  1. Where are you all watching it from? My usual site only has part 1 of the episode. PM ifpossible asap Cheers
  2. What a video, has put me in a quality mood!! Cannot wait for summer, hope we get a good one this year! More videos like this with a feel-good factor please!
  3. Cheers man, just one thing, what are the dharma initiative? Also when and how did we find out about them?
  4. I missed pretty much all of season 2 and a fair bit of season 3 and have been trying to get back into it. Obviously I do watch lost or I wouldn't be talking about it on here, I just found it an interesting episode and thought I'd put what I thought was happening, but looks like I need to do more research on what's gone on. Don't really think you have to be as hostile to say "do you even watch lost?", you could have filled in the gaps instead..... I don't know and you probably do, but if ben's been on the island since he was 10, how was that photo taken of him that the 4 "rescuers" had, looking a similar age to how he does currently? Or is that a twist that hasn't been uncovered yet?
  5. Wasn't all that impressed to be honest, worked as a musical I guess, but was repetitve, was hardly any variation in the songs when you look at other musical films coming out now and in the past where there are many catchy songs (grease, you all know them really). I know Tim Burton tried to make the violence/blood noticeably fake, but it was just too fake, especially after watching other films of today which have special effects which you couldn't tell between that and the real incident happening. Also I think I could have written the storyline in 10 minutes as it seemed fairly uneventful, with only a few twists. However all these negatives could come together to produce a good film strange as it sounds, as I know most musicals don't and aren't intended to have deep meaningful plots, I'm just biased as I didn't enjoy it. Seems silly though that it's been nominated for so many awards, and critics are giving it 5 stars when there are many more enjoyable films out there that don't get such good ratings. Best part of the film for me was seeing sascha baron cohen talking and acting normally! He is a very good actor
  6. One of the most satisfying episodes of lost yet, think they must have got the idea that most people were getting sick of never finding anything out! I think ben must be some sort of ex-convict/mad man of some sort, who had a theory or something that scared the government and they tried to have him arrested/captured, so he fled to an island with a group of followers. It's wierd, we know so much but none of it has been linked together properly. The mysterious black guy who met hurley and sent the 4 in the chopper must work for an organisation which holds the logo seen on the bags and the collar of the polar bear skeleton. Question is was the organisation on the island first, or was ben their first, because god knows how the polar bears got their if ben was their first. Also the wierd cage which dispensed food suggests the island is used for psychological testing on humans or animals (polar bears), as its pretty much the same as skinner's box. Lots of answers will be coming, lost has moved up a big notch in my book!!!
  7. Some massive riding, that tap is insane, over 5 feet!!
  8. There are loads of happy moments, but one recent one that stuck out to me was last week in an exam in my first year of uni, I stopped and looked up and thought to myself about when I was younger and people would talk about going to university and making it there, and it always seemed like it was ages away and I didn't have to think about it. Then GCSE's and A-Levels which to start with I didn't try so hard in, but eventually put the effort in and made it into the uni I never thought I would get into. I don't know why it was in the exam, but it just clicked in my head, this is it, you've made it to uni, and I couldn't help but smile (even though the exam was horrendous).
  9. Quality vid, one of the best I've seen. Music was good and was just enjoyable to watch, not to mention the crazy riding, flys at everything. Like a cross between that vincent hermance colorado video and the old videos from the guy in china on the zoo team where he was always round water. Well worth a watch!
  10. The story was either the hair was new or the car hadn't been rented until after madelines disappearance, it was something significant otherwise it wouldn't have been picked up on. I'm not saying its proof either way, if they had moved the body afterwards, god knows where they would have hidden it as the police would have turned the apartment complex upside down searching I would imagine. Just everything about it screams to be dodgy to me, like why did nobody see a child being taken away in some form of distress in a massive apartment block at a peak time. As has been said, it seems they know something they're not telling. Also what's annoyed me, people say they've seen madeline, and girls they're sure are madeline, why don't they go over and say is that your child, or raise some sort of alarm instead of just leaving it and letting the police know afterwards
  11. I think it's strange how much contradiction there is in the whole case, which is why they get no sympathy from me. As people of said, this happens probably a hundred times every day in countries throughout the world. I remember when I went to Canada about 5 years ago, at the Wal Mart there was an advert wall with about 50 pictures and descriptions of children who had gone missing. Yet with madeline, they've created all this hype and done stuff like visiting the pope?! Unless they are severely religious, I can't understand why they are doing this, unless its trying to create a good impression of themselves in the publics eye. Just the way they've acted around the whole thing makes me and most people suspicious of it, not to mention the hair found in their rental car (if it was). It seems as if they've spent so much money travelling and looking and doing everything they perceive to be right to make themselves feel better for the guilt of leaving her, or maybe accidentally killing her. I also remember reports of people around the resort staying there at the same time, had all said the same thing that the mum had a fragile temper and lost it with Madline noticeably more than once. This could of course be Portugese police making it up, but it was from a English newspaper, and the portugese police can't be corrupt enough to make up the whole thing just to finish the case. Something genuine must have occured to give them the idea that the parents had something to do with it. It all just seems pretty dodgy, and I can't understand how making a film is going to achieve anything. It will only be shown in the UK anyway or British speaking countries, and everyone in the UK knows who madeline is, what happened and where she was kidknapped from. Just more wasted money which could be used in other ways to prevent other kids dying. I appreciate this isn't everyones view, but I know a lot of people do feel the same
  12. Cranmer may have no style in most peoples eyes, but I don't think any more than 5 other riders in the world could do those sorts of moves. He's a machine. While I'm posting, anyone know what's happened to Mark Webb and Ben Wallace? Kept their heads down over winter
  13. Why would you want to make your bike heavier? Thats worse than wearing tight jeans because everyone else is, as it's making you ride worse. It's exactly the same as the whole chase riding "fashioinably"
  14. Yeah I had this last year, just before my exams at GCSE, and it got bad too. Then I began to chill out and not get worked up over stuff, and it went away!! Just chill out and think its not worth worryin over. Just thinking about the fact it's there probably makes it worse!!
