Thanks for the comments guys, I planned to get on the train and go elsewhere but the weather etc stopped me. Next video will have more places and bigger riding. I always think every video I have made was good when I just finished filming/editing it but then when I watch it a couple of days later I feel disappointed as none of my videos show my riding how I want them to. Nobody to ride with and shit local spots really do drag me down, a lot of the time I feel like quitting, but the joy I get from riding makes me carry on. Oh well, filming for the next video will be in better places, this time I really do mean it. Thats my promise to myself.

Fair doos, I didint say this video would be different from anyone elses, just different from my own other videos in that the song is faster and the editing is a little diferent. Also, some of the moves are different too... More comments welcome.

Thanks, glad you like it. I will try and ride out of town for my next video. The reason I made this video was to ride local spots in different ways. Oh and I do have a helmet, I wore it in the last two clips.

Hey guys, here is my new video filmed over the past couple of days. I have tried to include varied moves such as spins and stalls rather than just gaps, sidehops etc. I have experimented with the editing/song too. Tell me what you think. Filename is 'Video Five'. tv.isg.si Cheers, Luke.

Thanks, nice to see a reply thats related to the topic. Nah just kidding, I suppose that top gear thing is mildly related to one of my pictures. I dont have photoshop, so I cant really adjust the colours. They were straight off my camera.

They record onto a memory card, no tapes there. Its a very cheap cmaera as you can probably tell, but if you watch any of my videos you will be surprised how good the video quality comes out on the computer.

Yeh the puzzle pic is one of my faves. I am using an olympus FE-110, nothing special. I apologise for the size, I didnt realise they would be so big when I posted them in the topic.

I am a complete novice to photgraphy as I prefer video but anyway I thought I would exeriment with a few pictures, all taken today: My video camera; Random cup; Homer Simpson bottle opener; Icy pond; Lampost and clear sky; Mitsubishi badge; My bike near snow; Tarty headtube; Tree at the front of my house; Close up of puzzle; Rock; Spotlight on dads mitsubishi; Wingmirror; I know they arent amazing, but let me know what you think, constructive criticism welcome.

Mine was rubbish just after I had fitted it, and it was set up perfectly according to the manual. Its because the pads have a shiny new layer that needs srubbing off, just like most new pads on any brake. I just poured cold tap water over the rotor and caliper and then rode really fast a couple of times and hit the brake hard. It soon made a strange noise and now it has been amazing ever since I bought it about a year ago.

Throw your weight up harder? I dunno. Maybe TRA can tap it so high because he is just a powerhouse.
-
Everyone can tap a high bb bike, you just need to hit the wall lower. It will feel weird for a while but you will get used to the technique. Just hit the wheel slightly lower than you normally would, then the backwheel wont be so tempted to loop from under you before you get chance to properly take off.

Doesnt work for me either, I have tried media player, Divx player, quicktime etc etc. By the way Dan you havent added Wallys entry onto your first post.
-
OK video didnt watch it all though as the effects got annoying. I think all the best videos have only basic effects but in the right places, no need for rippling of the screen, excess reverse speed etc as it looks a little tacky. The riding was pretty good though.

I watched this video this morning and its well worth the download, some amazing riding with crazy front hooks and taps as well as some nice ramp riding.

For me treacle, lemon and sugar or strawberry jam are the only choices. I have just had a pile of pancakes, all with golden syrup on. Was very nice.

Course you can still enter, the deadline is 4th March I believe (yes mine was incredibly early) Oh and glad you like my entry Jason.
-
Thats what I get for trying to use a 20 cm tall tripod with no turning facility, I had to pick the camera up a little to turn it round. Glad you liked it.

Glad you like it so far guys, it was a chance to experiment with my video making. Anyone else watched it?

I have ridden Cleethorpes many times, seeing as its not that far from where I live, Scunthorpe. It is good, Signhills is the best but place it didnt feature in the Manifesto DVD did it? That was filmed in Canada I think, where Ryan Leech lives. Come ride Scunthorpe, we have some pretty good spots for varying levels, not much further than Cleethorpes.

Am, I the only one here whos knees feel knackered, like when I crouch down I can hear them crack. I dont suffer any pain from trials except after long rides my knees ache a little as does my lower back.

Yep, I only made it because I enjoyed making it, the song is Oasis-Married With Children.
-
Towards the end there is some biggish gaps from a small ledge to some bricks, so there is some different stuff.

You can never please everyone. I would post an mpeg file, but I dont have the compressor to do so. My computer is gay...
