I see what you mean LukeBrisaRider, quality rather than quantity. I thought about this last night, I am going to spend a lot of time on my next video so hopefully it will be better. Everything in this video was made first time withouit too much effort, so obviously I dont push myself enough, thats one of the problems of riding on my own a lot. I have started going on group rides elsewhere etc, but havent got any footage yet. I am also starting to learn adobe premier so hopefully that will help the editing be better. I think I got a little over excited when I made my first video and rushed them, the next one shoulkd be better.

I run an XTR lever with a cheapo fibrax cable from my local bike shop with my BB7, and it works amazingly and has done for the past 8 months or so. I havent changed the pads or the cable once yet since I got the brake and it still works great. I would never spend £30 on a brake cable.

Well I only used a tripod from 2.19 onwards, and if you pause those clips the screenshots are good. Why would you want a screenshot anyway? The rest was filmed by my Mum, some of the natural was shakey, but thats about it.

Fair comment, although I dont put out videos to show my editing skills, as I made this video on my own, with a cheap camera (still good quality though) and a crap editing program. I am more concerned with what people think of my riding to be honest. I do try with the editing, such as the prelude bit at the start, but like I say I dont spend hours like Andyt etc as his videos are known for amazing editing and most of them contain other riders ie Vincent Hermance and all the riders at Koxx days rather than himself, so he prides himself on his filming and editing skills, rather than his riding. Keep the comments coming though, the ones so far have been helpful.

Heres mine, I got them a few days ago and they seem promising. I put a fresh, harsh grind on my rim to ensure they work well and they do. Not too loud, just a nice little assuring squeal to let you know they work. They are showing no signs of wear either, and I hev been srubbing the brake a lot for manuals etc.

Wheelies are easy on a trials bike, you just have to stand up. I prefer manuals though.

The same thing happened to me with a set of onza wise guys, except it did happen on a tap and I shat myself.

I start with my cranks just about level, then push back and up on the pedal with my lead foot, and down with my back foot to spin the cranks, then to land you just keep your eye on them when they are spinning and catch the pedals.

Cheers Gears (excuse the rhyme). Glad you like it. I think what makes it better is that the shots are varied and the locations are different. Comments are slow, loads of views but one reply. Please tell me if you like it/dont like it.

Hey guys, this is my third video, filmed over the past week or so using a camera man, some clips were filmed by me on my own with a tripod. It features natural and street riding. I have tried to respond to the comments from my last videos to make this one better, let me know what you think. Its .wmv, 40mb, 3.32 long. Filename, as you would expect is 'Luke Drewery Video Three'. tv.isg.si Cheers, Luke.

Nice video, I liked the footage of Staples and Chai. All round good riding and editing.

Nice little video, I have seen most of those clips before in his videos. Very amusing though. I tried downloading it last night and the download rate was awful, I tried this morning though and it was OK, took about 2 mins. Oh and that frame snap at the end was very harsh.

Nice video, some good riding. That sidehop at the end was nice. A little more vriety would be cool though.

Grips - For Those Who Like The Thin Grips....
Luke Drewery replied to ben_travis's topic in Trials Chat
Sounds good, I like thin grips and the ones on the market at the minute dont last long, this may be the answer to over priced tat. We need pics. -

Cool little vid, looks like fun. I have never tried it myself, but I would like to someday. -
Nice little video, reminds me of good times doing spins and manuals all day. Oh the joy of short bikes.

I agree completely with what you just said, I feel more comfortable sidehopping to my left up walls and Im left foot forward. Its strange though as I can sidehop higher over stuff to my right but when I go to my right up something I feel like Im going to fall off every time, I just cant get comfortable with it. When I do get the confidence to actually go to the right on a decent sized sidehop I bail out and break a mech hanger-not fun at all. It just doesnt feel right at all. I agree with what you said, a lot of people in the UK over exaggerate their tucks a lot, they go to front wheel and still tuck on relatively small walls. I can sidehop over a rope/bar/whatever about bar height, and I dont tuck to the side (watch my vids) so you dont necessarily need to tuck to get the height on a sidehop.

Mint video, the riding was awesome, the quality let it down though. Those hooks, taps and gaps to front wheel are very impressive, keep it up.

Oh OK, sorry then dude I got the completely wrong idea.

Wrong thread I think peeps...

Cheers dude, I filmed it with my new camera which is OK for general filming. I didnt epxect much in the form of comments, glad you liked it though. Some people may think its pointless posting it, but I enjoy filming stuff and putting it together. Plus I got my new front wheel built and new tyre fitted, so I wanted to try them out.