  15. LOL That was well good, can't believe it was filmed in 11 mins. I was thinking it would take hours while I was watching it. The nod after you had a sip made me laugh haha. You should take on a bigger project of going to the shop to get a paper. Might need someone else to guard the camera though. Quality
  16. Cool points can be emailed to me. ROAD FOOLS 15 Get it while its hot
  17. When did Ben Wallace and Tony Watkinson become american??? Better be a typo.....traiters Cheers for the reminder, gota find a way of getting there now

    Speakers

I got all mine off ebay, which is well worth a look!! Depending on what you want the system for, any high quality speakers would be good for the front. As for the subs, it all depends on what you want it to sound like and how high quality. For the money, kicker subwoofers are hard to beat on bass, but there not as high a quality. My mate's got a 12" kicker on an 800W amp, and it's louder than my other mate's who's got 2 2000W audiobahn subs powered on 2 1500W amps. However the audiobahn outdoes the kicker on quality hands down. However the kicker and amp was about £250 in total off ebay, and the audiobahn was about £1500. I only spend about £200 on a 1000W Boss amp, 2 10" Boss subs, 2 alpine 6x9s and 2 alpine 5" speakers for the front. However if I could buy a system again, I'd do what has been said and just get some front door speakers and a high quality sub. As chavvy as it is, I love the bass, makes you feel the music rather than just hear it.
  19. All the eastern countries have a different way of thinking to us. They're disciplined in every way, some of which I think we should bring into our society. I went to china last easter for 2 weeks, and I couldn't believe there discipline. You get fined by police if you're caught dropping litter, and put in jail for minor things. I'm not saying I'd want people to be put in jail left right and centre, as according to another current issue, we're mighty good at that. Just when I was there I kept thinking, a chav in England would do that in there sleep, and even though the eastern countries seem hostile, there is a certain level of discipline which makes them so organised and powerful. If anyone ever gets the chance, I would say go to china without a second thought, it's a whole different world, and makes you look at the world in a different way. Tiananmen Square is a marvel, it's actually mind boggling. With North Korea, I really don't think there is any threat to us whatsoever, however I think there is going to be large amounts of trouble in the future in the eastern countries. As their economies are growing, they're wanting to become more powerful. We had dinner in china with a chinese family, and the guy knows lots of people in the government, although he isn't involved, he knows a lot. He said China we're planning on taking back Taiwan after the Beijing Olympics, as they think it will be such an event, the world will be on their side, and they will get away with it. With North Korea likely to do the same to South Korea soon, I think it could end up in a real mess. As all the economies are growing, they're feeling more powerful, and I think there could be another war soon, which could develop into a world war if George Bush steps in, which is likely. It would be nice to say our world is mature enough to solve the problems at the UN meetings, but the fact that North Korea has let off this nuke without warning, proves it clearly isn't in some cases. As has been said, those countries are completely different to our world, but I think we have a lot to learn from them, even though they have even more to learn from us. They don't have the need for speed cameras, security cameras everywhere, because the country is so scared of the sanctions, they don't do any of the crimes our country does. Similarly, there is borderline, and china may have gone over it. 98% of all the world's death sentences happen in China, and a lot of them are corrupt Politicians who have been "eliminated". It's a fascinating country, and has a lot to offer the world, but similarly, the future of those countries is scary, and this bomb has made lots of people aware of it.
  20. Got bought a car, and insurance on that as parents have been putting away money each month since I was like 13, and they're doing the same for my sister. Didn't have any paid for lessons though, just learnt with my dad and passed first time. I pay for petrol and anything that goes wrong, think I might have to pay some of my insurance this year though. Spacemunkee you lucky tard, bet your dad drives a monster of a car if that's your history of cars.
  21. It was posted before on a bmx blog site I think, but as you say it deserves a second post, and a 3rd, and a 4th. Ruben is insane to be honest, sees stuff nobody else does.
  22. Go to smaller places, they often do. Big places don't as they have insurance policies etc and you have to be on the books, and you can't be on the books unless you have a national insurance number, which you can't get until you're 16, or a few months before.
  23. Man you've improved looads. Was a good vid, reverse sequences were wierd but cool
