I put it down to the wonderfully rich soil of the fens. Its used to be even nicer years back though, mum has let standards slip of late

    My Ride

All the same stuff, but a different colour scheme for this summer!
  10. Wally and I plan to ride wisbech, open offer to see if there are any others locally that wish to join in?

    Trials Dvd

Going off of some of Sebs previous creations, trials videos and websites, Ive no doubt this would be one of the most viewable trials dvd's theres been. I get what your saying with no people/bags in backgrounds, and avoiding large group rides, as it will make the dvd better to watch. As for riders, of course it'd be good to see the usuall top guys in new and different locations trying unseen lines, but maybe some of the lesser known riders too with their unique styles could be quite good, blending the different styles and ways of riding.
  12. I disagree! Vee brake, on a light grind. My heatsinks have worn about 3mm in nearly 18 months. (and it works f-ing awesomely)
  13. It all looks very linear, which is fine, but Id have thought that a more creative idea would be better for an online portfolio. My point being that you want something that is individual and would stand out, whereas I could see 8 out of 10 portfolio sites being of a simlar structure/layout. Im currently in the process of developing ideas for my personal portfolio website, want something simple and clean, but its hard to design something which is unique and works well.
  14. I dont have much of an opinion, though I would go for the iMac due to the larger screen, but I do have my own question regarding mac laptops. I have an eMac, specced up fully, and am thinking about getting a mac laptop, either ibook or macbook, as its gonna be sooo much easier to take with me abroad. Ideally I like to do a straight swap for something, as funds are seriosuly limited. My question is, does anyone know any mac places that offer part exchanges or would prove useful to ask?

    Carbon Rotors.

I believe its more the fact that they perform poorly in wet conditions, hence the use of steel discs in the rain.
  16. Geometry is the same as the ET24. Very nice looking bike and rides really well.
  17. 15th march? Please can it be extended till easter time?
  18. I ride a fair bit of xc stuff. Its a lot of fun actually, specially the specially built trials in Wales. Been to Coed y Brenin 3 times now, mostly in Winter (riding the mountains in snow IS awesome). Probably heading up Scotland in the coming months for 4 days riding some of the 7 Stanes stuff.
  19. Those pics pretty much sum up the day. Repeated tapping and sidehopping of similar sized walls, rider after rider. The ride was quite cool though, found some cool little sections with a few others to keep me entertained
  20. The problem Ive found wih the Rohloff (and by the looks of things this) is that there are quite a few individual parts (some which can be combined together) that require manufacturing, possibly one of the reasons for the high price? Also, that stinger one looks less substantial then the Rohloff.
  21. Looks like you guys had such a fun day. Makes me wanna get out on mine now, but theres nothing like that anywhere near us back home
