  1. second hand T-pro. then improve it as you improve. ebay t-pro older t-pro on ebay another t-pro
  2. new members can only use NMC, so there is no other place to post this type of topic, there is no real need to get shirty about it. once you get validated, you are able to post in chit-chat, where there are hundreds of simular topics. new members do not have that option.
  3. if we tally them up, there be easily into the hundreds. you don't even need to use the search, just scroll down there's bound to be one on the front page.
  4. all the questions on here "which is better mod or stock?" "v's or maggies?" "whats the best trick you an do?" "whats the worst thing you've broke?" "What colour is a RED fire truck?"
  5. i use a fairly low pressure on the rear for extra grip, but its just hard enough to prevent my 16 stone body slamming the rim into the ground and lips. on the front i used a much higher pressure, not sure why, i just tried it once and loved it, its easier to just pump the tires up too hard, and then let more out when your riding, saves taking a pump with you.
  6. i've got an onza carbon fibre one, fits fine, but for some reason my wheel seems to be just a little bit to small so my breaks have to be angled
  7. i've got that bike, and i got some black nail polish, and some white nail polish, (about £1 each) then added a little bit of white to the black, and mixed it till it was near enough the same colour, its a quite good match, but it dried a lot more glossy than the rest of the paint and stood out so i got some fine wet and dry and just took the shine off it. doesn't look too bad, i was thinking of re-painting it soon anyway. hope this helps.

    How Do You...

if only there was such things that you cold place over your hands when riding, which would offer protection and extra grip without limiting your dextarity...........
  9. i've been grinding my rims for aobut 3 years, and i've always taken the wheel off, removed the tire, ground it, put it back together, and then re adjust my wheel. i never tried doing it with the tire and wheel still on don't any of the shards of metal get into the tire?. cheers for the tip, i won't be as hesitant to re-grind my rims now.
  10. i mostly just check it for about 15 mins when i'm checking my e-mails, ebay, or doing work, but when i'm on a computer at college i spend the majority of the lessson on here, i try to keep it to a minium otherwise i find myself spamming and posting pointless replys to topics.

Pads: £5 Green Trials Polymer Compound pads Time used: 2 hours Rim used: monty? grind: fresh that day Brake used: Magura 04 water bleed What is your opinion of a working brake:Good bite and hold not noisy! How do they compare to previous pads you have used: better bite, but no hold at all. review: good if you only want to stop or slow down from roling, not good to catch you from a gap or lunge, what can i expect from a £5 pad? i did a small gap and landed on the back wheel, my bike just came out from under me and left me on my back and elbow they're the sort of pad you put on your bike if your trying to sell it wuith working breaks, and you don't have any old ones. wouldn't reccomend anyone wastes their money on them, they're worn down loads already too, only ridden with them for half an hour. 12. what did batman say to robin before he got into the batmobile...? Get inthe car robin!
  13. i fell off and broke the ability to use the search tool, its really annoying, any solutions welcome...
  14. i've had the same maxxis innertube in my back wheel for over 5 months now, and the halfrauds innertubes are cheap quality. i'd rather get a decent tube that will last, it just saves the hastle of having to take the back wheel off replace the tube, put it back in and re-align the whel and possibly breaks.
  15. yeah any 20" tube will do, but as its a rear i'd be more inclined to go for a higher quality one, like a maxis waterweight or a kenda one. I reccoment you avoid the cheap ones from wilko or halfrauds for a rear wheel.
  16. just out of interest, how much did that tar cost, and where did you get it from, i reckon theres enough to split between all the riders on here, and last everyone like 10 years or more, i've got a chunk aobut the size of a mobile phone, and i've used it for like 3 years, and i haven't even noticed it getting any smaller. just a tip, if your using tar and a ground rim, try using some harder pads, i used koxxbloxx browns on my old tared ground rim and it was ace

i'd like to know the difference between the green ones and the red ones, (other than the colour) i've asked the sell, just waiting for a reply. i'm quite tempted ot buy a pair of both edit: just bought a pair of green ones, i'll set them up and let you know how they are in the new 2 weeks or so... just got a reply from the seller of these pads; "Hello, ill let you into a bit of insider knowledge. If you go onto tarty bikes and look at their pads, all but 2 of them are made in the same factory as mine. some are 3 times the price, but I am not a trial rider, so I am not sure of the properties of the compound. Try them if you dont like them send them back, even if you have used them"
  18. before you buy a new anything, take it appart and have a go at fixing it, if you break it, or can't fix it, then you haven't really lost out, then you can buy a new one, i'd deffinatley try a water bleed though. did you notice any fluid leaking from anywhere on the break, like the lever or the pistons
  19. nice video, real decent riding there. you didn't really need to used the tape measure to show how high the walls were, we can work out how tall the walls are by just looking at them. liked the bit where you were basically stuck, hooked over the wall, then managed to get to bash. some real decent hights there though, well done, nice editing too, no annoying effects. and a decent tune too. enjoyed watching it.

anyone got / know anyone who's got or used a pair of maggie pads for a fiver? i found these pads on ebay and there only £6.50 posted, wondering if they're gonna be any good, doesn't matter if they don't really last long as they're so cheap i'd buy like 3 pairs at a time, but before i get a pair just wondering if anyone has used them yet? cheers...
  21. i used to ride my bmx to school everyday, and on average about twice a week i get shouted at by old people for riding on the pavement. a couple of times they felt the need to stand in the middle of the path with their arms out to prevent me from riding past them,(i just went on the road and got back on the pavement after, but this one time this guy who was about 80 odd with a stick, and as i rode past me he started shouting and grumbling, then tried to hit me over with his stick, f**king agressive old person, i thought it was more funny than anything, but i don't understand why he'd do that. some of them are just insane, others are fine, i get on with a few old folks around my area,
  22. get some pics of the face gash on here
  23. no offence but muels echo lite looks way way nicer, you bike does look nice, just not anywhere near as nice, putting the two pictures together puts your bike to shame, i love the forks on muels echo. how much did your set up cost?
  24. try riding up your stairs at your house, or there are a couple of indoor skate and bmx parks, which aren't all that bad, skate and ride is indoor, and the front is indoor buy you have to pay to get in there. strap an umbrella to your bike,
  25. its not a bad set up, i'm not really a fan of bikes with seats, but you could put it up at around £400, and take offeres, it depends where your gonna be selling it you'll probably get ripped off on e-bay, the only place you'll get a decent amount for it is probably here, but you gotta get validated first
