I liked that, I have been waiting for a video of your lush monty in action. Some smooth riding there, I love small rides on my own every so often as they allow you to experiment with new techniques and stuff.

I like that a lot, bet its great fun on the streets.

The picture quality on mine is very good both on the TV and the computer, and there is no such noise from the cassette compartment.

Same here. I noticed there were quite a few clips in there that were really good but not used in the DVD, I think he should have just put them in anyway as extras or something.

I have just bought a Canon MV790 brand new for £200, its my first mini DV cam and Im very impressed. It has a 16:9 true widescreen mode, night mode, digital effects option, plenty of optical zoom etc etc. Its everything you would need for trials videos. I also recently bought a firewire capture card and 6 pin to 4 pin cable and its so easy to capture now. Its fast and really nice quality. I got hold of a fisheye lens too to make things a little more interesting. If I had the dosh, I would buy something like a Canon XM2 but thats not gonna happen anytime soon.

Your certainly not in the wrong, I am the same. Left foot forward, sidehop to the left although I have been doing them to the right recently but it just doesnt feel right up walls to me as I am always scared of hitting the mech. The only reason people say its wrong, as mentioned above I think, is that your foot can catch the wall on the way up easier, hindering your height. I feel this is just something a few people experienced and its spread as look at Neil Tunnicliffe, he can sidehop over 50" and does it the 'wrong' way.

Nice video, some good riding and I loved the whole chilled feel to it-just you and the bike. The editing was good too, I enjoyed that.

Technique looks fine to me, just keep building up to higher rails and ones that are further apart now. The other clips look pretty good too, and your brakes are very noisy.

Nice video there, some really good riding going down. Really nice camera quality too, and the editing was good. I wish you had got rid of that border in Premier though, looks better without it.

Quite big, as mentioned above wear a helmet if you can, it boosts your confidence and most importantly protects your noggin.

I found that a little boring, as there wasnt much editing. There needed to be more effort to make the song fit the riding/titles, and you need to cut out the 'adjusting' when you are preparing for the move, show just enough of one move then move on to the next. If you want to show time has passed while you are balancing etc then just use a fade transition, makes it much more interesting to watch, nobody wants to watch a minute of balancing. With more time spent on the editing, your next video could be a lot better. The riding was pretty good. Dont take my comment to heart, as it is just my opinion. I am only trying to give constructive criticism based on what people have mentioned about my first couple of videos. Hopefully it will help you.

Nice, but I prefer the look of my Czar. Yours looks nice though, I think I may spray mine as I am bored of the silver colour. Something like red or yellow, a little different.

That wasnt bad, the only thing is that song has been used to death, but I like it nevertheless. Some good riding.

I agree. I wear gloves in Winter all the time as it isnt too hot, but in Summer I hate wearing them because its so hot and I get silly tan lines on my arms where my gloves and t-shirts have been. If I dont wear them when its hot my hands get really slippy though, so its a lose lose situation.

Wow I saw your other post yesterday with the unfinished one and I was waiting for this. I loved that, impressive how much effort and time you spent taking the pictures, went so well with the msuic too. The music skipped a bit near the end, Im guessing thats where you spliced it to fit the video? Good job.

I agree, it was a little over-edited for a trials video but I liked it nonetheless. I suspect the next one will be even better.

Very very impressive. Immense riding right there. It seems everyone has switched from kings/older hopes to the hope pro 2 hub on the back, they sound so good too.
