No problem, everyone has a right to their opinion. I dont take offence by it, after all this competitions only a bit of fun. I have uploaded my better version now, extra footage filmed today, some other stuff was cut out. I have also tried out the camera panning technique as in Fatmikes last video. Its in the link above, filename is 'Curbshizzle 2'. See what you think.

Did some filming today, original video edited and taken offline. New video in my folder in link above, I have cut some clips out and added new ones in, and tried out the camera panning technique as in Fatmikes last video. It came out OK, see what you think. I have also tried to link a few tricks together. Filename is now 'Curbshizzle 2'.

Ok, I will compress it but I didnt want to spoil the nice quality, for me that makes a video.
-
Ok Dan, cheers for being generous and all. I might film some more today, more lines and different places. Ill cut some of the clips out the middle of the video and replace them for some better ones.

9.00am-Got up, had breakfast (tea and toast) 10.00am-watched a few trials videos, some of last years curb video entries too. 11.00am-went out on my own with camera and bike to a local closed road and filmed my curb video 2.00pm-went home, had a pot noodle for dinner 3.00pm until now was spent walking the dog, going on the computer (editing video, uploading video etc), playing pool and listening to music.

Yeh there is a recommendation of around 1 minute long, but I wanted to include a little more footage. Oh and a few last year were nearly 3 minutes ie SebJT's...

Hey guys, I have posted my entry to the second curb video competition in the entry topic, this one is for comments though. I didnt enter last years one, but thought it looked fun so I gave it a go. It was all filmed today near where I live, I have tried to include as many tricks as I could think of. I filmed and edited it all myself, the image quality has turned out top notch I think. I made it a little early as I didnt realise that the deadline had been moved to April until I had already uploaded it. I kept the editing and song simple. tv.isg.si Filename is 'Curbshizzle 2' Any constructive comments welcome, but remember its all a bit of fun.

I wasnt sure whether to post this yet, but here is my entry; tv.isg.si Filename is 'Curbshizzle 2'. Comments here

Cheers man, next one should be ten times better. Looking into new camera and improving with premier.

Really? Mine downloaded quickly... Mint videos, I wondered why there was repeated clips but its because the other video was a trailer. Some typically big powerful riding though. That Area 51 place looks awesome, so much in one space, ramps, concrete tubes, wooden boxes, pallets etc etc. Is it just one big indoor hall carved out of a cliffside? I noticed it looks like a rock climbing centre too, unless its just me.
-
Some absolutely awesome riding from the guy on the mod once again, his style is so springy and poweful yet smooth too.
-
I noticed the new shorties on there earlier, I was visiting your site to watch the old ones again, and was pleasantly suprised by some new ones! Nice little clips there, some incredible riding/filming. Downloading Alex's chapter 1 now.

Thanks man, I dont really know why I put the written commentary in, just testing what I could do with the editing in premier, thats all. Thanks for all the nice comments guys, glad to see my videos seem to be getting better every time. More comments welcome.

Anybody else watched it?

Yeh thats not Sheffield. Both those videos are pretty bad which is a shame because both the riders are amazing. The quality and lack of editing spoil them. I would like to see a decent video of the Lyons event though, and one of the Sheffield event too.

Cheers, I see some people dont like the music choice, maybe its too fast for the video I dont know. Oh and tipus I didint realise I was using the same songs as TRA? Keep the comments coming.
-
Cheers, like I said I think there is more variety in this video. Keep the comments coming.

Whoa! Some quick commenting there. So it plays fine for everybody except wilky_mod_legend2? You did say it could have been because of you laptop though... Im new to Adobe and video making in general, so I tried to keep the editing simple, cheesy effects and bike videos dont go together in my opinion... Nice to see you think I have improved, I feel this video shows the best riding yet, I tried to include varied moves such as hooks so its more interesting. Keep the comments coming.

Right guys, here is my fourth video, filmed over this half-term period. Its all street riding this time, in different places. Its my first go with Adobe Premier, so tell me what you think of the editing. It seems to play perfectly in DivX player, but not so good in Media Player even though its .wmv. Try it though, might just be my computer (its knackered). Anyway, tell me what you think. "Vid Four" Cheers, Luke.

Hey guys, I have exported part of a video in using the standard setting which is D1/DV PAL (1.067) but I have a border around the edge of my video when its in full screen, what do I need to export it as to get rid of the border? Or do I have to drag every clip to fit the full screen individually? Any help appreciated.

Im not that keen on the whole going big and looking sketchy style of riding, but the video was pretty good nonetheless. Keep it up.

I like it, looks smart and there is finally an online ordering facility. No more posting cheques via snail mail.
-
Not a bad video, some good riding from the guys on the control and levelboss (I think thats what bikes they were). Didnt like the song though.
-
I like that picture, good job. Perfect thing for valentines day.

Nice video, some really good riding as usual, I liked the location too. Im jealous of the Swedes with their Area 51.
